He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact-Chapter 502. Fire over Atlantis 1
"Two weeks."
The moment Kailen spoke, everyone widened their eyes in surprise.
Only Jackson was not surprised. From the memories of the enemy base commander he had accessed after killing the fellow, the base commander only knew that the enemy would be launching a large scale attack on Atlantis in two weeks. The enemy commander did not even have clearance level concerning the information.
From the memories, the fellow whose memories Jackson had absorbed only got to catch a glimpse of this information through whispered rumors.
"That’s all we have?" Donalds asked, voicing what was on everyone’s minds.
"Yeah, nothing else," Jackson answered.
Kailen noticed everyone’s worried expressions.
He said, "Actually, from the operation we just pulled recently, I am really confident that the attack could be launched in less than two weeks. The enemy would not take the attack we launched lying down."
Everyone seemed to be in deep thought, nodding and murmuring amongst one another in understanding of his words.
"Is HQ aware of this information?" Anaya asked, worried. The pictures of her family were on her mind.
"Yes. Fortunately, HQ trusts me enough due to recent achievements. Covert operatives have been deployed to Atlantis already. Also, I managed to secure the help of the seniors who guarded the base in my absence during the recently concluded operation before I handed over base leadership," Kailen continued. "Also, I’ve mobilized four hundred rank 1 beginner stage galactic level lifeforms from the Long Hai training hall, and another four hundred from the Kazuka training hall. Even Arnold’s father is already there. This is extremely covert. The moment the enemy makes an appearance, we will be ready for them."
"Why is my father there?" Arnold said.
"We have no idea of the kind of enemy juggernauts we will be facing. It’s better to have a rank 1 supreme stage galactic level powerhouse with us," Borngreat said.
Kailen nodded. As expected of a former military powerhouse on Earth, Borngreat was right. This was his reason for this decision to include Arnold’s father.
The moment he contacted Ross Kadmen, the old man decided to delay his trip to the extreme zone. He even contacted two powerhouses at the rank 1 supreme stage galactic level he was associated with and asked for their help. They were all in Atlantis at the moment.
"I noticed you mentioned they were laying in wait covertly. Are we suspecting some sort of enemy spies present at Atlantis?" Angela asked.
All eyes were on Kailen.
"Yes," he replied. "I scanned most of Atlantis. But, as the realm is extremely large, I couldn’t find any enemy spies there."
They were not surprised Kailen was scanning Atlantis for enemy spies. Everyone knew he had a special method of locating vimodial contractors.
But they were more puzzled. He said he didn’t find any enemy spies, yet he believed they were present.
"Could it be that they are hiding at regions of Atlantis your scan could not cover?" Zarek said.
"My shadow creatures are still scanning the realm for any sign of enemy spies, but they still haven’t come across any. It’s not surprising because Atlantis is very large. But I am certain they are hiding in the realm. That’s the reason why our men are lying in wait covertly. If the spies notice them, they will alert their higher ups, and they will decide countermeasures. We can only bet on the fact that our preparations are enough to destroy the enemy."
Everyone nodded.
"As for your family," Kailen said to Anaya, "I’ve moved them out of Atlantis. They are currently with Old Ha."
"You really have thought everything through, haven’t you?" Anaya chuckled in relief. Her family was safe.
Lian Yu said, "Thanks, man."
"Don’t mention it," Kailen replied warmly.
"Do you want me to move the members of the Reaverson Clan out? Ethan? You know, just in case the plan goes sideways?"
Kailen asked Ethan.
Ethan replied, "Awakeners at the ascendant level can be moved out. Apart from them, other awakeners will stay and fight. We need all the hands we can on board. If the enemy takes over Atlantis, they are directly in Empire territory, and they can strike deeper into the empire. You guys all have loved ones in empire territory. We can’t begin to imagine the consequences if the enemy takes over Atlantis. Also, it’s not like the other empires are equally safe. We can’t move our loved ones there. The enemy could also launch attacks there at any time."
Everyone nodded.
Micheal said, "This has nothing to do with protecting the empire. It has everything to do with protecting our loved ones."
"Very well," Kailen nodded. He agreed with Micheal.
Earth was now part of the Astral Empire. As Earth’s key authority, he may have felt responsible for Earth. But at the moment, he was primarily doing this for the sake of his loved ones.
This had to succeed.
"Time to head to Atlantis." 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

"Is everything ready?"
Commander Salarsa said. She was clothed in a large elven garment pulsing with runes.
She rose from the pool teeming with dead bodies and concentrated life force.
A voice spoke from the shadows, clearly that of an intelligence agent reporting to her.
"Ye-s, commander."
"Good. Everything is going as planned. You may leave."
The subject replied subserviently, "Yes," and disappeared.
"I finally managed to become a rank 1 supreme stage galactic level lifeform. I’m also a rank 3 runesmith now." Salarsa’s gaze flickered with ruthless light. "It seems taking over Atlantis will be easier than I expected it to be."
"If only it was possible to still be in control after I get to the Dao level."
"At least you’ve seen what power tastes like. Don’t forget how miserable you were before I contracted you, Salarsa. You were an abandoned child, a street rat. But now, you command armies, and others revere you," her vimodial said.
"True," Salarsa sighed. "Power is addictive indeed. Now that I have some, I want more."
"Then enjoy yourself and climb to the peak of the supreme stage galactic level. See how standing at the peak of low tier civilisations tastes like. At least, that should grant you some fulfillment before I take over, when you step into the Dao level," the vimodial said, its voice almost ethereal, eerie.
"That, I will do."
The sounds of footsteps echoed from outside the door.
The person did not enter, but spoke from behind it.
"Lord Salarsa, everyone is ready."
"Then, let’s set off."
