He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact-Chapter 500. Offensive 2
The shadow creatures turned into tendrils as they left the shadow expanse.
The obsidian tendrils materialised before Kailen. The tendrils came together, turning into an extremely large bow and arrow before Kailen.
Lightning, fire, and water elemental energy blazed around the arrow, knocked in the bow.
The three elemental energies condensed around the edge of the arrow, forming some sort of sharp blade around it. The very air seemed to recoil.
Several potent poisons Kailen had used some alchemical ingredients in the pocket world to make bathed the arrow too.
Kailen’s eyes were calm, peering through every nook and cranny of the base. His shadow sense, elemental mirroring, and perception were fully at work.
The base of the vimodial contractors was extremely vigilant.
Their communication with the other bases had been completely cut off. This had occurred across several bases.
Although an enemy attack was yet to be confirmed, the vimodial contractors had reinforced the defenses of the base.
Kailen wanted to end everything quickly. No theatrics. He was working with time.
Currently, he was far from the satellite monitoring of the base, floating calmly in the air.
His eyes locked onto the base commander, hands flexed on his waist as he paced around anxiously in a conference room, having a meeting with several other higher ups.
A rank 3 intermediate stage galactic level.
Invisibility and teleportation runes shimmered around the obsidian arrow in the bowstring, flickering with elemental energy.
Kailen released the bow.
It seemed to pierce through the void. No noise. No sound. No detection.
The conference room was quiet.
The base commander screamed at a subordinate.
" What the hell do you mean you cannot reach the other bases? Fucking try again!"
" Sir I—"
Before the subordinate could finish talking, the head of the captain was blasted apart.
Blood splattered across the room as flames, lightning, and water elemental energies raged across the captain’s dead body.
How?
Everyone panicked.
An intruder.
They were no match for whoever this invisible adversary was.
They had to flee.
At that moment, one of them saw an obsidian arrow in his line of vision.
The obsidian arrow disappeared suddenly.
Puchi...
The fellow didn’t even have the chance to scream before he died.
Puchi...
Puchi...
Puchi...
The conference room was finally silent.
The empire citizens were shocked, eyes glued to the broadcast. The conference room was now full of headless corpses and walls painted in blood. A single arrow had done this work.
Naturally, Kailen had no idea his operation was being broadcast to the whole empire. Even if he did, he wouldn’t care.
He nodded in satisfaction.
The leaders were dead.
The vimodial contractors had put him on their kill list. Why not teach them a lesson or two about death.
After that, Kailen left in his spaceship. Then, he left the rest to his shadow creatures.
Another base fell shortly after that. A base led by a rank 7 intermediate stage galactic level vimodial contractor.
Kailen Darkhaven simply appeared in the base commander’s bedroom as some action was going on beneath the bedsheets.
The fellow felt something in the room and threat encumbered him.
All the fellow saw was an obsidian-looking creature with a horn nestled atop his forehead. The obsidian creature had a fanatic grin on his face, and calm eyes.
The last thing he saw before he died was the figure’s hand piercing through his skull.
The eyes of the concubine, a rank 5 beginner stage galactic level lifeform, turned lifeless.
Kailen had killed her with his spiritual power.
The two lay dead ,bodies clinging to each other beneath the sheets.
After he killed the base commander, Kailen left the rest to the shadow creatures and went to the next base.
In just a single night, Colonel Kailen Darkhaven had destroyed 50 hidden enemy bases.
But what the audience didn’t notice was that anytime a base commander was killed, their dead bodies were sent into Kailen’s shadow expanse. He would let Jackson have access to their memories later for intelligence.
HQ was wondering how he had managed to discover these hidden bases.
How was he doing this?
Naturally, the Colonel had his unconventional methods. What was normal and conventional about this fellow?
The higher ups watching the feed sighed.
They didn’t know that Jackson Bloodfallen was behind this discovery. Jackson and Kailen preferred it this way. They should blame it on his unconventional methods.
Since the military had failed to protect his clan, and his clan had fallen while serving the military, why would he blindly trust them with his ability?
Why would he reveal himself to them and let them use him, and paint a target of the enemy on his back at the same time?
He was only using his ability to help Kailen. Also, it was personal for him. The vimodial contractors had killed his clan.
He would use this ability secretly to cause them a lot of trouble.
To the public, he was a vampire with poison and blood affinity. But no one, apart from those in his circle who had been privy to the information, would know about his secret ability to access the memories of people after he drank their blood.
At the moment, Jackson was seated in a spaceship with his unit members, returning to HQ base 322.
He had a grim expression.
He had urgent information for Kailen concerning Atlantis.

The Astral Empire and surrounding empires were in an uproar.
Colonel Kailen Darkhaven had led a team of majors, captains, and lieutenants alongside their units to flatten 80 previously veiled bases of the vimodial contractors beyond the Frontlines of the Astral Empire.
Also, four bases out of the several bases a few light years near HQ base 322 , which had been claimed by the enemy, had been reclaimed by Colonel Darkhaven.
This was indeed a huge blow that had been dealt to the enemy.
Despite knowing that the enemy had placed a kill target on his back, Colonel Darkhaven had taken the offensive and slaughtered them.
The Colonel was extremely daring.
The videos had spread across the empires like wildfire. Many felt their blood boiling as they watched the videos of Kailen Darkhaven and the other operatives.
The operation went so smoothly that many thought they were watching a movie. It was not simply military prowess at work. Flawless strategy played an extremely important role too.
Excellency Concima was currently seated in a villa in the virtual universe with Ross Kadmen, his disciple, who had just broken through to the rank 1 supreme stage galactic level.
" What do you think, master?"
" Have you seen the videos of that kid?"
Concima replied.
Ross rolled his eyes.
Instead of his master commending him for his breakthrough, this old man was thinking about Kailen Darkhaven.
But who could blame the old man?
The kid was too much.
One terrifying feat after another.
To the point of being able to kill rank 7 intermediate stage galactic level lifeforms when he was at the rank 6 beginner stage galactic level.
He had even led an operation to destroy 80 previously hidden bases of the enemy, and had personally destroyed fifty of them.
" Old man. Are you trying to say that very soon, the kid will surpass us?" Kadmen asked, not from anger, but from curiosity.
" You already know that, so why are you asking me? After what he just pulled off, the enemy will take him more seriously than before. He needs to hide for a while and focus on improving his strength," Concima said as he took another sip of his tea.
" I will let the military know so that he can take some time off. I would have loved to personally train him if I had the time. Apparently, the enemy is growing more relentless and that is not possible.
But even if I wanted to train him, whatever power backing him is definitely not someone I can look down on. So, I will let him come to the low tier civilisation headquarters of the Universe Alliance to train rather."
Ross nodded.
He had been considering suggesting this to his master.
Kailen needed some time to lay low and increase his strength.
What he had pulled off would put him on the highest kill list of the vimodial contractors. They would not even hesitate to send supreme stage galactic level vimodial contractors after him.
" I would like to suggest that his friends are also allowed to go train there too," Ross said.
" Hmph. I hear. You are only saying this because your son will benefit from it. You sly brat."
" You really don’t trust me, old man. Let’s eat, the food is getting cold."
" Sorry kid, but I have to go. Duty calls. Also, prepare yourself. You will be joining my unit soon."
Concima disappeared.
It seemed urgent.
Ross was not surprised.
The Excellencies were fighting the most gruesome battles with powerhouse supreme stage galactic level vimodial contractors almost all the time, at the extreme zones of the Frontlines.
His master had been able to make time for their meeting because he had a few months of rest from no battles.
" Seems like I will be heading there soon to join master’s unit, huh."
Only those at the supreme stage galactic level could head to the extreme zones. If people below that rank went there, they wouldn’t even last a second.
They’d simply die from the shockwaves of a battle.
