Slowly ,the ingredients were being refined into something else.

The impurities in the ingredients were being burnt at an astonishing pace .

Kailen was working with a calm expression on his face,not revealing even the slightest hint of tiredness or struggle on his face.

Very soon the ingredients ,now having assumed liquid forms, undulated in the flames .

The ingredients moved towards one another and merged together ,under the control of the thin shadowy threads.

Kailen knew he had to make use of what was called spiritual power as an alchemist, to aid in control of ingredients during the making of alchemical products .

However ,strangely, he didn’t have this spiritual power. Therefore he could only make use of the shadowy threads created from his shadow manipulation to substitute for the lack of spiritual energy .

The process went on for a while.

The merged ingredients remained in the blue flames,being refined .

Suddenly, a warm and extremely sweet fragrance wafted in the room.

An ordinary looking pill hovered silently in the flames .

The audience watching the whole thing sighed.

Many of them had high expectations for the person in the exams room when they saw him crafting the pills without a cauldron. They had assumed he was some prodigy with exceptional mastery over crafting pills at his level.

However it seemed he was an amateur.
