HDXD: Omni Harem System-Chapter 250: The Potential of Moca Cain
Johanton slumped into the chair he had just conjured up from thin air, the thing materializing with a faint pop of null energy, all sleek black wood and cushy padding that didn't quite match the creepy red glow of the cavern.
He let out a tired sigh, rubbing his temples.
This whole operation was dragging on longer than he would have liked, and the cold was starting to seep into his bones despite his best efforts to ignore it.
"Alright, let's see what's going on out there."
He muttered to himself, waving a hand lazily. A shimmering screen flickered to life in front of him, pulling in a live feed of the chaos unfolding on the surface, like some twisted magical TV tuned to the apocalypse channel.
Before he could even settle in and focus, though, there was a soft giggle from behind him. Daisy floated over, her petite form hovering just a second before she plopped right down onto his lap without a shred of warning.
"Hey, Johnny Senpai."
She purred like a kitten, shifting her weight with that teasing little grin of hers, grinding her ass against his dick in a way that was way too deliberate to be accidental.
She tilted her head back, violet eyes sparkling with mischief.
"You look all tense again. Pent up, huh? Need me to help with that?"
Johanton groaned, trying to shift her off but not really putting much effort into it, damn her and that cute face he said to himself, but did not let his thoughts leaked.
"Daisy, cut it out. We're in the middle of a mission here. This isn't the time for your games."
But she just laughed, grinding a bit harder, her skirt riding up just enough to make his face heat up despite the chill in the air.
"Aw, come on, Senpai. You know you love it."
She winked, that single dimple popping out like it always did when she was being extra playful.
He ignored the growing distraction as best he could, pointing at the screen.
"Just... look at the damn screen, alright? We've got work to do."
Daisy pouted but finally turned her attention to the feed, still perched comfortably on his lap like she owned the place.
The screen showed the battlefield in all its messy glory, snow churned up into muddy slush, bodies scattered around, and right in the thick of it, Naltras was going full beast mode.
From afar, they watched as he channeled his Nature Astrum to caste his Original Nature Spell: Crumble.
That spell caused a massive surge of earthy power that made the ground buckle and heave like it was alive and pissed off.
The earthquake ripped through everything, uprooting huge chunks of earth, sending rocks the size of cars flying through the air.
Students screamed as they got caught in the crossfire, some crushed under falling debris, others impaled or just straight-up buried alive.
Hell, even some of their own cultist grunts weren't spared; a few got flattened by the chaos, their robed bodies twitching before going still.
"Damn, Naltras is efficient as hell."
Johanton said, leaning forward a bit despite Daisy's weight on him.
"Look at that, he is taking out dozens at a time. It true what the rumor say about, the guy is a complete lunatic that doesn't even care about his own man or collateral damage. Either way Father Magla said he is the kind of ruthless power house we need more of, but sadly lacked."
Daisy nodded, her grin fading into something more serious as she watched the destruction unfold.
"Yeah, fufufu... He's like a walking disaster. Those students didn't stand a chance. But hey, our grunts are expendable anyway. As long as the job gets done."
She shifted again, but this time it was more absentminded, her focus on the screen.
As the dust settled a bit on the feed, their eyes caught on Moca. She was up and moving like nothing had happened, her horrific injuries from earlier, gashes, amputation, stabs, and flesh wounds, all of it that had receive from Naltras spell should've left her bleeding out in the snow, but she completely healed over.
And after her flawless regeneration.
She was left with her smooth skin, no scars, nothing, the only evident that she was hit by the Naltras crumble was how bad her clothes where torn.
But there was something off about her energy, even through the magical screen they can feel a familiar energy. It pulsed with this raw, monstrous vibe that made the hairs on Johanton's neck stand up.
Daisy tilted her head, her violet eyes narrowing.
"Wait... she healed already? And that energy... it's not human. No way. She's gotta be something else. That Monster Energy, right?"
Johanton snorted, crossing his arms over her smaller frame to steady himself.
"Obviously... You can't mistake it if sense it once before. She is either a Metahuman high up in the stage perimeter, or some kind of Monster from the Monster Race, posing as a human. Doesn't matter which... This makes her a prime target. Strong ones like that are gold for us."
He didn't waste time dwelling on it.
With a subtle flex of his will, he activated his Demonic Law, the power thrumming through him like a dark current.
It wasn't just for speeding up growth or whatever; one of its handy tricks was real-time info dump.
All this, the earthquake carnage, Moca's weird abilities and energy, the whole shebang was getting beamed straight back to Father Magla.
As he created a way for the info to be directed live to him.
No delays, no messengers getting picked off. Just pure, instant intel.
"I am sending all of this back to the big man himself... I am sure, he will like what we discovered."
He murmured.
"Father'll appreciate the heads-up."
Daisy's eyes lit up as the feed shifted, zooming in on Moca again. There she was, picking out this small red bead from... somewhere? A glass vile from her pocket, hard to tell.
She handed it over to an injured guy... that being Rex, who was leaning against one of the uprooted stones, bloodied and barely holding on.
He popped it into his mouth, and you could see the change almost immediately: wounds closing, color returning to his face.
"What the hell is that?"
Johanton leaned in closer, squinting.
"Some kind of drug? Potion? Looks too simple to be that effective. But damn, if it's healing them like that...
Daisy giggled, but there was an edge to it now.
"Ooh, mystery bead. Could be anything, steroids from hell, maybe? Or some alchemical crap. But if it's healing that fast, we need to snag some. Imagine pumping our forces with that... Recyclable expandable would be very convient."
Then her expression shifted, like she'd just gotten a ping in her head. She straightened up a bit on his lap, eyes widening.
"Whoa... Ichora just told me. That's no ordinary drug. It's blood of the Vampire King. Basically it heals all sickness, injuries, wipes out any status effects clean. And get this, as a side effect, it jacks up your physical strength by like, two hundred times. Permanent boost. But yeah, downside: you start hating the sun a little. Photosensitivity or whatever."
Johanton's eyebrows shot up.
"Vampire King blood ha? Interesting... I gotta report this to Father Magla pronto. If we can get our hands on that stuff, or better yet, on Moca herself who probably has ties with the king we could have a massive edge in the war to come. And turn the Cult's grunts into unkillable super soldiers overnight, instead of normal augmented humans."
He fired off the update through his Law link, the info zipping away like a shadow in the night. Daisy nodded eagerly.
"Totally... And look at her now, saving everyone with those shadow clones. She is popping them out left and right, pulling people out of the rubble, shielding them from debris. This girl potential is off the charts. I bet she could handle being a vessel for a Demon Duke, easy. No rejection, full sync."
"Agreed."
Johanton said, his voice low.
"She's too valuable to waste. Naltras needs to prioritize her."
He reached out with his mind, creating a telepathic link from nothing snapping into place like an invisible thread.
'Naltras.'
'Can you here me?'
Johnaton said, and Naltras replied.
"Yes Lord Sixth?"
'That girl with the White hair, do me favor and capture her alive for me will you, also that dark skin boy with the spear, also capture him too.'
"As you wish Lord, I will see to it that it is done."
'Good, carry out the attack as plan... Glory be to the Goddess.'
"Glory be to the Goddess."
With that Johanton cut the link off, doing his part.
"It's done."
Johanton said to Daisy.
Who then clapped her hands softly, excited.
"Yay! Things are looking up. With Naltras on it, we'll...
But then, just as the vibe was shifting to something almost optimistic, their blood froze in their veins.
The feed caught it clear as day... Adam stepping out of the cabin. They knew he was holed up in there, of course, intel had pegged him from the start.
But seeing him now, even through the screen, hit different. His aura blasted out like a freaking supernova, this immense wave of power that made the air in the cavern, no in the entire planet feel heavier, thicker.
It rivaled Father Magla's, easy...hell, it might even surpass it. Johanton's hands tightened on the chair arms, and Daisy went still on his lap, her teasing forgotten.
"Shit."
Johanton whispered, his usual cocky tone cracking just a bit.
"That's... that's him isn't it. Adam Van Hellsing. Even from here, that aura... it's insane. Like staring down a god in the flesh of a man."
Daisy swallowed hard, her porcelain skin paling even more.
"Fufufu... yeah. Father warned us, but feeling it? It's way worse. He rivals Magla doesn't he? Nah, it might be greater. What the hell is he... Their is no way a normal human being beside the Overlord can posses this much power."
They watched as Adam moved, calm as anything, like the chaos around him was just a minor annoyance.
Students perked up at his presence, but Johanton could feel the shift, the game had just leveled up in the worst way.
"We need to amp things up."
He said, forcing his voice steady.
"Daisy the Queen's reproduction...double it. And I will pump more power into the slugs. If Adam's in play, we can't hold back."
Daisy nodded, floating off his lap finally, her chains pulsing with the same dark energy as before, as she turned back to the writhing mass below.
"On it, Senpai. But... this might get ugly."
Johanton didn't reply, his eyes glued to the screen. The earthquake's aftermath was still settling, rocks tumbling down slopes, injured students groaning as Moca's clones hauled them to safety.
Rex was already testing his new strength, shoving a boulder aside like it was nothing, though he winced at the faint aura light peeking through the clouds.
Naltras was back in action on the feed, weaving through the debris, his horn glowing as he prepped another spell.
But Adam... Adam was the wildcard. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
Johanton sent another burst of info to Father Magla.
The reply would come soon, he hoped. For now, they had to play smart. Daisy was already channeling her influence into the Queen, the slug-thing convulsing as it birthed more horrors, the chains tightening to keep it in line.
"More slugs incoming senpai."
She said with a forced cheer.
"Let's bury them all."
But in that Same moment their blood run cold as Adam rise in the sky, and incomprehensible amount of Astrum began to leave his body.
"Shitttt!"
Johanton said in fear.
