Has Big Shot Fallen in Love Today?-Chapter 829: Star Treatment
The atmosphere in the room was a bit strange.
Sheng Tang looked at Gu Jiahui, momentarily at a loss for words. Fortunately, Gu Jiahui noticed too, turned his face away, and poured himself a glass of water.
He said to Sheng Tang, "Go lie down on the bed, don’t catch a cold."
Sheng Tang agreed.
She then asked Gu Jiahui, "How many days will you be staying here?"
Gu Jiahui replied, "Two days, I suppose."
Sheng Tang agreed again.
Her room was a suite as well. Whenever she was on the film set, the best hotel room was definitely hers.
As expected, Sheng Tang lay down on the bed, curling herself up under the covers.
She took out an alarm clock and set a time, "I’ll sleep for thirty minutes."
Gu Jiahui said, "Sleep well, there’s no scene to shoot tonight."
"I’m afraid if I sleep too much, I won’t be able to sleep at night, which would delay tomorrow’s work," Sheng Tang said, "If I don’t sleep well, I tend to get angry. You know, I can’t afford to get angry now..."
She was already the biggest star on this film set, losing her temper would be considered as acting like a diva.
Sheng Tang didn’t want to take that risk.
As she was drifting into sleep, the doorbell rang again.
Seeing Gu Jiahui already getting up to answer it, she continued to sleep.
She vaguely heard the voice of the producer Liu Taofang but didn’t pay much attention.
When the alarm rang, Sheng Tang had barely slept half well. She sat up, feeling refreshed, with no sign of a cold, and breathed a sigh of relief.
Gu Jiahui was sitting in the suite’s living room, working on his computer.
Sheng Tang draped her down jacket and walked over to him, "Who just came?"
"The producer."
"What did he want?"
"To bring you some cold medicine," Gu Jiahui said, "The treatment for a big star is indeed different."
Sheng Tang laughed.
She sat down beside him and laughed, "I’m not a big star, I’m an investor. Thanks to the boss’s thirty million, I’m so impressive."
Gu Jiahui was amused by her.
Honestly, staying in this kind of suite made Gu Jiahui feel a bit stifled, not as comfortable as a five-star hotel presidential suite in the city, nor as comfortable as at the apartment.
But here, he felt completely relaxed, with a continuous flow of energy entering his body.
Gu Jiahui had never experienced what that was. He privately speculated that perhaps being with Sheng Tang, this sense of comfort might just be happiness?
Defining happiness like this seemed a bit hasty.
Sheng Tang sat on the sofa, hugging her knees, and started chatting with him. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂
Talking about Cheng Lichuan, Sheng Tang asked him, "You don’t mind me taking the initiative, do you?"
"I also wanted him to move back," Gu Jiahui said truthfully, "It’s just that it’s hard to ask, after all, he has to have his own life. You speaking for me was great.
I can tell, my brother has lived in the apartment for a long time, but he still likes it here. If he can move back, he’s happy, and I’m happy too, everyone is pleased."
Sheng Tang laughed, "Then I’ve done a good deed."
When she laughed, there was a faint dimple on her left cheek, sometimes not very noticeable, sometimes very clear, adding extra sweetness to her smile.
"Indeed, you did a good deed." Gu Jiahui felt very warm inside.
The hotel’s heating was very adequate, allowing them both to feel their skin relax.
In the evening, Sheng Tang called for room service, and the meals were brought to the room for them to eat.
Ai’ai came by to ask if she needed anything else.
"I don’t need anything else, you go rest Ai’ai, I won’t be needing anything tonight." Sheng Tang said.
Ai’ai nodded, "Then I’ll go out for a walk. There’s someone I idolize filming a night scene with the neighboring crew, Ren Ying and I agreed to go have a look, it’s a good time to watch."
Ren Ying is one of the leads, a sophomore at the film academy, and particularly loves to hang out.
Because Ai’ai is Sheng Tang’s assistant, she played particularly well with Ai’ai, the two of them like little sisters.
Sheng Tang felt that Ren Ying was a smart girl, knew how to network without being annoying, admired her for that.
She nodded, allowing Ai’ai to go have fun.
