Chapter 615 – Self Care

Lux winced. Actually winced.

"...Eros came here?"

"Yes, my lord." Lyra nodded. "He has been waiting outside for approximately one hour. He mentioned Lord Asmo’s invitation."

Lux groaned and leaned back, letting his head fall against the cracked headboard behind him. Wood creaked. Barely held. Another centimeter and it would have joined the pile of casualties.

"Shit," he muttered. "That gala."

He had ignored it.

Completely.

Because he was tied up!

Lyra continued, unperturbed. "Lord Eros said he wished to make sure you were well. He mentioned you ignored Lord Asmo’s gala dinner invitation and did not respond to any follow-up messages."

Lux dragged a hand down his face. "Of course he did. Of course, he personally came."

Eros did not do subtle. If he was worried, he showed up. Loudly. In person. With opinions.

"Tell Asmo I will come meet him soon," Lux said, straightening slightly. "Soon being relative. Tell him I am... handling matters."

Lyra inclined her head. "As you wish."

"Bring the food," Lux said. "Bring the drinks. And then politely tell Eros to stay right where he is."

Lyra paused. "Politely?"

Lux smirked. "As politely as possible."

She vanished again without a sound.

Lux sat there for a moment, breathing. Feeling his pulse. Feeling the ache in his muscles that promised pleasure if pushed just a bit more. Feeling the heavy warmth still inside him, coiled and ready.

Then movement.

Naomi shifted first, groaning softly as she rolled onto her side on the couch, blanket slipping down her shoulder. Her hair was a mess, eyes half-lidded, lips swollen from earlier kisses.

"Why does it smell like... fruit and sex?" she murmured.

Lux chuckled. "Because you’re awake."

She blinked at him. Then her gaze dropped.

"...You’re still hard."

"Observant," he said dryly.

Rava stirred next. One tentacle slid lazily over the edge of the tub, dripping water onto the floor. Her eyes opened slowly, sharp even when half-asleep.

"If you break the couch," she said, voice rough and amused, "I’m billing you."

"That’s my furniture," Lux replied.

Sira groaned from the bed, shifting with a hiss as her body reminded her exactly how thoroughly she had been filled. She cracked one eye open and scowled at him.

"You look smug."

"I am smug."

She clicked her tongue. "Next time, I’m winning."

Lux leaned forward slightly, gaze locking onto hers. "You already did. You just refuse to admit the victory condition wasn’t domination."

Her scowl softened. Just a little.

Mira pushed herself upright next, dragon tail flicking lazily behind her. She sniffed the air.

"Food?" she asked immediately.

"Yes," Lux said. "Soon."

Lullaby peeked out from the pillow nest, rubbing one eye. "Can I have something sweet?"

Lux’s expression softened without him meaning to. "Always."

As if on cue, a presence pressed faintly against the wards outside. Warm. Familiar. Overwhelmingly affectionate in a way that had nothing to do with sex.

Eros.

Lux sighed, rubbing his temples. "He’s pacing, isn’t he."

Lullaby tilted her head from where she lounged half-draped over his lap, eyes still hazy from the chaos earlier. "Why is Eros even here?" she mumbled, voice sleepy-sweet. "Was he... invited?"

Lux groaned. "Asmo sent me a gala invitation, remember?"

Lullaby blinked. "Oh."

"Yeah," Lux muttered. "And I haven’t checked it. Why? Because someone—" he gestured vaguely toward all of them, "—decided tying me up to the bed was more important than checking my messages."

Naomi snorted. "You ignored it."

"I couldn’t move!"

Sira stretched her arms with a proud smirk. "And instead you fucked everyone instead."

"Also correct."

Rava snorted. "On brand."

Moments later, Lyra returned with a small procession of unseen attendants. The scent hit first. Warm bread. Roasted meat. Citrus. Sweet cream. The clink of glass. The hum of infernal enchantments.

Trays were set down carefully. Drinks glowed faintly red and gold, humming with contained energy.

Lux grabbed one immediately, downing half of it in one go. The liquid burned its way down his throat, spreading heat and clarity through his limbs.

[Infernal Electrolyte Boost Consumed]

[Hydration Restored]

[Stamina Regeneration Accelerated]

He exhaled slowly, rolling his neck. "Much better."

Lyra cleared her throat softly. "Lord Eros has requested entry."

Lux looked around the room one more time. The girls. The mess. The aftermath. The very obvious state he was still in.

Bite marks on his chest, lipstick smudges on his neck, scratches still glowing faintly with leftover mana. His hair was a wild, tousled halo of sin. The sheets were gone. The bed was still creaking from trauma. The floor? A war zone of discarded lingerie and broken pride.

Then he grinned.

"Should we let him in?"

Sira, somehow still smug despite the limp in her hips, stretched like a cat and rolled over a half-sleeping Mira. "After we wear something, maybe."

Lux waved his hand lazily. "Go ahead."

The girls moved, some groaning, some giggling, all wrecked in a way that only made them glow more.

Naomi grabbed one of Lux’s oversized shirts and pulled it on backward, buttoning it wrong.

Mira tugged her silk robe around her shoulders, not even bothering to tie it.

Ely snatched a blanket and wrapped herself like a high elf burrito.

Lullaby just yawned and stayed curled under a pillow, mumbling something about "Eros can wait" and "dream realm is comfier."

Rava slipped into her loose satin nightgown, slightly transparent, slightly daring.

And Sira? Sira just picked up her bra and threw it over her shoulder like it owed her money, grabbed Lux’s open blazer, and wore it with nothing underneath. She didn’t even try to button it.

Lux, meanwhile, simply stood up and pulled on a pair of pants.

Well. "Pulled on" was generous. He threw them on. Barely zipped.

The bulge?

Monstrously obvious.

Then he turned to the door and flicked his fingers. "Let him in."

The door opened.

Eros froze.

He took one step in, then stopped completely, eyes sweeping the scene. The broken furniture. The scattered bodies. The scent hit him full force and he grimaced.

"...You absolute menace."

Lux lifted his drink in greeting. "Hey, cousin."

Eros pinched the bridge of his nose. "You ignored Asmo, ignored me, and this is what you were doing?"

Lux shrugged. "Self care. I was dying."

Eros looked at the girls, most of whom waved or smirked or simply watched him.

"I thought you were dying. You look alive," Eros said finally. "Annoyingly so."

"Always," Lux replied.

Eros sighed. "Get dressed. Eat something. Then come with me."

Lux took another sip, eyes gleaming. "Give me ten minutes."

Eros stared at his still-hard cock. "You’re joking."

Lux smiled slow and dangerous. "No."

Naomi laughed. Rava shook her head. Sira scoffed. Mira grinned. Ely hid her face. Lullaby yawned.

Eros threw his hands up. "I swear one day you’re going to be the death of me."

Lux leaned back, aura flaring just enough to make the air warm again. "Relax. I’ll behave."

And somewhere deep in his chest, Greed purred, satisfied but eager, already counting the hours until the next round.

Eros gave him a long, skeptical look. "I’m holding you to that."

"You never learn," Lux said, tossing the last bit of his drink back. "That’s why you’re fun."

Lyra gave a shallow bow, avoiding eye contact with everyone still half-naked and glowing with afterglow. "I’ll escort Lord Eros out. I’ve also left your wardrobe ready and the infernal mirror for your grooming session."

"Perfect," Lux said. "Thank you, Lyra."

Eros turned to leave, muttering something about chaos incarnate and worse than pure Lust. Lyra followed.
