Chapter 575 – Demons Don’t Do Fragile

Sira chuckled. "This place is infernal enchanted, Ely. The whole estate. Built with demonic power, reinforced with layered wards. The kitchen alone has time compression, flame spirits, prep spells, and flavor runes."

Ely blinked. "So... everything’s enchanted?"

Sira nodded. "Probably stocked with months of preserved ingredients too. Eros may be reckless, but Lust demons don’t mess around when it comes to food and hospitality."

"But... why doesn’t Lux have something like this at his mansion?"

Sira smirked. "You’ll laugh. Lux thought he could take this vacation and act mortal. So he kept it low-key. Bare minimum enchantments. He even bought a mortal car and a mortal bike."

Ely tilted her head. "And?"

"They both got destroyed in like... two days. Now he rides infernal machines again," Sira said, smirking.

Ely winced. "Poor him."

"Poor him," Sira repeated, but with a little dramatic flair, waving a hand like she was reading from a tragic romance novel. "But honestly... infernal things do suit him more. He’s a CFO. Might as well go full power-suit and flame-chariot. Better that way."

Ely nodded slowly. "Yeah... I guess. I mean, it’s not like the mortal stuff is bad or anything—"

"No," Sira agreed. "Just fragile. And demons don’t do fragile. Like, we literally break shit just by walking too fast. Or breathing aggressively.

Ely raised both brows and pointed subtly to the side, where Lullaby was curled in her chair like a lazy, sleepy kitten in a sea of pillows. She had a spoon in one hand, a puff pastry in the other, and was currently deciding which one deserved her effort more. Her eyes blinked slowly. The pastry won.

Sira followed Ely’s finger, stared at the scene, and snorted. "Okay. Exception."

"Exception?"

"All major Sloth sin demons are exceptions. They’re like... the one sin that’s soft by nature. Like fuzzy sin. Velvet sin. Nap sin."

Ely blinked slowly. "Nap sin."

Ely looked like she wanted to face-palm but didn’t want to mess up her hair.

Eros leaned in dramatically. "Okay. Talk later. Eat first."

He clapped his hands twice.

Just like that, the dining room shimmered to life.

From the corners of the ceiling, clusters of glowing fairies fluttered into the air in a swirl of glitter, ribbons, and tiny sensual moans. They moved like synchronized dancers, glowing soft hues of peach and lavender, wings shimmering with underworld mana. The table expanded just slightly to accommodate trays, jugs, desserts, and sauces. Silver cutlery gleamed like someone had polished them with affection spells.

Ely gasped. "Oh wow. This is like something out of a fairy tale."

Azithra smiled as one of the fairies landed on her shoulder to brush her hair. "Eros built all of this for me."

"Of course I did," Eros said proudly, pouring wine like a man who believed romance should be performed at maximum volume. "I designed the entire place. From scratch. Brick by brick. With love."

Sira raised a brow. "These fairies are demons, Ely."

"Pixies," Eros corrected. "Technically. But from the underworld. I just gave them a makeover."

Ely blinked. "So you turned hell pixies into fairy tale servants?"

"Everything," Eros said, holding his glass high, "for my bride."

The food looked almost too good to eat. Almost. Charred ribs dripped with glaze. A whole platter of golden rice shimmered like it had a treasure spell on it. Roasted vegetables let out puffs of buttery steam when cut. The pastries sparkled. Literally. Like someone added edible glitter and blessed them with a sugar enchantment.

They all dug in.

Even Lullaby stirred and started nibbling between yawns.

The taste? Amazing. Perfect. Light and heavy. Spicy and sweet. Sensory heaven.

But halfway through the meal...

Sira frowned.

She shifted in her seat. Tugged her collar. Glanced around.

"Is it just me... or is this place weirdly hot?"

Lullaby paused mid-bite. "Mmmaybe because of the food? Or it’s afternoon?"

Ely looked at the glowing wall panels. "It’s not that hot outside though."

Sira pulled her hair up into a lazy twist. "I feel like I’m overheating. Is this spice enchanted? Or is the air doing something?"

Lux, who was seated calmly beside Eros, looked up from his perfectly sliced meat. "I feel nothing. Feels normal to me."

Sira stared. "You’re not even sweating."

Lux shrugged. "Normal temperature. Standard for Lust house architecture."

Eros nodded in agreement. "Yeah. This is like... medium setting. It gets way worse during mating season."

Azithra laughed softly. "Don’t traumatize them."

But the girls weren’t laughing.

They were... shifting.

Fidgeting.

Lullaby was chewing her lip.

Sira had unbuttoned two of her top buttons.

Ely’s cheeks were pink, and she kept pressing her thighs together under the table.

Lux looked at them.

Then blinked.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

Lullaby tilted her head. "I don’t know..."

Sira was staring directly at his lips.

Ely leaned forward a little too much.

Lux narrowed his eyes.

Wait.

Wait, wait.

That look.

That heat.

He sniffed the air.

He recognized that scent.

Soft. Musky. Warm. Not perfume. Not food. Scented air. It curled at the edges of the tongue and stroked the brain like silk. It was the aroma that clung to every wall of the Lust Palace back home. The ambient energy that drifted through every hallway. It was infused into the marble, the walls, the bedsheets.

Oh no. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

Oh no.

Lux’s brain clicked into panic mode.

"This scent..." he muttered.

"What scent?" Sira asked, voice a little huskier now.

"This... is Lust Palace ambient aroma. It doesn’t effect us." He pointed at himself and Eros. "But for demons who not born of Lust..."

Lullaby let out a soft sound, eyes glassy. "Wait, are you saying..."

"Yes," Lux deadpanned. "It’s basically an aphrodisiac for demons with other major sins."

Sira stared at him. "This place is rigged to seduce us?"

"Uh," Lux said. "You’re all breathing in foreplay."

Ely gasped and immediately slapped both hands over her mouth.

Lullaby blinked slowly. "That’s... actually kind of brilliant."

Sira groaned. "I knew this place was cursed."

Eros pinched the bridge of his nose. "It’s not cursed. It’s... themed."

"Sexually themed," Ely mumbled, now hiding behind a napkin.

Lullaby pouted. "I feel warm in places I shouldn’t during lunch."
