Chapter 115: Pampered king

3° person POV

"Master, would you like me to get another cup for you to wear?" a girl said with a playful smile.

Then she approached Liam, took the empty cup from his table, and as soon as he gave the order, she went to fetch another beer. As she turned to leave the room, she swayed her hips a little, her mini-skirt costume making sure to expose her butt.

"How’s the massage?" another girl asked, this one dressed in a cowgirl bodysuit that perfectly outlined every curve of her body.

The woman was really good with her fingers. Not as good as Isabel, but the delightful massage helped Liam relax after a tiring day.

And so he spent the rest of his afternoon being pampered by women in all kinds of sexy costumes, as they seemed to enjoy getting at least a little of his attention.

At first, they were more reserved, but Amelia’s permission for all of this, combined with the drinks and the playful atmosphere, made them loosen up more and more.

Of course, Liam wouldn’t complain. In fact, he was loving the scene. Although it was a shame that none of his girlfriends were with him.

Lilith was apparently with Amelia, and the two hadn’t arrived yet, as Sophia had to visit her brother in the hospital first, and they offered to accompany her.

After dropping her off there, they had to wait for Helena to give them a ride to the sexy party that was happening to celebrate the championship. That is, if they arrived in time.

Yasmin, who had just arrived, couldn’t contain her smile seeing the victory celebration. Hardly anyone could think of a way she would enjoy celebrating a victory more.

Perhaps just a big orgy. Thinking about it, maybe telling them about the harem and the relationship Liam had with Amelia wouldn’t be so bad after all.

Of course, the brunette wouldn’t take the initiative to do that, as it wasn’t her problem. The only thing she did was join in the fun, choosing to wear the sexiest Playboy bunny costume she could find.

The girls around her complimented her, while she also helped serve Liam, who at that point was absolutely in paradise.

That said, she also took advantage of a random moment to whisper what she had discovered into Liam’s ear.

The boy, upon hearing that the woman’s name was Alice, immediately thought about opening his fourth quest, so he found this:

A complicated smile formed on his face. On one hand, he had finally discovered who the mysterious woman was. On the other hand, things had started off on the wrong foot.

She had probably seen Liam with Yasmin and, because of that, thought of him as unfaithful. That was why her trust was so low. Because of this, he likely had no choice but to tell the girl the truth.

He sighed a little, then grabbed his phone and asked Yasmin to give him the girl’s Instagram. He would probably need to arrange a meeting with her to explain everything.

Liam sent a follow request, and she quickly accepted. After just a few messages, he convinced her to go out with him, they would visit a café together.

He was surprised at how easy it had been, but he didn’t dwell on it too much. Maybe she just wanted to talk and clear up any misunderstandings.

Or perhaps she wanted to confront him and understand the situation better. She must have been upset, after all, she thought Liam was cheating on one of her friends. Or at least, that’s what he assumed she was feeling.

"Is everything okay?" one of the girls asked, noticing that their ’king’ was lost in thought.

Liam made a few comments to put them at ease, then said he had to go, unfortunately, he couldn’t enjoy the party any longer.

Why? The reason lay in what had happened before he even arrived at the party in the first place.

As soon as Liam finished dealing with the fight, they called an ambulance. Then the girls started discussing how they would celebrate the championship they had won.

First, Liam called Amelia, who agreed over the phone, saying it was a special day, so she could forgive a lot of things. However, he obviously couldn’t kiss any of them or do anything like that.

The girls just thought that was an absolutely natural demand from a girlfriend. But the real reason Amelia said that was because she knew it would be impossible to stop at just a kiss, and she wanted to avoid chaos.

Then, the girls called and messaged the few team members who weren’t there, as well as other friends, to join the party.

Additionally, by coincidence, Sophia was already with Amelia, so as soon as she found out about her brother’s situation, which made her mentally celebrate, she also received an invitation to the party, which she declined.

"You’re always surrounded by women, huh?" It was then that Seraphina, carrying Luca in her arms, appeared.

"Why are you here?" Feeling a shiver of fear run through his body, the boy asked.

Luca was the one who gave the reason, explaining that he wanted to cheer for his older sister Amelia. Then the boy continued excitedly, talking about the game and how much he liked her.

Apparently, the girl had done a fantastic job replacing Liam. And in just one day with him, she managed to surpass him in the hierarchy of that little boy’s love.

Seraphina was obviously a bit annoyed with Liam’s disappearance, but she also praised him for finding someone so good at taking care of children. In her mind, Amelia was no longer one of Liam’s girlfriends, but someone he was testing to help him with the playroom.

This misunderstanding had been deliberately created by Helena, who wanted to help the boy increase Seraphina’s trust in him. And from what she had observed, things related to her nephew seemed very effective.

Still, she reminded Liam that he needed to deal with the bureaucracy to start the project soon. At that moment, he froze again; he hadn’t had the time or remembered to ask Lilith how the conversation with the condominium owner went.

That said, once again Helena came to the boy’s rescue, explaining that everything was fine. Then she showed a contract on her phone, saying that if the woman approved, construction would start on Monday. In other words, the next day.

Seeing this, she smiled and said that Liam deserved some rest. But since Luca missed seeing him and she wanted to discuss some things, she made him promise to come to her house by seven in the evening.

Therefore, Liam needed to leave the party early at that moment, even though he didn’t want to.

Alice walked slowly through the almost deserted streets, her head down as she made her way home. She could only sigh.

She had found out that the volleyball team had planned a party to celebrate their victory that day. But no one had remembered to invite her.

"Now that I’m no longer the best player, they have no reason to remember me..." The blonde, who had always struggled to make friends, could only acknowledge this with frustration.

And the jealousy she felt toward Amelia only grew. Right now, her boyfriend was at the center of the party, while she was heading back to her cold, empty home.

When she arrived, Alice opened the door carefully, as if she didn’t want to disturb the silence that usually filled the place. But instead, she found herself in the middle of a heated argument between her parents.

"You promised you would stop gambling!" Her mother’s voice—Harper—was firm but carried the exhaustion of someone who had nearly given up.

The blonde MILF had done everything she could to somehow fix her marriage after discovering she was being cheated on. She was loyal and believed that marriage was something that should never be broken, but she was at her limit.

No matter what she did, her husband never seemed to pay attention to her. And to make things worse, he had started gambling. It was a habit he had picked up recently—more specifically, after the party.

For some reason, he had been more stressed and tense since then, almost as if he were paranoid and afraid of something. But he never spoke about what it was.

Alice watched the scene and sighed with a hint of sadness but said nothing. She quickly went up to her room, closed the door behind her, and left the argument behind. She wanted to pretend none of it existed.

Lying on her bed, Alice stared at the ceiling, trying to ignore the storm of emotions overwhelming her. Her exclusion from the team, her parents’ fights, and the growing feeling of isolation seemed to suffocate her.

That was when her phone vibrated.

Unlocking the screen, she saw that Liam wanted to follow her. She quickly accepted. At that moment, her heart raced as she focused her mind on her plan to expose him. She just wanted to forget everything else and believe that by bringing Amelia down, things would get better.

The two exchanged messages briefly, and the boy had already invited her out. She quietly celebrated, thinking that Liam seemed to already be enchanted by her.

Alice was certain she could steal Amelia’s boyfriend with ease.
