Rong Xian smiled at Chief Xie. He could see the panic in the eyes of the chief, and given what his aide had said to her the last time, he knew why this woman was so worried.

"Why are you so worried, Chief Xie?" Rong Xian walked inside the cave, as the sea guards parted and stood on each side of the cave. He glanced at Ruan Chanchan with a hint of curiosity in his eyes, which turned into surprise when he saw the face of the woman. He did hear Zhai Rongyu say that the woman was really beautiful. But he never thought that the woman was this beautiful. She looked so pretty that Rong Xian felt that after one look, it was impossible to look away.

Ruan Chanchan also noticed that someone was looking at her. She turned her attention to Rong Xian and her eyes widened in surprise. Ah, no wonder that her brother kept saying that this mer was more beautiful than any other mer that he had ever seen. He was truly so good-looking; the more she looked at him, the more she realised that this mer looked like a celestial. With wavy cotton candy hair and siren eyes, he looked simply enchanting. The charm that his eyes exuded was simply regal.

She could feel a surge of doing something impressive. Something admirable that would make the mer look at her with a smile.

They knew that this woman was not someone who would take any kind of bullshit from anyone, but they never thought that she would be so daring that she would even call the prince out. Was she not worried that this mer would kill her for offending him?

The two nervously stared at Rong Xian, who was looking at Ruan Chanchan with an amused smirk on his lips. And even though Ruan Chanchan taunted him, the mer didn’t seem the slightest bit bothered. He neither bothered nor smiled at her. He simply said, "I came here to thank you."

Chief Xie and Priestess Yuan turned to look at Ruan Chanchan in surprise. They never thought that the prince would actually come to thank Ruan Chanchan personally. After all, the arrogance of the prince of killer whales was known all over the beast tribe.

"I heard from Rongyu that you were the one who saved my life," said Rong Xian. "he told me that you used some kind of weird skills to save my life...which made me bleed even more." He paused and added, "I do hope that you had a very good idea about how precious my blood is when you came up with that idea."

"More than your life?" Ruan Chanchan innocently asked as she tilted her head to one side. When Rong Xian frowned at her, she said to him in a low voice, "I don’t know whether you know this... but you were on your last breath when I saved your motherfucking life, so you better—"

Ruan Chanchan was still speaking when Chief Xie hurriedly reached out and covered her mouth with her hand. She smiled at the prince flatteringly and said to him, "Ahaha, what she wants to say is that we are glad that you are doing better, your highness."

However, Rong Xian acted as if he didn’t hear what the woman was saying to him. He paused and added, "What’s more, I saw what happened today."
