Chapter 70: Fame

Shin arrived at Ange’s house with Eva’s Ferrari.

However, to his surprise, three girls were waiting for him.

Seeing Ana there wasn’t surprising. He knew the two girls were cousins and lived in the same house. But he had no idea why Aiko was there.

"Hey, stud, you’re late!" Ana said with a bright smile before adding, "You shouldn’t keep beautiful girls like us waiting."

Shin blinked, caught off guard. Was he really taking all three of them on a date? Judging by the way they were walking toward his car, that seemed to be the case.

He had no idea what was happening, but he knew better than to act surprised. Instead, he smiled and eyed Ana from top to bottom.

She wore her usual micro shorts and a top that resembled something made of chainmail. Eva had at least informed the boy that they were going to a medieval fair or something like that, so Shin could assume Ana was trying to dress for the occasion.

And to Shin’s astonishment, her little perky tits were actually protected by a bra. He never thought he would see Ana actually wearing one.

But she probably had no choice given the situation. Not wearing a bra would leave her nipples completely visible, after all, the top barely offered any cover. And that would probably infringe upon the event’s regulations.

"So, what do you think?" Ana turned around, noticing Shin’s gaze.

"It looks good on you," he murmured, getting out of the car and opening the front door.

However, Ana didn’t seize her opportunity to slip into the seat. Instead, she looked over her shoulder for Aiko, who was hiding behind Ange.

The trio had actually already decided a few things among themselves. They didn’t want to compete with each other and just cause harm. So instead, they would solve all their disputes with games.

Who got the front seat, for example, was decided by a competition of who could hold her breath the longest.

Ana was very confident in her ability to hold her breath for almost three minutes, but Aiko completely blew the competition away.

"Hey, don’t try to hide!" Ana purred, which prompted Ange to step aside and push Aiko to the front of the stage. "So, stud, what do you think of her clothes?" Ana turned her gaze to Shin.

Meanwhile, Aiko, blushing furiously, also turned around for Shin’s appreciation.

Her outfit was actually something made for the occasion. After all, she really liked fantasy/medieval stories.

She wore a deep burgundy corset top laced tightly at the front, pushing her small breasts up while leaving her toned stomach completely bare.

Below, instead of the traditional long skirt, she wore a short matching wrap skirt that barely reached mid-thigh, with a daring slit up the side that revealed glimpses of her hip with every movement.

The skirt sat low on her waist, emphasizing the curve of her hips and the truly impressive swell of her ass. And a simple gust of wind was enough to give Shin a view of the cute pink panties she wore.

When she faced him again, she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear nervously, unable to meet his eyes.

"You don’t need to feel so embarrassed, it looks fantastic on you," she said with a smile.

Aiko looked down, feeling even more embarrassed. Still, she couldn’t stop smiling, her heart racing crazily. She was happy because he had praised her.

"But I’m the only one wearing weird clothes..." Aiko murmured.

Just beside her, Ange was dressed in normal clothes. She wore a white top that gave a generous amount of cleavage and left one shoulder bare. Below, her jeans hugged her hips, emphasizing her sexy curves.

She had clearly dressed in the best clothes she owned. And she definitely didn’t look like someone going to a medieval event.

"You don’t need to worry about it, you look really cute," Ange tried to reassure the girl for the thousandth time that day.

"Hey! I also tried to look medieval!" Ana chimed in.

"Your outfit barely counts," Shin said with a smug smile. Then he turned to Ange. "By the way, you also look very cute."

Ange blushed too, ducking her head as a small smile formed on her lips.

"Alright, ladies," Shin announced, gesturing toward the car. "Should we get going? The fair won’t wait forever."

Ana immediately bounced toward the passenger door, then stopped herself with an exaggerated sigh. "Fine, fine. Aiko earned it." She opened the rear door instead and slid inside.

Ange followed, settling into the back seat beside Ana, while Aiko nervously approached the front. She paused with her hand on the door handle, glancing back at her friends for reassurance. Ana gave her an enthusiastic thumbs-up.

Aiko slipped into the passenger seat. The leather was cool against her bare midriff, and she quickly fastened her seatbelt, keeping her hands folded in her lap.

Shin started the engine, the Ferrari purring to life as he pulled away from Ange’s house. The drive to the park was short but filled with Ana’s chatter.

Soon enough, the park came into view. Banners in rich jewel tones fluttered from temporary posts, and the sound of lively music drifted through the air. A simple rope barrier separated the fair from the regular park grounds, with a small ticket booth at the entrance.

Shin found parking nearby, and the four of them walked toward the entrance together. A small sign indicated the entry fee and the line they should follow.

As they got in line, Aiko glanced around at the crowd. To her relief, she noticed that roughly thirty percent of the people were wearing some form of costume or cosplay. She relaxed visibly, no longer feeling so self-conscious about her outfit.

"Hey, by any chance, are you Shin?" Then, out of nowhere, the man in front of them asked.

He was a tall guy, almost as tall as Shin, with long black hair. He wore an elven cosplay that looked good on him. Well, he was good-looking, so anything probably looked good on him.

Shin blinked in confusion. He had definitely never seen that man anywhere before. Besides, he didn’t recognize him from the game either.

"Something happened, love?" Another man chimed in. He was even taller, with broad shoulders and a very muscular frame.

Then the muscular guy saw Shin, and his eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Wait, are you Shin?" He also asked.

"Yes..." Shin answered uncomfortably, completely unaware of how both men knew him.

Ange and Aiko were talking among themselves and didn’t pay attention to the situation. Meanwhile, Ana approached Shin, hugging his left arm.

"Oh wow, it really is you!" the muscular guy exclaimed happily. "You’re the one from the news! The student who helped catch a criminal group."

Hearing that, Shin was even more shocked. Could they be talking about the Karaoke incident? But why would his face be on the news?

"What are you talking about?" He asked.

Meanwhile, Ana laughed softly. "Have you been living under a rock?" she purred. "Your face is everywhere on the news."

Ana quickly took out her phone to show Shin multiple news articles on the internet. None of the girls’ faces were shown, however Shin was on the cover of all the headlines.

There were multiple posts about how he acted like a hero. However, the most problematic part was that several posts mentioned the fact that he was a Chosen One of this year and had used his system to save the girl.

They were already comparing him to Hiroto, and some were saying he would be the greatest Japanese Chosen One of this generation.

Shin clenched his fist. Maybe one of Yumemi’s other friends had told the police about it, and somehow it ended up with him becoming famous.

This could turn out to be somewhat problematic. Being famous came with advantages, but also disadvantages.

Anyway, he turned his attention to the gay couple that was happily speaking with him. Apparently, one of the girls saved, thanks to him, was the sister of a close friend of theirs.

"I’m Jun," the burly, big man introduced himself with a big smile as he offered a handshake.

Shin accepted and was surprised by Jun’s firm grip. Of course, Shin responded in kind, matching the pressure with his own steady handshake.

"Oh! I like you!" Jun murmured approvingly.

"And I’m Yuji," the other guy added with an easy grin. As he chatted cheerfully with Shin, several girls shot unmistakable glares in their direction.

Yuji, of course, paid them no mind, but his good looks were clearly drawing more than a little attention.

"You two should come with us," Yuji suggested warmly, gesturing toward the fair entrance. "We’ve been coming to this event for years. We know all the best spots, the good food, the fun games, and the shows worth watching. Let us show you around."

Before Shin could respond, Ange finally noticed the conversation and stepped forward, curious about the handsome strangers talking to Shin.

She hugged Shin’s left arm and said, "We’re on a sort of date, actually."

Yuji waved his hand reassuringly. "Don’t worry, I’m also on a date." He rested his hand affectionately on Jun’s muscular arm.

Jun’s eyes lit up with playful curiosity as he glanced between Ange and Aiko. "Oh? So it’s a double date then?" He smiled warmly at the two girls. "You two make a lovely couple."

Aiko’s face immediately turned crimson. Her mouth opened, but no words came out.

Before either girl could correct him, Ana bounced forward, still clinging to Shin’s right arm. "Actually, we’re all on a date together!" she announced cheerfully.

Then, without hesitation, she rose on her tiptoes and pressed her lips firmly against Shin’s.

When she pulled back, she smiled brightly at the stunned couple. "We’re all in love with him," she explained simply.

Aiko looked like she wanted the earth to swallow her whole. She stared at the ground, her face burning so intensely it could have cooked an egg. Ange, meanwhile, just sighed with a mixture of exasperation and amusement.

Jun’s eyebrows shot upward, then a wide, impressed grin spread across his face. "Youngs these days..." he commented, shaking his head slowly.

His eyes then fell on Shin with newfound respect. "You’re quite a man, bringing so many girls on one date," he laughed loudly, slapping Shin on the shoulder with enough force to make a lesser man stumble.
