"Yu Cheng, he was a student in my mother's academy," Ji Chuan sat up straight crossed his arms and said to Yu Tong, "Last night he rescued me from some thugs and my mother wants me to marry that man. As if! That man had always looked so lecherously at me. Every time we met he stared at me as if he wanted to gobble me whole.

For me to believe that the man actually saved my life at the cost of his hands, I do not believe it!"

He paused and then turned to look at Yu Tong before saying, "You are also surnamed Yu, right? Are you related to him?"

Yu Tong did not say anything instead she raised her hand and rubbed her forehead, she had a feeling that Yu Cheng had done something useless again. It wasn't that she was cruel enough to ignore the plight of her younger brother but that man was simply too restless and selfish for his own good.

What was more Ji Chuan was right about one thing. There was no way Yu Cheng would save Ji Chuan at a dangerous cost for no reason.

Yu Tong's expression turned serious as she stood up from the chair on which she was sitting, she looked at Ji Chuan and said to him, "You can take the small room at the back of the bar. I usually stay there but I will be returning home today."

As Yu Tong wanted to build a house next to the Yu house as soon as possible, she had been spending more and more time in the town.

She didn't even remember the last time when she went to the town.

'Ugh, I hope that idiot is not riding a tiger again this time,' Yu Tong felt her head throb. She knew Yu Cheng better than anyone and understood his personality very well. That man looked like he was spoiled and rotten but he had his own strengths as well.

"We will collect earthworms today!" Yu Mai said to the rest of the children in the crowd as he raised his small hand that was holding a mini bucket in it.

"Earthworms? Why should we collect them??" One of the mers assked Yu Mai.

"Because the chicks in my house have hatched and there are lots of chicks so you can take a few," Yu Mai answered with a little troubled smile.

Actually what happened was ——

'Oh, Bo Bo, you can hatch chicks just by holding the eggs?' Yu Mai, who also witnessed the magical scene, was rather impressed by it.

He then went looking for Bo Bo later on in the afternoon with a bucket of eggs. And that bucket contained more than fifty eggs.

'Bo Bo! Uncle is here to see you,' Yu Mai announced as he entered the room where Bo Bo was lying in the cot along with Yu Jin.

'Booo?' The little mer turned his head to the side to look at Yu Mai with a look of confusion on his face as he blinked his grape-like eyes.

'Bo Bo! Show uncle how you hatched the chick from the egg. Uncle likes chicks a lot! A lot more than candies because chicks grow up into chickens and we can eat them,' Yu Mai slurped as he handed the egg to Bo Bo.

After three hours ….

'KYAAA! Mai what did you do!

In the end by the time he stopped ——

The room was filled with fifty chicks!

This happened after Yu Dong already sent a hundred chicks to the livestock farm which meant that another fifty chicks were impossible to be placed. If they somehow did send the chicks, they would have to build chicken coops and whatnot.

The farm did not have the labour force to raise another fifty chicks. So they could only let the villagers take a few.

However, Yu Mai did not want to share the chicks for nothing, so he came up with a plan to make his friends hunt for earthworms.
