But Ki Gayoon knew that 17 couldn’t do that when Jericho— his Guide— was inside the building, along with the patients that Noh Yuno had saved before.

With that, 17 gained his respect.

I would have done the same if Noh Yuno were here.

Anyway, Ki Gayoon created thick walls of dirts to protect 17.

And then he snapped his fingers again— summoning all the metals around him to create a lightning rod.

Then the gigantic lightning bolt got sucked into the earth, and then dispersed.

After that, Ki Gayoon pointed a finger at Song Heejin.

In just the blink of an eye, hundreds of stone spikes emerged from the ground and flew towards ’Mama’ all at the same time.

He didn’t expect to kill Song Heejin with just that attack, of course.

He knew that the stone spikes he threw were useless against the witch.

Hence, Ki Gayoon was about to fly towards Song Heejin for a close-combat attack.

However, he stopped when he felt something slimy wrap itself around his ankle.

When he looked down, he furrowed his brows when he saw what seemed like a pink slime wrapped around his ankle and was now crawling up his leg.

Ew, disgusting.

Ki Gayoon tried to grab the pink slime, but he stopped dead in his tracks when he felt it.

This damned thing is guiding me?!

I’M SUDDENLY pissed.

Yuno didn’t know why, but he suddenly felt like he wanted to punch something while chilling in one of the lounge areas at the Esper Association HQ.

That was where Ki Gayoon had left him before he disappeared to save 17.

"Yuyu, are you alright?"

"Sajangnim, how are Manager Lee and Dalsik-nim?" Yuno asked worriedly when Moon Noa and Haru visited him at the lounge area. "Are they awake?"

"No, not yet," Moon Noa said while shaking his head. "But Lee Woonhak-ssi is already monitoring their condition. Rest assured, Lee Haerin and Yang Dalsik-nim are both out of danger now, all thanks to you, Yuyu."

Yuno was relieved to hear that.

It’s all worth it, then.

"Yuyu, do you know how busy the Esper Association and the National Guide Bureau are at the moment?"

Oh, right.

Sajangnim is acting as the head of the National Guide Bureau now.

"Everyone wants a piece of you, Yuyu," Moon Noa said teasingly, but it was obvious in the older Guide’s eyes that he was serious.
