A rank 4 godclad was held back by a rank 3 godclad. It was a funny sight to Sir Bushwick but it was a matter of life and death for Captain Sheckel.

The only divine ability she could use now was her rank 2 divine ability, Eyes of Sin. But this is a divine ability used for appraisals. It is harmless without the Fire of Sin divine ability.

Charles also doesn't have any offensive divine ability. The best he could do was fight with his physical strength.

Since the two of them only had their physical strength to fight with and were fairly equal, they could only be in a stalemate.

While the two main fighters were in a stalemate, the rank 3 warrior from the side of the nobles began to fight with the rank 3 traveler from the side of the lamp bearers.

The rank 3 traveler had actually left Captain Sheckel and flanked Charles's knights in order to kill them. She wanted to kill them because when they are all dead, Charles will lose the support for his fake strength.

So the rank 3 warrior stepped forward to stop the rank 3 traveler. Unfortunately, despite being more powerful, the rank 3 warrior couldn't block the travel. The traveler was just too fast.

The traveler was able to avoid the warrior while trying to kill the knights with the foil in her hands. The foil was thin and light. When combined with her speed, she can thrust the foil quickly and impale people before they could react.

Unfortunately for her, a foil is a poor weapon against plate armor. She could try to find vulnerable spots in their armor to insert her foil into.

Things began to get bad for her when the knights formed a ring and surrounded her. The knights formed a ring that sealed off her escape routes. It was only she and the warrior in the ring.

She has succeeded in distracting the knights and stopping them from killing the vulnerable lamp bearers, but it is unlikely that she will be able to hold them off for long.

But while this was going on, Black Knife finally began to make his move. He was a rank 3 assassin who could use the power of darkness to boost his power in the midst of nine rank 1 godclads. The outcome of this clash was set.

The lamp bearers didn't stand a chance against the assassin with an effective physical power close to that of rank 4. Black Knife was able to easily behead them with his rank 3 Shadow Blade. But he was not happy about it at all.

He complained inwardly, "At least put up a decent fight so that I can use it to be incompetent. At this rate, I will kill all of you in less than 20 seconds."

He was a whirlwind of black blades. He couldn't be seen clearly, but where he went, heads fell to the ground.

Not even the rank 3 judge could stop him. The poor man didn't have his Shackles divine ability, so he couldn't stop Black Knife. His head fell to the ground after crossing blades with Black Knife for three seconds.

The sight of a sergeant dying terrified the remaining lamp bearers. The will to fight of the lamp bearers fell to zero because they became scared.

The lamp bearers scattered and tried to escape from him. But they were still too slow to escape the terrible darkness.

As things were, the nine lamp bearers were doomed, the rank 3 traveler was going to be doomed soon, and Captain Sheckel could do nothing about it.

Sir Bushwick, who was standing off to the side, saw this clearly and couldn't be happier. He knew that he was going to win, but the sight of his impending victory was still too stimulating to him.

"Finally, I shall be rid of this parasite who does nothing useful except take what is mine and give it to others."

He knew that the war had only just begun. As he told Captain Shackel, this fight is just the beginning. But he was still excited to win this fight, as it signifies the beginning of the possible freedom of the Ivory family from the yokes of the lamp bearers.

He grinned confidently and returned his gaze to Captain Sheckel's meaningless struggle against the knight.

The sight made him chuckle and say, "What a spectacle. The judge and the knight, both pathways of the god of justice, are fighting each other to the death."

He has read a lot of books, so he knows that the god of justice was a knight first. It was said that the god of justice started out as a bastard of a noble family. That was the reason why he wasn't killed when he first became a knight.

At that time in history, knights were highly hated by the nobles. Knights were bandits who gained power from the people and used that power against the nobles.

Knights liked to incite the people against the nobles, so nobles liked to kill any knight that appeared. The god of justice wasn't killed because his father wanted to indulge him.

They indulged the god of justice like a master would indulge a pet. That turned out to be a bad idea.

The God of Justice gained great power and used it against the people. Fortunately, his wings were clipped early. His army was destroyed, and his subordinates were killed disgracefully.

Unfortunately, because he was of noble blood, they didn't kill the god of justice immediately. They imprisoned him, which gave him time to get in touch with the divine flesh of the pathway of justice and assimilate it.

Many people won't risk assimilating the divine flesh of a second pathway, but he was desperate and ready to die for what he believed in.

Lucky for him, his determination was rewarded with more power. He succeeded in assimilating that divine flesh and went on to become the divine nuisance that he is today.
