Greatest Streamer System-Chapter 367 - – Speaking or Typing, Chat is Chat
"Ah! That's Breeze!"
"Breeze?! Where? Where is he?"
"I am on the same team as Breeze?! Tsk! I can't kill him then!"
Unexpectedly, there were many of them. These people immediately swarmed him. At just a glance, there were around 40 people who recognized him and were probably his viewers.
"Hey, guys! Back away! We become the center of attention."
He tried to calm down the crowd, but couldn't. They had too much energy. However, not all of them were like that. He could see some viewers trying to calm them down. They were FreakingNoob and LovelyOtter, two of his earliest viewers.
The energy from other viewers was too much, though, so they were unable to do anything.
Max looked around, trying to get some help. He saw other streamers were also squirmed by a crowd, although not as large as him. They would be unable to help then.
'I have no choice.'
"Whoever doesn't back away in 3 seconds will be banned permanently!" Max spoke loudly, to the verge of shouting. "3…2…–"
Just as he counted, the viewers backed away and stood still. Their names were visible on top of their heads, so they were afraid that they would get banned. That was one way to ruin their fun. Unable to access chat while watching a livestream was pretty harsh of a punishment!
— lolol, the threat worked
— Of course. Most of them are probably active in the chat, so they are afraid to get banned
— Ah! I recognize some of their names. FreakingNoob. LovelyOtter. And there is that BloodAxe guy!
— They are pretty lucky. Sad me to meet a full server
— Their fingers are really fast lols
The chat moved slower than usual, probably because most active chatters had managed to join the server. And by luck, most of them had joined Max's team.
Holding off a sigh, he looked at roughly 40 people in front of him. FreakingNoob let out a sigh. He was a man with slightly long brown hair. When their eyes met, he offered a slight nod and an awkward smile.
While LovelyOtter waved her hand at him with a smile. They had met once before in the MidnightHeist, but this was the first time Max saw her face. She was unexpectedly a little bit cute and had a chubby cheek, the type that people wanted to fondle and pinch.
Looking at them, a thought flashed in his mind.
'The two of them might become good moderators. The way they tried to calm those ruffians is pretty good, although they have no power to stop them. Give them power and they will be perfect.'
He would definitely contact them later.
For now…
"Alright, this is good. Peace is good, don't you think so? Look at the other streamers. Their crowd is pretty chill, unlike you guys." He said, turning to the people a bit away from them.
The crowd followed his gaze. There, the other streamers were talking to their fans with a pretty chill tone. They seemed to have a nice conversation with each other.
'How nice.'
However, when he said that, Max noticed that their crowd had no more than 5 people. Compared to his… He looked at his crowd once again and they smiled smugly.
"It seems the leader is decided."
"Naah, no way they will be leaders when almost 50% of the team will follow Breeze without question."
"Yeah, this is an easy game."
"Commander! Tell us what we need to do!"
For some reason, the viewers were proud. Their confidence shot up immediately, and they became the center of attention at once. Everyone looked in their direction.
"Haa… I have to talk to the other streamers first about the leader position. I can't just claim I am the leader just because there are many of you guys here, no?" Max said, pretending to be a good individual although he never planned to follow this leader.
Once again, the image was important for a streamer.
"Wait here for a minute, guys. Let me talk to them."
As soon as he said that and walked away, the crowd began to salute at him like a soldier.
"Yes, leader!"
"Got it, commander!"
"You can count on us!"
Hearing them, Max became embarrassed and muttered.
"This is Viking's Era and not the military era, idiots!"
— lol
— Chat or VR, they never change lol
— These guys are hilarious. I wonder whether I would be like them if I meet Breeze kekeke
— This is too funny. I can't imagine they bring their chat behavior even when they are speaking directly kekw
Seeing Max and some guys approaching, the other streamers decided to stop their fan service and gathered.
"You have quite a crowd." One of the five female streamers in the team said as she looked at Max. "How many are there? 40? 41? Wow, that's almost half of this team."
"Of course. That's the rising star, Breeze." Another streamer, a bald man with a tribal tattoo on his head spoke. He extended his hand toward Max. "It's nice to meet you. I have seen some of your clips and your Synchronization Test video. My streamer name is Bald13Tattoo."
"It's nice to meet you." He shook his hand with him and the other streamers.
Surprisingly, 15 out of 20 streamers recognized him through clips, videos, livestream, or the billboard that showed up in the past.
They talked about small things for a while before Max decided to move into the main topic.
"We have to choose a leader, right? What should we do about this?"
"At first, I was about to suggest a vote, but…" Bald13Tattoo looked at the viewers who acted like soldiers standing a bit away from them. They looked at them intensely, with stares that could even make grown men scared. "I think you will be a good leader, Breeze. I will trust your skill."
The streamers who knew his feat also agreed. The first girl who spoke earlier seemed to disagree, but her voice was overruled by how many people already agreed for Max to be the leader.
Max was troubled by the trust and judgemental eyes he received. He turned around to see his viewers either rubbing their noses or smiling smugly.
'These guys. They must've done something that makes the baldie suggest that I be the leader.'
The expectation he received from the streamers didn't wane. They seemed to genuinely believe he would be a good leader.
'I don't want to, though.'
Holding off a sigh, Max decided to agree.
"Well, please take care of me."
And the viewers in his team cheered and chanted his name.
"BLOOD!"
"Give us blood!"
"Kill them all! It's massacre time!"
"Wohooo! This is fun!"
"Breeze! Breeze! Breeze!"
"Long live Breeze!"
"Commander Breeze!"
Hearing their energetic shout, Max couldn't help but get embarrassed.
"Somehow… Sorry."
