Greatest Streamer System-Chapter 160 - – Ad Concept
They were seated around a long table, sitting across from each other. Max sat beside Michael while the sponsor sat alone with a man in a suit standing behind her. It seemed like he was her assistant.
After they were all seated, the sponsor introduced herself.
"Once again, it's nice to meet the gentleman from Biozone Entertainment and Breeze. My name is Talia Clark, the board director and marketing director of NoFeet, and behind me is my assistant, Patrick Harris."
"It's nice to meet you." The assistant greeted them with his hand on his chest.
The sponsor, Talia, looked at Max with a smile.
"Without further ado, let's talk about the idea of the ad shooting. We are interested after watching your video called parkour. The concept is unique, getting chased by security while running in 1st PoV. We're thinking of replicating it while changing the concept slightly. What do you think."
Max listened quietly and nodded. So, they indeed knew the importance of the story in an ad and a video. He didn't need to explain it to them.
"I think that's a good idea." He said, smiling at the middle-aged woman. "May I know what kind of concept we have in mind?"
"Of course, dear. Our new product is called Funzy. It's a running shoe with a unique design that's trendy in design and comfortable to use." Talia explained, showing a hologram screen with the shoe design turning around slowly on the screen.
The shoes were unique, indeed. It had a thick sole and a bulky design. When Max laid his eyes on it, he had one thought.
'This will be hard.'
Those weren't shoes that were suited for parkour use at all. First of all, it definitely had almost no grip because of the smooth surface of the soles. It might have had a good cushion from the thick sole, but it probably wasn't flexible at all.
Unknown to Max's feelings and dismay, Talia continued.
"The designer of these shoes called this innovative and unique. We tested it in a running simulation, and it's light and comfortable. Compared to other running shoes, we are confident we can up them to a level. It embodies style, comfort, and the future of footwear."
The explanation seemed finished as the woman looked at Max and Michael with sparkly eyes, waiting for them to react.
As no question was asked, Max kept silent and left everything to Michael. The suited man also knew it was his job and responded immediately.
"That's amazing. The design is indeed unique, and I would certainly be interested in buying these shoes."
"Right?"
Talia's face sparkled. Her business smile widened from ear to ear. She honestly thought the shoe design was great.
"Our target buyers are teenagers and young adults. We believe the style would suit them. And so, after knowing the shoes, let's talk about the video concept we have in mind."
Another screen popped up above the table. It was a two-way screen, so both sides could see it. Written on the screen was the video idea that NoFeet had in mind.
"We hired Director Hugo to shoot our ad this time. As you know, he's famous for creating sports movies and ads, so we can trust him." She smiled proudly, showing off NoFeet Company's financial and connection power.
Max only smiled and showed an amazed face, even though he wasn't amazed at all. He didn't really care about that. He only wanted to know what his job was and the concept.
"We have shared this concept of 'playing with friends' with him, and he said it's a good idea. However, when we showed him your parkour video, he said he needed to talk with you before thinking of the whole video idea. Also, due to the location of the shooting, he said we needed to change the concept slightly."
'I agree with the director.' He thought but didn't say it out loud. 'Playing with friends can be shot in the playground or streets. We are in a Tag House, so it's better if the concept is training with friends. The location is perfect for that.'
He looked at Talia. She stayed silent and waited for his opinion. Michael also didn't say anything this time, as it was related to the video and not the company.
"As the chosen actor, I will do my best to deliver. If talking to the Director will allow us to get the best result, then I don't mind."
The important thing was that he could do parkour in real life and get paid. No matter what the concept was, he would deliver his best. After all, 27 grands was a lot of money!
"That's great. You're a good young man." Talia laughed; her expression suddenly changed into an amused one.
Once again, Max was caught off guard and looked confused. Why did she suddenly laugh? This woman was strange.
Noticing his gaze, Talia composed herself.
"My apologies. Usually, a streamer is arrogant and wants everything to go their way. They usually refuse directly if they aren't satisfied with the conditions and the product. That's a shame, and 5 streamers have refused us after they saw the shoes design. But you… You're different."
"Thank you very much?" Max said, feeling himself complimented. But was that really a compliment? He was not sure.
"You're welcome." The middle-aged woman said.
At that moment, the assistant leaned closer to her ears after glancing at his smartwatch.
"Mrs. Clark. It's time." Patrick whispered.
"Oh, it's already that late?" She whispered back, glancing at her assistant.
She turned back to Max and Michael, closing all the floating screens.
"My apologies. I have another meeting with the other shareholders after this. For the details, please talk with Director Hugo tomorrow. I trust his decision and skills." She said, standing up.
Max and Michael also stood up after her.
"Well then, have a nice day, gentlemen."
With that, Talia left the room with her assistant in tow. When they left, Max turned to Michael.
