Greatest Legacy of the Magus Universe-Chapter 765: Founder’s Journals
The bottom of the hierarchy within the Twilight Brotherhood consisted of Rank 1 - Mana Foundation Magi, known as Acolytes.
They were responsible for preserving arcane knowledge. Their main goal was to deepen their magical studies, and not many dangerous missions were given to them by the higher-ups.
Above them were the Rank 2 - Mana Liquefaction Magi, known as Agents.
They carried missions of surveillance, reconnaissance, and inflitration. They were considered as field agents and were the backbone of the organization.
Directly above them were the Rank 3 - Mana Vortex Magi, known as Twilight Wardens or simply Wardens.
Although all Wardens within the Twilight Brotherhood were Mana Vortex Magi, not all Mana Vortex Magi were Wardens.
Those who wanted to become Wardens not only had to become a Rank 3 Magus, but also gain the approval of the Councilors above them and the Agents below them.
Adam was currently in this situation.
Although he had gained the approval of the majority of the Agents in the organization thanks to his glorious and unprecedented feats, the same could not be said for the Counilors.
They were the true leadership of the Twilight Brotherhood. They were a small governing body made up of Rank 4 - Mana Core Magi, known as the Council of Dawn.
Furthermore, each of them was the head of their respective faction within the Brotherhood.
To recieve formal approval from them meant joining their faction—something that Adam did not wish to do yet. For if he did, he would be involved in the organizational politics which he had zero interest in.
But there was another reason why he didn't join a faction yet.
He had joined the Twilight Brotherhood because of Berger. And now, the gnome was in the midst of advancing to the great Mana Core Rank.
So it was only natural for Adam to join whichever faction Berger was in.
Seeing over a dozen owls appear before him, Adam knew that most of them carried gifts from the people of the various factions hoping to persuade him into joining them.
While a select few owls carried packages that contained the Brotherhood's rewards for finishing the last mission and dealing such a heavy blow to the cult.
Adam didn't know the exact history between the Twilight Brotherhood and the Cult of Bones, but knew that they absolutely loathed the cult!
So when they learned that he had killed three Rank 3 - Mana Vortex Magi of the cult, they showered him with praises and gifts.
Furthermore, giving him access to many secret libraries across Ulier that contained esoteric arcane knowledge.
Thinking about it, Adam couldn't help but chuckle in amusement, "Those old fogies from the Brotherhood are so simple-minded. Kill a couple of cultists, and they make you a rich man."
After they had delivered the packages, the owls hooted at the youth before returning to the Spirit World.
Adam had an extremely excited look enveloping his face. He had specifically told the Brotherhood that he would like to have the founder's journals as his reward.
While they thought he was going to fruitlessly try and decode the language written in those journals, he would, in fact, be effortlessly reading through all the secrets that the founder left behind.
The last time he had read the founder's journal was after he had defeated the Rank 3 werewolf in Stratford.
After reading those journals, Adam was certain about one thing…
The founder had definitely recorded the method to leave Tron!
After all, the mysterious founder of the Twilight Brotherhood was not born in Tron. He was born on a different planet in the Greater Universe and had only happened to arrive here by accident.
Adam speculated that if there was a way for the founder to arrive on this planet, then there was definitely a way for him to leave this planet and venture into the Greater Universe.
He couldn't remain on Tron for the rest of his life. After all, the mana ceiling here was limited to only Rank 4.
Meaning, that he could not ascend past the Mana Core Rank.
So, if he wished to pursue the higher arcane arts, he would have to leave Tron in the future and journey to the Greater Universe.
That is why Adam did whatever he could to complete the Brotherhood's missions and receive a copy of the founder's journals as reward.
Furthermore, there was one other method that Adam could think of, one that could provide him with a clue to leave this planet.
The Soaring River Secret Plane!
Adam vividly remembered this place in the Southern Federation. After all, it was the first secret plane that he had entered—and also the only one he had entered till now.
The overseer of that secret plane, the Joker, had once told him that the Magus who created the secret plane, Mathias the Free, had ventured into the Greater Universe, visiting many magical civilizations there.
When Mathias realized that his death was soon approaching, he chose to return to his homeworld of Tron and leave behind his legacy for the residents of this planet.

The Soaring River Secret Plane was the legacy of Mathias the Free.
Adam flicked his hand, conjuring an ivory-colored playing card that had the figure of a joker painted on it in mystical ink.
His lips curled into a smile and he muttered under his breath, "Perhaps, I should give him a visit as well."
This was the calling card that the Joker had given him many years ago. It also served as the key to the secret plane!
He put away the ivory card back inside his earrings. Then, he shifted his attention to the several packages that lay around him.
With an excited smile, he went through all of them one by one.
Some contained precious ores with high conductivity to mana, while others contained magically sealed rare ingredients that could be used to concoct powerful potions.
There were also numerous Rank 3 spells sent by the people from the various factions within the Brotherhood. Moreover, there were also various combat techniques.
However, none of the gift packages contained any mana extraction techniques. For they were the most valuable and could be only imparted to him if he joined their faction.
After putting away all the gifts he recieved, Adam finally opened the sealed package that contained his reward for his accomplishments in the Blackmore Incident.
Unwrapping them, his gaze landed on three leather-bound diaries.
All three of them were copies of the founder's journals written in Ethor—the most commonly used language of the Greater Universe!
With bated breaths, Adam reached out for the diary on top and finally started to read it.
