Yu the Great cast the Nine Tripod Cauldrons, which are respectively the Jizhou Cauldron, the Yanzhou Cauldron, the Qingzhou Cauldron, the Xuzhou Cauldron, the Yangzhou Cauldron, the Jingzhou Cauldron, the Yuzhou Cauldron, the Liangzhou Cauldron, the Yongzhou Cauldron. Engraved upon each cauldron were the mountains, rivers and rare creatures of their respective provinces. The Nine Tripods symbolized the Nine Provinces, with the Yuzhou Cauldron as the central great tripod, marking Yuzhou as the central hub. Beneath the mountain base of Spiritual Mount, there were three great cauldrons: the Jizhou Cauldron, the Yanzhou Cauldron, and the Yuzhou Cauldron. The Yuzhou Cauldron was at the lowest level, with the Jizhou Cauldron at the top, which was the very one in front of Sun Wukong.

"No wonder Buddhism has flourished for so long, even surpassing Taoism and Heaven in dominance, beneath the foot of Spiritual Mount actually lie three great cauldrons, tsk tsk, such grand gestures! I wonder what would Flower Fruit Mountain become if all nine were gathered and buried at its base? I suppose even the tiniest blade of grass could cultivate into a Daluo Golden Immortal, huh?" However, this thought was merely a fleeting one for Sun Wukong. As the saying goes, extremes meet, and it would not be a good thing if Flower Fruit Mountain were to dominate alone. Moreover, with four World Suppressing Steles at Flower Fruit Mountain, their effect would certainly surpass that of the Nine Tripods.

Sun Wukong did not move these three great cauldrons, but couldn't resist scanning them with his Divine Sense. The result of the scan surprised him, for with his Divine Sense, the only outcome was that these three tripods were pseudo Domain Instruments, just a step away from being Domain Instruments, yet stronger than Supreme Divine Artifacts. Apart from that, under Sun Wukong's Divine Sense scan, these three cauldrons appeared as ordinary ones, without a trace of oddity.

But the more ordinary they seemed, the more it proved the extraordinariness of the three cauldrons. If the Divine Sense of Sun Wukong could reveal every detail of these cauldrons, it would mean they were merely three ordinary pseudo Domain Instruments. Although still precious, they were not enticing to Sun Wukong. It was precisely because he could not see through them that it indicated these cauldrons were more mystical than he imagined. Since he could not find anything of value, Sun Wukong refrained from pointless efforts. He took out sixty Guardian Puppets and, recalling the method to control them, bit his finger and drew a symbol on the foreheads of ten of these guardians with his own blood.

After all ten puppets had the symbol drawn on their foreheads by Sun Wukong, he drew an identical symbol on the body of the Jizhou Cauldron. Then, with a surge of Spiritual Power, the ten puppets bearing the Blood Talismans leaped towards the cauldron and astonishingly entered into the Blood Talisman on the cauldron's surface. Watching the ten puppets successfully enter the cauldron's Blood Talisman, Sun Wukong nodded in satisfaction. He then drew another Blood Talisman on another side of the cauldron and allowed another ten puppets to enter it.

The remaining forty puppets were sealed in the Yanzhou Cauldron and the Yuzhou Cauldron in the same fashion. Successfully sealing all sixty puppets within the Blood Talismans on the cauldrons, Sun Wukong breathed a sigh of relief. Everything had gone smoothly, and these tripods indeed possessed a similar Suppression power to the World Suppressing Steles. Unless Spiritual Mount was under attack, the Pangu Realm faced a major invasion, or a vast number of beings perished, these sixty puppets would not make an appearance. They would remain sealed within the Blood Talismans on the cauldrons.

Having done all this, Sun Wukong returned straight to the surface, tidied his clothes, and then strode up the stone stairs at the foot of Spiritual Mount. In reality, Spiritual Mount was not unguarded; on the contrary, there were no blind spots anywhere on the mountain, with Buddhist Soldiers stationed everywhere. However, these people were as if blind to Sun Wukong, who ascended step by step up the stairs under watchful eyes without hindrance.

The last time he walked these stone stairs was during the journey to the Western Paradise with his Master and fellows. At that time, everyone's heart was filled with excitement and anticipation. The longing for freedom, the longing for dreams. Back then, for Sun Wukong, this stone stairway was his path to freedom, yet he later realized that the freedom he thought he had was nothing but an illusion. Now climbing these stairs once more, everything was completely different.

Not only was his strength different, but his status and circumstances were different, and likewise, his mindset was completely different. The present Sun Wukong could destroy the whole of Spiritual Mount and all of Buddhism with a mere flick of his hand if he wished, but he did not want to do so. Because Buddhism is not an unforgivable place, nor is it any sort of evil cult. On the contrary, most Buddhists are compassionate at heart, it was only before because of Tathagata that Buddhism had done many excessive things.

Amidst his musings, Sun Wukong had already walked to the top of Spiritual Mount, in front of the magnificent main hall. Still, nobody detected Sun Wukong, as if he were invisible. It wasn't until he stepped into the great hall that someone finally noticed him, and that someone was not Holy Buddha Ksitigarbha, but rather his mount, Divine Beast Di Ting.

"Still so formidable. The Divine Beast Di Ting truly lives up to its reputation!" Having his presence revealed by Di Ting, Sun Wukong wasn't embarrassed. He had been using his Spatial Divine Skill to conceal himself simply because he wanted to avoid trouble. Sun Wukong revealed himself, but Holy Buddha Ksitigarbha, seated on the Lotus Throne, did not show any sign of great surprise. Putting down the sutra scroll he was holding, Ksitigarbha stepped down and stood in front of Sun Wukong, scrutinizing him carefully before he said, "Great Saint, are you well?" Ksitigarbha did not look down upon Sun Wukong just because he had become a Buddha Lord of Buddhism, nor did he offer excessive praise because he could not fully comprehend Sun Wukong's strength. Instead, his greeting was evenly poised.

Sun Wukong was not displeased with Ksitigarbha's attitude; in fact, he rather enjoyed this type of interaction. Sun Wukong smiled and said, "By a stroke of luck, I have indeed returned safely! By the way, I remember Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva—oh, now it should be Holy Buddha Ksitigarbha—once mentioned that you were from the Ancient Primordial World of the Upper Realm, didn't you?" Ksitigarbha was somewhat surprised that Sun Wukong brought this up but still nodded and said, "Indeed, I originally came from the Ancient Primordial World. Some higher beings seemed to have discovered something special about this world back then, so they ordered me and a few others to seal our cultivation and come here to propagate Buddhism and to investigate the uniqueness of this world!"

Sun Wukong nodded in understanding, then asked, "And what was the result?" Ksitigarbha replied with a wry smile, "No result, we didn't uncover anything special." Sun Wukong pondered for a moment before asking, "Do you know if there's any way for someone at the Saint Realm to travel to the Ancient Primordial World?" Sun Wukong asked this because he realized that he and his master and brothers would soon leave for the Ancient Primordial World to seek the true meaning of the Buddhist Law. But exactly how to go there was indeed a problem.

If it were just Sun Wukong himself, then he could simply unravel the seals on his strength and fly there directly. But this time, his master and Bajie among others would be going as well. His master now had the strength of an Intermediate Grade Saint and could not even ascend to an intermediate world. Bajie was at the peak of Unity Dao and could barely manage in an intermediate world, but it would not suffice for the Ancient Primordial World. The White Dragon was merely a Saint of the Great Dao. Only Old Sand met the criteria.

And according to the master's wishes, they still had to go step by step, without any shortcuts. It's easy to say but hard to do. The journey from Chang'an to the Western Paradise had taken fourteen years. If this time they truly had to travel every step on foot, it would likely take thousands of years, not counting the time needed for the master and disciples to enhance their strength along the way. Although Sun Wukong himself had many methods, he did not have a way to deal with the Cosmic Rules; surely, he couldn't keep his master cooped up in the Mystic Space the whole time? Then have the master physically walk the distance within the Mystic Space?

Concerning Sun Wukong's question, Ksitigarbha thought for a long time before saying, "There's no special method, one is to continuously cultivate and break through one's strength, ascending all the way to the Ancient Primordial World. Another method is to be guided by a powerful being from the Upper Realm, and if the guiding person is strong enough, they can directly bring someone from a minor world to the Ancient Primordial World. The last method is to make use of a Teleportation Array; intermediate worlds under the Ancient Primordial World should have arrays that lead to the Ancient Primordial World."

Sun Wukong nodded, among these three methods, the last one is the quickest. However, regardless of the method, Sun Wukong must first resolve a fundamental issue: if his cultivation is not sufficient, can he forcefully reach the Upper Realm? (To be continued.
