With the arrival of the extraordinary era, Charlotte’s rate of absorbing magic power increased significantly.

Unlike before her traversal, this time she possessed a “pure” Creation-rank divinity before accumulating magical power, so the Origin corruption had almost no effect on her.

However, Charlotte did not choose to rapidly restore her power by directly leveraging her divine rank.

Although the “Creator God” had fallen, based on her knowledge from her past life, it was clear that He still retained a final instinct and sliver of consciousness. His power merely scattered across every corner of the Myria continent, and His divinity was hidden who-knows-where, while His awareness had sunk into slumber.

Even so, the residual power He left behind still far exceeded Charlotte’s own.

And as long as the “Creator God’s” divinity wasn’t destroyed, He could not truly die.

Therefore… until she clearly located that divinity, Charlotte only planned to indirectly grow her strength by ‘shepherding’ followers.

That was also how she intended to stay hidden.

Now that she herself had become Creation-rank, Charlotte possessed a deeper understanding of such a divinity. The old saying that “as long as a god is not forgotten, they will not perish” was merely a surface effect—an illusion created by the Creator God’s act of shepherding the gods.

That’s right—shepherding the gods.

By now, Charlotte was certain: the many gods of Myria were also subjects being shepherded by the Creator God—and in fact, they were His main flock.

The extraordinary power in Myria originated from the Creator God, so naturally, the gods born in Myria could not escape His control.

In truth, all gods in Myria were extensions of the “Creation Divinity.” The reason they do not perish if not forgotten was precisely because of the existence of this divinity.

To differentiate between them, Charlotte decided to name the Creator God’s divinity [Origin Divinity], and her own as [True Ancestor Divinity].

In Charlotte’s estimation, all of Myria’s gods traced their origins to the Origin Divinity.

Their births were most likely orchestrated by the Creator God, and their “falls and returns” were simply returns from the Origin Divinity.

This inspired Charlotte—

If the Creator God could “shepherd” gods using His divinity, then why couldn’t she?

In the extraordinary era, all gods were inevitably influenced by the Origin Divinity, but as a fellow “Creation-rank” being, she could exert influence too.

More than that, by imprinting her “True Ancestor Divinity” onto Myria’s gods, Charlotte could even use their connection to the Origin Divinity to reverse-track the Origin’s location!

And that… would be her chance to defeat the Creator God!

Of course, this all depended on one critical condition: everything she did must remain in the shadows until her strength had grown sufficiently.

This also meant she could not proactively sever the Origin Divinity’s influence over her chosen gods.

After careful consideration, Charlotte chose the elves.

“Through my bond with the elves, I’ll help them birth a mythology as quickly as possible and establish an elven pantheon that I can indirectly influence.”

“Even though the Creator God still retains consciousness, He is in slumber. So even without breaking their connection to Him, I can replace Him—becoming the ‘Creator God’ in their hearts.”

“Then, I’ll guide the elven pantheon into a war against those gods born solely from the Origin Divinity—secretly stripping away the Origin’s power while locating its divinity.”

If someone familiar with Myria’s history were here, they might have realized what Charlotte was planning.

Indeed—Charlotte intended to mimic the history she knew from her past life and actively push history forward!

The Elven Pantheon…

The Divine War…

In true historical records, the elven gods of the western continent waged a war that lasted over a thousand years against the old gods of eastern Myria, during which countless old gods fell.

Now, Charlotte intended to proactively launch that war, pushing the course of history to follow the “predetermined” path.

But this “predetermined” path would be one set by Charlotte herself.

In fact, now that she possessed a Creation-rank divinity, Charlotte had come to understand the phrase “established history cannot be changed” in a much deeper sense.

The “Creation-rank” divinity already had the power to influence the laws of time and space—the Gospel of Blood’s ability to help her traverse timelines was living proof.

As for Myria’s supposedly immutable history, it was simply a rule set by the Creator God within the boundaries of His power—obviously, He didn’t possess active time-travel abilities, or else He wouldn’t have created such a restriction.

“Established history cannot be changed.”

When the Origin’s power descended upon Myria, and its magical force permeated every corner of the world, Charlotte naturally sensed that embedded rule within the very fabric of the world.

History possessed natural inertia. Forcibly altering it was equivalent to fighting the world’s own laws, which came at an immense price—thus, not all Creation-rank gods could actually do it.

Clearly, the Creator God’s grasp over the laws of time and space leaned toward restricting rather than altering.

Until Charlotte’s power surpassed His, she couldn’t break that rule—and must not, as it would risk waking Him early.

But that didn’t stop her from acting.

In fact—

“This is perfect.”

“To ‘conform’ to history… even to become history itself… is the best disguise.”

With that thought, Charlotte decisively used her painstakingly accumulated divine power to connect with the elves still praying beneath the great tree.

The flow of time felt different for gods compared to mortals.

Especially when comprehending the laws of the world—what might seem like a single thought, a brief meditation, could span years.

Thus, as Charlotte continued researching her “True Ancestor Divinity” and supporting the elves’ development behind the scenes…

A thousand years passed, just like that.

Taking a deep breath, Charlotte withdrew her awareness from the “True Ancestor Divinity.” Her soul form, now nearly indistinguishable from a physical body, glowed faintly with ethereal light. Within her crimson-gold eyes, galaxies seemed to rise and fall.

A vast aura far beyond what she had a millennium ago flickered across her, though she quickly suppressed it.

“Phew… I’ve finally gained full control of the [True Ancestor Divinity].”

Her expression showed satisfaction.

In this thousand-year span, Charlotte had only done two things:

One, secretly guiding the growth of the elven race.

Two, studying the laws of the world.

This was also the price of rapidly becoming a Creation-rank being.

Though she had reached that rank, Charlotte’s path to divinity had been aided too heavily by external forces rather than through her own comprehension of laws and power, so she had much catching up to do.

That was also why, in her past life, even after becoming Creation-rank, she could not resist the Creator God’s corruption—not just because she had been tainted by the Origin before traversing, but because her divinity was too hollow.

But now… things were different.

A thousand years had passed, and Charlotte had finally achieved full mastery over her own divinity!

To say nothing of anything else, if the Charlotte of now were to return to the time before her traversal, she would even be able to gradually purge the “corruption” from her body, instead of waiting helplessly to be consumed.

With that thought, Charlotte twitched her fingers slightly, and traces of crimson-gold brilliance began to spread from her fingertips, swiftly devouring the pure-white Origin power.

Crimson-gold—Creation-rank strength!

This was Charlotte’s other major accomplishment over the past millennium.

Every Creation-rank god possessed a unique form of divine power. The “Creator God’s” was the white Origin divine power, and because Charlotte had long been unfamiliar with her own powers, she had for a significant time used that Origin divine power instead.

But now things were different. After a thousand years, she finally had a divine power of her own!

This divine power was not only vastly more potent and wondrous than regular divine powers in terms of energy—it also differed in function. This power… could create worlds!

In other words, only now had she truly become a “Creation-rank God” in every sense!

Charlotte raised her right hand, letting the crimson-gold light spread. Soon, a phantom-like crimson gospel materialized in her palm.

It was her supreme artifact—the Gospel of Blood.

But this wasn’t the same one that had long accompanied her.

That one had already fully merged with her during this traversal—it had been thoroughly absorbed and assimilated.

This new gospel had been reformed using her crimson-gold Creation-rank divine power and refined by the laws she now controlled after fully mastering her own divinity.

With the support of her own divine power, this new Gospel of Blood now possessed a similar trait—it was also immune to Origin divine power.

Looking at the crimson-gold divine power around her fingertips, Charlotte smiled slightly.

“From now on, you’ll be called the True Ancestor divine power.”

The crimson-gold True Ancestor divine power spread, the golden hue fading into a pure blood-red.

This was the blood-based divine power Charlotte was familiar with.

It was essentially a weaker version of the True Ancestor divine power—but it still retained its immunity to the Origin divine power.

The True Ancestor divine power was precious and required vast amounts of blood-based divine power to condense. And because Charlotte had spent most of the past thousand years investing her divine power into the elven race, her own reserves were not especially abundant.

The Gospel of Blood glowed brightly, absorbing all the crimson divine power she had infused.

And then—Charlotte’s heart stirred slightly.

“Hm?”

Her gaze fell on the freshly condensed Gospel of Blood.

She saw two faint glimmers of light slowly appearing on its surface—one radiated an aura of the same origin as Charlotte herself, and the other… emitted an energy that resembled the Origin divine power.

These two forces were extremely weak, as if they had only just awoken from a long slumber.

Charlotte’s eyes narrowed. She extended her divine awareness to sense them—and then froze.

“This… This is Lilith and Harald’s power—no, their essence?!”

A single thought passed, and Charlotte quickly understood the situation.

“Of course! Lilith and Harald were gods. They share blood ties with me. So… after I truly became a ‘Creation-rank God,’ I naturally gained the ability to resummon them!”

“Unlike before my traversal, this summoning is done through bloodline resonance—it completely isolates the corruption of the Origin divine power. Which means… what’s been summoned is a pure, untainted origin!”

“Still, this is only a sliver of their essence, not the full soul. Their original powers had already been devoured by the ‘Creator God’ before my traversal. They’ve lost their divinities. Rather than true origins, they’re more like fragments of souls imbued with a lingering mythic aura…”

Even so, this was enough.

Charlotte had fully mastered her Creation-rank divinity—if she could create worlds, then restoring two blood-bound soul remnants was hardly a challenge.

As long as she could repair their origins and restore them into complete souls, Charlotte could help them reincarnate and live again!

“I can use the fruit from that giant tree. After a millennium steeped in divine power, those fruits now carry traces of my own strength—perfect as a medium to nurture new souls and bodies.”

With that, Charlotte shifted her gaze toward the Western Continent.

A thousand years had passed, and the lands of the elves had undergone monumental transformation.

The once-scattered forest villages had vanished.

In their place rose majestic cities, towering one after another.

These cities now spanned the continent—and at the center stood a colossal metropolis with over a million inhabitants. At its heart stood the very giant tree where Charlotte had once “descended.”

Of course, Charlotte had long since left that tree—she now remained hidden in the void, using the tree only as a communication link with the elves. The elves, in turn, called it the Divine Tree.

By this point, the elven population across the continent had surpassed ten million. And within the central city’s highest spire, eighteen mighty divine auras glowed like lanterns in the darkness, illuminating the world.

These were the eighteen gods born from the elves—raised over a millennium under Charlotte’s secret guidance!

Among them, three divine lights far outshone the other fifteen.

They were true gods—the three True Elven Gods.

That’s right—Charlotte had even fostered the rise of three true gods!

Three true gods. Fifteen demi-gods. This was Charlotte’s achievement over the past millennium!

And yet, Charlotte felt no pride.

Her gaze stretched further—across to the eastern Myria continent. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

In her senses, over twenty divine auras of equal magnitude had risen on that continent as well—gods born of the Origin divine power.

Or more precisely… the Old Gods of Myria!

It was clear: while Charlotte had strengthened her own forces, the slumbering Creator God had also been growing stronger.

In fact, Charlotte could feel it in the world itself—with each new god’s birth, the very “weight” of the Myria world increased. Its energy density had become several times greater than it had been when she first arrived!

The world of Myria… was evolving!

And throughout this process, because the Origin-infused magic power now permeated the entire world, the Creator God’s rate of power accumulation was clearly faster than Charlotte’s.

Sensing the comparison of their forces, Charlotte’s golden-red eyes flickered slightly, her gaze deepening.

“The time has come.”

“The prologue of history… must begin.”

With that thought, Charlotte summoned her divine power—bringing it down upon the Divine Tree at the heart of the elven metropolis.
