Godfire: The Split Soul-Chapter 158: The Dragon in Jeans
Knock. Knock. Knock.
Lena stood by the office of the principal, her white bag hanging on her slightly raised left arm. ’What did Kai do?’ she thought, waiting for a response from the other side of the office.
"Is that Yung Chin’s mother? She looks young," the bald boy with silver eyes whispered, staring at the lady in white from the far edge of the hallway.
Lena stood by the door, tapping the tip of her boot on the ground after glancing at the clock on her wristband. "Ohh. Why is no one answering me?"
She turned, dissatisfaction filling her like water running through her, and shifted her glance to the students exiting the classrooms behind her.
"Hello," she called out, stretching her finger toward a lady with blue hair and a chubby face. "Please, can I talk to you for a second?"
Lena moved five steps toward her as soon as the girl nodded in response.
"Hello, I’m Lena, Yung Chin K’s aunty," Lena began, introducing herself.
"Tessa," the girl introduced herself.
At that instant, Lena’s eyes widened, but she maintained her composure. ’Is she the lady Kai talked about? She really looks nice.’
"Please, are you here because of Kai?" Tessa asked, her expression saddening.
’How did she know I’m related to Kai? What am I even thinking? She will probably know since she’s been close to Kai.’
"Yes. I was called to come. That’s why I’m here. But—" Lena paused, turned, and gave the principal’s door a glance.
"Ahem. Please, let me take you to the office they were taken into," Tessa stated, then moved past Lena slightly. "That office is no longer in use."
The two walked down the hallway like mother and daughter. Tessa walked as if she had nothing to care for.
Lena, on the other hand, kept turning her head, glancing at the students’ faces.
They exited the lecture halls to the other buildings where men in severe uniforms waved at Lena as if they knew her.
After five minutes, Tessa stopped at the front of a building that looked too ancient to still be standing.
"This is the new principal’s office," she said, pointing toward the building.
"But why have you stopped here?" Lena tilted her gaze from the girl to the building that had the look of a witch’s house. "Take me inside, then."
"This is as far as I can go," Tessa stated. She bowed, then stepped aside, giving Lena the privilege to enter.
’Hmmm. I hope I don’t have to go in there myself.’ She neared it, placed her right arm on the black door that seemed to drink every light that got drawn to it.
A chilling gust of wind splashed on her the moment the door swung open under a little push.
Inside, she marveled at the arrangement of old books that were out of reach of normal humans.
’Are these all here?’ She felt a strange sensation running through her when she spotted a monument of a dragon that looked too real to be just a human-crafted stone.
She stopped by it, stared at its red eyes, scratching her chin with the index finger of her right hand.
"Hello," a loud male voice boomed from behind her, followed by footsteps that sounded like thunder blasts.
A smile tore across Lena’s face as she tilted her head toward the direction the voice erupted from.
There, at the center of the room, and just a few meters away from a door she had walked past, stood a man who had hair all over his face.
"Hello," Lena waved, then moved two steps forward. "I’m Lena, I was call—"
"I called you," the man said, then turned. "Follow me." He walked away without saying another word or letting the lady finish her statement.
"Well, every place has its rules. Let me just follow as he has instructed," she whispered to herself as she followed the strange man.
The two descended a down-blown staircase that looked as if it had no end.
Meanwhile, just outside the Vamus College, Black leaned on his taxi, one leg crossed over the other. He kept smiling, waving at the devilish structures the passing female students had.
"God-damnn..." he cursed low under his breath. "These kids are not kids. Why grant them this kind of body?"
He licked his lips, focusing his gaze on the dangling ass of a fair lady who wore a mini skirt that only covered part of her ass, leaving her extremely exposed.
"Girl," a chocolate-toned-skinned lady giggled, shifting her gaze from Anas to the lecturer standing by the taxi. "I think you’ve caught his attention."
A small laugh lanced between the three grouped girls.
Anas’s eyes widened in shock as soon as she tilted her gaze to the man’s waist. Her mouth opened wide as if wanting to swallow him from afar.
"Haven’t you stopped this, your behavior?" Kay slapped her shoulder, drawing her attention back.
’No, that can’t be possible!’ Anas shook her head, forcing away the reeling image of the large cock that she could see passing the man’s knees.
She wet her lips, then swallowed hard.
Kay’s reaction changed as soon as she also followed Anas’s eye direction. "Damnn... I would want to see how that makes me feel when it’s buried deep in me."
Kay’s breath began to hitch, sweat beading on her face.
From behind them, Black squinted, sucking his reddened lips. "Oh shit!" he screamed when he shifted his gaze from the girls and locked it on his trousers.
"Lucky I wore jeans today," he smiled faintly, "else I would have been naked with the manner at which it has hardened."
At that same time, Lena and the strange man stopped at the base of the endless staircase.
In front of them was a dark space that had light at its far end. ’Why do I have a feeling that I have been lied to?’ She slowly shifted her gaze from right to left, and vice versa.
"Madam," the strange man said, inhaling and exhaling sharply. "Your son and one other child who engaged in a fight have been locked here as a form of punishment."
"Locked in here? In this place that gives a hellish feeling?!" She screamed at the man. "Sorry for my reaction."
"It’s okay. That’s how everyone behaves the first time they visit here after their child does that."
