God-Tier Loot System: I Loot All, Even Worlds and Gods-Chapter 28: Big Haul [1.0]
After much thought, Rhen finally came to a decision – he would accept the quest with Nocten. The boy-god’s presence was still strange to him, yet oddly reassuring.
He had learned what he could about the ancient beast they would be hunting and the strategies they’d use to handle it.
In a few hours, they’d be leaving for the quest.
Before that though, Rhen wanted to go through his Loot System, especially since he hadn’t gone through the loots he obtained at the Union exam.
Rhen chose to first look at his En coins after buying a bunch of stuff, which Zena recounted for him.
Two high-grade combat enhancer potions, four Grade III poison antidotes, one Grade II poison antidote... the list went on.
Enough supplies to arm a small squad, and yet, nearly seventy percent of the cost had gone into Frostbite Fang alone.
Rhen grimaced. Luxury never came cheap.
En Coins: 48,989,785
’I’ve actually spent a lot... Considering I was given that amount of money in the first place, there must have been something they wanted me to use it for.’
Rhen could only comfort himself by believing he could make that amount back. He still had the Loot System after all.
Moving onto that, after Rhen had Zena filter out Enma content from his system, he was left with this:
Tickets: Neutral Ticket x18, Item Gacha Tickets x3
• Character Gacha •
• Item Gacha •
• Loot Inventory: 12 •
• Pulled Characters : 1•
• Loot boxes: seventy-nine 2-star loot, forty-nine 3-star loot, twelve 4-star loot •
- - -
He first expanded his Loot Inventory, going through his gains.
Zena had used his Greater Poison Resistance potion on Nina and his Viper Fang daggers were back in Talia, so he had 12 items left in his loot.
Mist Snake x8
Fox Hide x5
Fox Fangs x18
Mana Crystal x1
Viper’s Hide Strip x 2
Thread Weaver (3-star) Fragment x7
Nun of Caverns (3-star) Fragment x5
Neutral Character Fragment x2
Female Character Fragment x5
Male Character Fragment x 9
Circus Master (4-star) Fragment x2
Phantom Rider (4-star) Fragment x2
- - -
Most were fragments obtained from the Character Pull Zena had done to save him a few days ago.
He needed 50 fragments for a specific character to obtain them, if you exclude the Male/Female/Neutral Character Fragments.
The Character Pull list was filled with various characters of varying nature and race, with their titles primarily displayed.
There were still a few things like Character Shades and Collector’s Mark that Rhen couldn’t really guess their effects from how they looked.
Collector’s Mark even had various types making Rhen more curious, but of course, "Zena, who had fused with the Loot System, knew its effect.
Collector’s Mark was something Rhen could assign to someone permanently so he could obtain loot from their kills too.
This was a way to expand Rhen’s loot gain from his summons.
’The more I see of this system, the clearer it becomes — it isn’t just about making me stronger. It’s meant to strengthen the people around me too.
’Coincidentally, it fits for a man aiming to rule a Kingdom. And Zena says this was not something prepared by our forefathers... Then where did it come from?’
Silently wondering, Rhen moved on to the loot he was about to open.
It seemed that within the past week or so, he and Lilac had killed 140 beings, and now he was about to reap the rewards.
With a single instruction, they all opened and Rhen saw a list of items obtained.
85 items filled his items, expanding his ideas on things he could obtain from the System.
The first thing that caught his eye was the Core Expander. It expanded his core by any amount between 2% and 30% and he had 7.
Using this would increase Rhen’s mana pool, but it was better suited for Zena, who found it hard to cultivate her core.
Rhen used two, gaining a 13% increase overall and leaving the rest for Zena.
Next were items like the Iron Gauntlets (3-star), Crimson-Forged Light Armor (4-star), Gator’s Back (3-star), questionable items like Plague’s Tears, and a few more things.
These weapons, no matter the designated stars, had their own effects.
The best part about this was that the amount of money Rhen was going to spend to obtain items for the Nerakai’s had lessened.
This made him see the loot system in a new light.
’This will be a good way to strengthen the people around me too.
Leaving the items, next were the tickets he had obtained.
18x Character Tickets. 26 Neutral Tickets. 32x Item Tickets.
Character Ticket 0 → 18
Neutral Ticket 18 → 24
Item Ticket 3 → 35
Rhen was tempted to run a pull, but if he did get a Character, it would be difficult explaining where yet another person had spawned from in this house.
And it would be impractical to just keep the character hidden in the house at all times.
So, he would wait until he could make a 100-pull at once, when he’d be certain to get a character or when the situation called for an extra hand.
Items were also unneeded, so he’d postpone that for another day too.
Last on the list—and to Rhen’s surprise—was something he hadn’t expected to see in his loot: a Collector’s Mark.
Rhen turned to Nocten, who had been meditating for a while now, trying to recover as much strength as possible.
"Say, do you actually like hunting beasts?"
Nocten cracked an eye open, curiosity dancing in his expression. "And if I say yes?"
Rhen lifted his palm, where a glowing symbol pulsed faintly. "Then I want to link you to the System."
Nocten’s smile turned to a thoughtful expression.
"Yet again, I feel a sense of familiarity from this," he muttered. "Let’s do it."
Rhen had confirmed that Nocten being his bond didn’t mean he was under the system like Lilac so there was no problem thinking he had wasted it.
[You have linked the Loot System to Nocten.]
"I don’t feel any different," Nocten said, seeing Rhen look curiously at the air.
Rhen shrugged and said, "I’m done. Can we start moving?"
"Whenever you’re ready," Nocten closed his eyes back.
