God-Level All-rounder Expert-Chapter 642 - 712: Bizarre Posture
Chapter 642: Chapter 712: Bizarre Posture
Rhino Man was very strong and had great strength. Fang Yi had fought with a Rhino Man just last night, so he had a clear estimation of the Rhino Man’s approximate ability.
The Chopper seemed to fly out of Fang Yi’s hands, stabbing directly towards the forehead of the Rhino Man.
The Rhino Man let out a low growl, neither dodging nor evading, and clapped his hands together, catching both sides of the Chopper’s blade.
Bang!
Fang Yi felt the Chopper vibrate, a tremendous force shaking his tiger’s mouth, causing a slight numbness.
But Fang Yi didn’t retreat. A fierce light shone in his eyes; he gripped the handle of the Chopper with one hand and spun it forcefully.
Even if your flesh and hide are tough, can they be sharper than the Chopper?
At this moment, it was a contest of who had the greater strength. Fang Yi injected all his True Qi into his right hand, spinning the Chopper. The blade’s edge sliced off the flesh and blood from the Rhino Man’s palms.
"Argh!" The Rhino Man let out a piercing scream, stepped back quickly, and kept roaring.
Beside him, Sacrificial Monsters charged. Fang Yi coldly smiled and, just as before, his hand moved and the blade fell, taking the head of a monster every time. It was hard to tell if it was because Fang Yi killed too ruthlessly, but the blood-red eyes of these intelligence-lacking Sacrificial Monsters even revealed a look of horror.
But they were ultimately just monsters, lacking intelligence. Controlled by the chips in their brains, they still swarmed towards Fang Yi, relentlessly attacking him.
And Fang Yi’s response was simple: just kill them.
With Fang Yi leading the way and Cai Qin following behind, Fang Yi truly carved a bloody path through their ranks.
Limbs and stumps, a deep red blood flowed everywhere.
The Rhino Man’s eyes turned blood red, and with a bloodthirsty roar, he shouted, "Human, die!"
As his words fell, the Rhino Man charged again.
Fang Yi responded with a cold smile, meeting him with the sharp Chopper.
Meteor Stab!
Fang Yi executed the Meteor Stab, which he had learned by stealth from Mao Yanfeng. He used the Chopper as if it were a long spear, stabbing out repeatedly, so fast that the naked eye could hardly keep up.
The meteor-like strikes left many wounds on the Rhino Man’s body.
However, these wounds weren’t significant. After all, the Rhino Man had thick skin and flesh that was truly like chain mail. If Fang Yi hadn’t infused each stab with True Qi, he really wouldn’t have been able to inflict any damage on the Rhino Man.
The Rhino Man roared in rage. It was a notch higher than the Sacrificial Monsters, possessing some rudimentary intelligence. Although it didn’t use any cunning schemes, it still clearly understood what pain was.
"Despicable human!" The Rhino Man bellowed angrily: "I will tear you to pieces!"
"Maybe in your next life."
Fang Yi said indifferently: "I don’t have time to play with you right now."
His eyes flashed with a cold gleam, and in the next moment, Fang Yi closed the distance with the Rhino Man, suddenly putting away the Chopper and transferring it from his right hand to his left.
His right fist clenched suddenly, and he delivered a punch.
This punch was infused with Fang Yi’s robust True Qi. As a sixth segment Earth Level practitioner, the punch carried a crushing force and slammed into the face of the Rhino Man. Fang Yi distinctly felt as if his fist had hit a piece of solid granite.
Looking at the Rhino Man again, it cried out "ow" as its head tilted, its half-face crashing into the corridor’s stone wall, smashing the stones into fragments.
The Rhino Man’s head was spinning, his eyes filled with stars.
Fang Yi gripped the Chopper, clearing the way ahead when suddenly he spotted a somewhat familiar figure.
"Uncle Luo?!" Cai Qin suddenly exclaimed from behind.
At the end of the corridor was none other than the missing Luo Kedi.
Luo Kedi revealed a mysterious smile, raised his right hand, and took out a remote control, waving it gently towards the two of them.
"Uncle Luo, what are you trying to do?!" Cai Qin exclaimed in astonishment.
Rock Enemy said nothing, merely raising his hand in a goodbye gesture.
Fang Yi didn’t say anything either, gripping the Chopper and charging forward, but Rock Enemy had already pressed the detonator a step ahead.
Boom!
Boom boom!
The sound of explosions suddenly rose, shaking the entire tunnel as boulders fell.
Fang Yi immediately hit the brakes, swiftly turned around, and scooped up a stunned and immobile Cai Qin around the waist, dashing towards the specimen room with a string of explosions behind them, their lives hanging by a thread in the heat of the fire.
Back in the specimen room, Fang Yi let out a breath of foul air while Cai Qin was still somewhat dazed. Fang Yi patted her cheeks, saying, "Wake up."
"Uncle Luo is a traitor?" Cai Qin looked at him.
"It’s quite obvious," Fang Yi said indifferently.
He wasn’t very surprised, actually. Although Rock Enemy had presented a facade of perfection and seemed gentle, smiling cordially at everyone, the saying ’barking dogs seldom bite’ was something Fang Yi understood all too well.
Therefore, he was wary of Rock Enemy, just not expecting him to be so decisive and ruthless, setting off bombs without blinking an eye, intent on killing him and Cai Qin by obliterating those Sacrificial Monsters.
Cai Qin remained silent.
Fang Yi didn’t pay her any attention, instead starting to look for a way out in the specimen room. They were lucky that the bombs hadn’t reached here, but Fang Yi knew if Rock Enemy found out he and Cai Qin had survived, Rock Enemy would definitely make another attempt on their lives.
Soon, Fang Yi had his eyes on the ventilation opening in the ceiling.
Fang Yi leaped up, using the Chopper to pry open the ventilation duct’s grate.
He couldn’t continue to carry the Chopper, so Fang Yi had no choice but to leave it behind. Then he jumped up, entering the ventilation duct, and Cai Qin, knowing this wasn’t the time to be absent-minded, followed Fang Yi into the duct.
The ventilation duct was only big enough for one person to pass through, so Fang Yi led the way with Cai Qin following behind as they both crawled along the duct.
Before long, a hissing sound came through, similar to a venomous snake flicking its tongue.
"Wait... wait a minute!" Cai Qin’s voice trembled a bit.
"What’s wrong?"
"My foot... something has... grabbed it," Cai Qin’s voice shivered.
There was a moment of silence in the duct, then Fang Yi uttered two words in a low voice:
"Climb fast!"
Fang Yi crawled rapidly through the duct which was too narrow to stretch out in.
Yet Cai Qin, being of tough caliber, didn’t glance back as she fiercely kicked, as if hitting a face. Then she felt her legs become free and she scrambled swiftly through the duct.
Not knowing where the ventilation duct led, Fang Yi wasn’t familiar with the route, but it wasn’t long before he spotted an important room. Without hesitation, he pulled open the vent and dropped down.
As soon as Fang Yi landed, Cai Qin also fell straight down, but as she was about to touch ground, her legs were seized; Fang Yi looked closely and saw the terrifying visage of a woman.
Snake Woman!
It was the same Snake Woman Fang Yi had encountered the night before.
"Humans, you cannot escape," Snake Woman said.
Fang Yi didn’t say a word, just revealed a grim smile and leaped up, punching out.
Snake Woman’s eyes widened and her grip loosened as she hurriedly dodged, while Cai Qin almost crashed head-first to the ground, Fang Yi naturally didn’t bother with the Snake Woman any longer, quickly grabbing Cai Qin’s legs, and just missing the ground with her head.
Rhino Man had already been blown up, Snake Woman was no match for Fang Yi, and naturally she fled quickly.
But at that moment, the position Fang Yi and Cai Qin found themselves in was indescribably awkward.
