Global Lords: Hundredfold Increments Starting With the Undead-Chapter 1244 - 836 The Four-Armed Skeleton General
Chapter 1244: Chapter 836, The Four-Armed Skeleton General
Chapter 1244 -836, The Four-Armed Skeleton General
The Manor.
The morning sun was bright, casting golden light across the floor.
A girl in a black and white maid outfit, wearing round-toed leather boots, bounced in.
Her chubby cheeks and petite yet plump figure made her look soft and adorable.
She looked very cute.
“Good morning, Master,” said the girl sweetly upon seeing Fang Hao.
“Morning!”
Fang Hao replied and went down into the cellar to pour himself another glass of fruit wine, then sat down on a wooden chair nearby.
He continued pondering the matter of blueprint synthesis.
Two tier-ten blueprints to synthesize a new one.
Hmm, Undead, shield bearer…
Fang Hao considered the necessary elements.
The girl cleaned around him, constantly glancing over.
Before training, the maids had to get their own work done.
As Eira’s beloved little maid, she was always responsible for cleaning the manor’s great hall.
Of course, being in the Holy Spirit City, a special building, it couldn’t possibly get dusty, so it was just about doing a general check every day.
Clang!
She stumbled, accidentally bumping into a side table.
The newly poured fruit wine was knocked over, spilling across the table.
“Oh no, Master, I’m so sorry…” she hurried to erect the glass, quickly apologizing.
“It’s okay, just wipe it up,” Fang Hao said, realizing what happened.
“What a waste!”
The girl hesitated, then blushed and leaned down, her tender tongue gently lapping up the spilled wine.
From time to time, she hesitantly looked up at her master with embarrassment.
This scene stirred something in Fang Hao.
Where did she learn that from?
Fang Hao smiled softly and stood up, gently caressing her bent back.
Lifting her skirt’s hem, he pressed down on her back, making her bend over and hold on to the side table.
“Master, here?” the girl was somewhat flustered.
“It’s fine, at this time it’s only Eira and the others who come over, it’s not like they haven’t seen it before,” Fang Hao reassured softly.
The girl wanted to say more but could only whimper in response.
Urged on, she continued to gently lick the scattered fruit wine from the table.
But the side table shook along with her movements, causing more wine to spill.
…
Morning passed quickly.
The girl cleaned the table and ran off with a flushed face.
Fang Hao poured himself another large glass of fruit wine and sat back on his throne.
He also took out the ‘military camp blueprint’ that he needed.
Although he had already found the corresponding blueprints, he still wasn’t clear on how to use or synthesize them.
Confirm use.
The retracted blueprint unfolded in an instant.
Forming a huge design blueprint.
[Please select the military camp blueprint you want to synthesize.]
Fang Hao thought for a moment and began to choose.
[Divine Realm Guardhall] and [War General’s Tomb], two military camp blueprints.
Updat𝓮d from freewēbnoveℓ.com.
After choosing, the two blueprints appeared on the blueprint, one on the left, one on the right.
Displayed were the military camp’s troop attributes.
In the middle was a blank attribute blueprint, labeled ‘unnamed’ and ‘unconfirmed’.
[Divine Realm Guard (tier ten)] → [Unnamed] ← [Exorcist Hulk (tier ten)]
[Campaign: Giant] → [Unconfirmed] ← [Campaign: Undead]
[Racial Trait: Living creatures, Giant bloodline, Protective stone skin] → [Unconfirmed (up to five)] ← [Racial Trait: Undead, Hollow Skeleton, Weakness to Light, Eerie Intimidation, Innate Quad Arms]
[Skills: Mighty Smash, War Cry, StunningHeavy Blow, Overpowering Mountain.] → [Unconfirmed (up to six)] ← [Skills: Shield Bash, Vicious Cleve, Necrotic Body, Skeletal Armory, Undying War General.]
[Innate skills: Advanced Combat Mastery, Advanced Warhammer Mastery, Advanced Heavy Armor Mastery, Junior Earth Elemental Spell Mastery.] → [Unconfirmed] ← [Innate skills: Advanced Swordsmanship Mastery, Advanced Shield Mastery, Advanced Spear Mastery, Advanced Battle Axe Mastery, Advanced Combat Mastery.]
The troop attributes of the two military camps appeared before his eyes.
This caused Fang Hao’s eyes to widen a bit.
So ‘synthesis’ meant this.
It wasn’t about simply merging two blueprints but required one to select the appropriate attributes to piece together the required troop attributes.
This was quite user-friendly.
Fang Hao looked at the attributes on both sides and pondered for a moment.
The troop name could remain blank for now; naming was too troublesome.
He directly chose ‘Undead’ for the campaign.
[Campaign: Undead]
The reason for choosing Undead was mainly due to the food issue.
Living creatures need to eat, and agriculture was still a major challenge in this era.
If he really recruited a million living troops, it could instantly bankrupt Fang Hao and even lead to direct collapse within his territory.
So, Undead was a must-choose option.
Next was [Racial Traits], where a limit was given—up to five traits.
It seemed only five traits were allowed to be chosen.
And after selecting the Undead campaign, the traits ‘Undead’, ‘Hollow Skeleton’, and ‘Weakness to Light’ were automatically added.
He had only two choices left to make.
He didn’t rush to choose and decided to review the corresponding attributes first.
The Divine Realm Guards had two traits.
“Giant Bloodline”: Mental control, soul interference, curses, toxins, doubled pain, and other negative attribute resistances +35%, physical resistance +15%, magic resistance +10%.
This attribute is actually quite nice.
The bloodlines of special races can provide very strong enhancements.
But this one doesn’t offer much help to the new troop type at hand.
Undead are naturally immune to many living creature states; toxins and doubled pain are utterly useless.
If the resulting creation was a type without Soul Fire, mental control and soul interference would also be pointless.
So, let’s not consider this one for now.
“Protective Stone Skin”: Innate Earth Elemental defense armor, physical resistance +50%, magic resistance +35%, Earth Elemental Magic resistance +75%.
This one’s good, directly increasing attributes, and the Earth Elemental Magic resistance is boosted by a whopping 75%.
It’s not complete immunity, but it’s still a significant number.
However, users of Earth Elemental Magic are relatively rare and not commonly seen.
After reviewing the attributes of the Divine Realm guards, it’s time to look at those of the Exorcist Hulks.
There are two unfamiliar attributes: “Bizarre Intimidation” and “Innate Four Arms”.
“Bizarre Intimidation”: The unit’s bizarre appearance can cause fear in those who see it, randomly generating emotions of horror, panic, and other chaos.
This attribute must be related to the four heads.
In battle, a fearsome and bizarre appearance is quite common.
Especially against living creatures, with a terrifying and odd look, the enemy might turn and flee upon seeing you, achieving victory without a fight.
But Fang Hao feels this is so-so.
His current enemies are not ordinary living creatures; the idea of scaring them into submission seems quite unlikely.
“Innate Four Arms”: The unit has four arms and can wield four weapons at the same time.
Now that’s good, Fang Hao likes this one.
One shield to block, with the rest flailing wildly.
After reviewing the attributes, he has an idea in mind.
He makes his selection directly.
“Racial traits: Undead, Hollow Skeleton, Light Weakness, Protective Stone Skin, Innate Four Arms”
With the traits selected, it’s time to choose skills.
Up to six skills max.
First are the skills of the ‘Divine Realm guards’.
“Smash” is an active skill that deals an extra 50% critical hit damage, “War Roar” is an active skill that lets out a ferocious roar, causing enemies in the vicinity to panic and become flustered, reducing all attributes by 5%.
Seems not so useful, and skeletons, being undead, can’t use their physical structure to roar anyway.
“Dizzying Strike” is an active skill that deals 120% critical hit damage and comes with Earth Elemental Magic, giving the target a 35% chance to be dazed.
“Might of the Crushing Mountain”: An active skill where the weapon is imbued with Earth Elemental Magic, increasing the chopping weight by 200%.
“Dizzying Strike” and “Might of the Crushing Mountain” are quite nice; they could be chosen as skills.
Continuing with the skills of the Exorcist Hulks.
“Shield Bash” and “Cleave” are both active offensive skills. “Shield Bash” has a 15% chance of making the target in front stumble backward.
Feel pretty average; they’re common skills.
“Necrotic Body”: A passive skill that grants +15% to all attributes and slowly auto-repairs damage in an environment filled with dark energy.
This skill suits the undead, but the condition of being filled with dark energy isn’t easy to achieve.
“Skeleton Arsenal”: A passive skill that allows the use of a variety of weapons and automatically coordinates the rhythm and style of weapon attacks.
This skill is quite important; coordinating attack styles is much like coordinating one’s own limbs.
You can hardly exert your full strength in battle if you’re not adept at walking.
“Undying War General”: An active skill that enters an offensive state, increasing attack power by +75% and defense by +35% for ‘120 seconds’.
That’s quite good too, a burst type of skill.
But it has a duration.
Fang Hao ponders for a moment.
Then he begins to choose the corresponding skills.
He selects each one.
“Skills: Smash, Dizzying Strike, Might of the Crushing Mountain, Necrotic Body, Skeleton Arsenal, Undying War General.”
The only one he deliberated long over was “Necrotic Body”.
Places filled with dark energy are too scarce; most battles take place outdoors.
But there are no better skill options.
“Smash” and “Cleave” actually fall into the same category; choosing one would suffice.
“Shield Bash” is for when holding a shield, causing an attack and a chance to knock back the enemy.
Seems not very useful; whether you knock back the enemy or not doesn’t change much.
After much thought, he still adds “Necrotic Body” to the list.
The last item is “innate abilities,” which has no quantity limit.
He adds all the abilities, except for the redundant “Advanced Combat Mastery,” right away.
Feels like, the more times this troop type is combined, the stronger it will become.
In the end, there’s only naming the troop type left.
He thinks for a while, finding it hard to come up with a good name.
After much contemplation.
He can’t waste all his time on naming, so he casually fills in “Four-Armed Skeleton General.”
It’s a name that combines its physical traits, a name that’s easy to understand.
A surge of light flickers on the blueprint.
“A new troop type synthesized: Four-Armed Skeleton General.”
“You have created a new troop type building.”
“Blueprint unlocked: Cemetery of Skeleton General construction blueprint.”
Three system notifications appear, signifying the successful synthesis of the blueprint.
Fang Hao wipes the sweat from his forehead, thankful there were two troop types to choose from; otherwise, he might have been stifled to death, unable to come up with any skills.
Ding!
Just as Fang Hao stands up, planning to go out and build the structure.
The Book of Lords, once again sends a private message notification.
It’s a message from ‘Cleolando’.
“Mr. Fang Hao, I’ve thoroughly investigated last night’s incident, and it truly was a Desert Lizardman playing tricks.”
