The Awakened and officials watched as two additional masses of black energy appeared on the distant horizon. The massive lumps of black energy dyed the sky in a dark hue.

Their powerful auras made everyone feel as if an eternal darkness was descending upon the world.

The instruments all over Mount Tai blared to life, warning them of the approaching formidable life signatures that they had long identified as the Nether Bulls.

Among all the beings that had descended from the Outer Cosmos, the Nether Bulls were the most active. The others seemed to have gone into hiding after landing.

In stark contrast, three Nether Bulls from the Thunderflash Starfield actually appeared before everyone. Before this, they acted alone, but this time, they chose to work together for some reason.

「There are actually three of them? Three Venerable King Realm beings? How are we supposed to fight that?」

「I guess Mount Tai is just that special, huh? They actually decided to work together just to seize it.」

"You three aren't bad. Surrender Mount Tai to us and become our servants," said the leader of the Nether Bulls in a booming voice. It accurately called out the words "Mount Tai." Clearly, they had studied Earth before their descent.

Upon arriving at Jade Emperor Peak, they wasted no time with pleasantries and demanded the immediate submission of the three beast kings.

Unfortunately for the three beast kings, strength reigned supreme, and the three Nether Bulls were far stronger than they were.

"You wish!" the Peacock King roared in fury. "Mount Tai has always belonged to us, the native creatures of this world. Why should we hand it over to you? You want us to submit? What a joke! Given enough time, can you really say you'll remain stronger than us?"

As beast kings, their pride was immense. How could they tolerate orders from these beings from the Outer Cosmos? If it weren't for its severe injuries, it would fight regardless of the odds of winning.

"Words are useless. Submission is impossible. The only option is to fight," the Spirit Monkey remarked, its temper flaring as its golden fur stood on end. The iron cudgel in its hand burst with light, seemingly itching for battle like its owner.

The Nine-tailed Fox King said nothing, but its resolute gaze said everything. The blessed lands of Earth belonged to the creatures of Earth. The beings before them were nothing but invaders.

The major clans of the starfields outside had given the name "Milky Way Starfield" to this region of the universe.

"They're just lesser creatures. No need to waste any more words," said a Nether Bull, directly branding the three beast kings as "lesser creatures."

Despite looking like the embodiment of the word "beast" itself, the Nether Bulls were more condescending than human beings could be. They acted as if they were creatures from a higher plane of existence looking down on primitive beings.

When everyone watching saw it, they were horrified. The beings from outer space were far more powerful than they had imagined. If humans were in the three beast kings' place, they wouldn't stand a chance against the Nether Bulls.

The waves of pressure emanating from them alone could easily crush someone to death.

However, beast kings were still beast kings. Their formidable bloodlines allowed them to push forward once more, despite being forced to retreat two steps backward.

"It seems you want to die," said one of the Nether Bulls. Then, it roared and extended its claws to attack.

In response, the Peacock King unleashed its power. He was determined to make these invaders pay, even if it meant dying at their hands.

Just then, a powerful wave of energy swept across them. The new wave of energy was as violent as an erupting volcano, and a streak of golden vital qi appeared immediately afterward. It pierced the black energy shrouding the Jade Emperor Peak, looking like golden rays of sunlight vanquishing the night.

Moments later, Lu Yuan appeared in the sky. He seemed to be walking through the tempest of aura all over Jade Emperor Peak. As he descended, the energy emanating from the three Venerable Kings parted.

In the face of the Nether Bull's claws, he said nothing and simply punched it.

A burst of golden vital qi rippled outward, scattering the clouds in the sky.

"King Lu!" The Spirit Monkey and the other two beast kings sighed in relief upon seeing him. Then, they stared in disbelief at the Nether Bull retreating with its limb cracked open.

Lu Yuan was far stronger than they had initially imagined.

「He knocked that bull back with a single strike. How?」

The viewers watching the livestream were thrilled at the sight.

This was strange. Someone as powerful as him couldn't be in the Milky Way Starfield so early. In other words, Lu Yuan had to be from the Outer Cosmos instead of a native of Earth.

"Who am I? I'm your killer," Lu Yuan replied. Then, he wasted no time and stepped forward, unleashing the surging power inside him.

A boundless tidal wave of golden vital qi erupted. Then, it transformed into an ocean of golden vital qi, engulfing everything within several hundred meters of him.

Lu Yuan's organs pulsed, generating noises that no longer sounded like war drums, but like the rumblings of thunder.
