Global Awakening: Apocalypse Ender's Chronicle-Chapter 1092: The Advance Team
Shane wasted no time. After declaring war in the clan chat, he opened private channels to two trusted allies, Travis of the Drakeheart Vanguard, and Natalie of the New Haven Clan.
He quickly sent the same urgent message to both.
[ Shane: I need information. Phoenix Phalanx ambushed Raze, stole Roan, and maimed her. We’re declaring war. Do you know their shelter locations? ]
The replies came almost immediately.
[ Natalie: Oh god... Raze? That’s horrible. I’ll help however I can. I know they have shelters in Sector 15 and Sector 19. But I’ve heard rumors of a smaller outpost in Sector 20 as well. ]
[ Travis: I already know all of them... Actually, my spies have been watching them for months. They’ve got shelters in Sector 15, 19, and 20, yes. But also in Sector 3 and Sector 6. They took some decent locations to collect resources. I’ve mapped every one... Do you need them all? ]
Shane’s eyes narrowed as he read Travis’s message.
[ Shane: Wow. You had spies on them all this time? ]
[ Travis: Of course. Phoenix Phalanx are ambitious, but sloppy. They think they can expand without anyone noticing. I’ve been feeding my Vanguard intel for weeks. You’re lucky I’m your friend, Shane. Otherwise, I’d be selling this information to the highest bidder. ]
Shane smirked grimly. Travis was terrifyingly cunning, ruthless, and always prepared thanks to his Clones. Up until now, he actually had no idea how many clones this person had.
Nonetheless, he was also a solid ally. Their partnership ran deep with the production of oil, so Shane wasn’t worried about any betrayal from this person.
[ Shane: I owe you. Please send all the information you have about this Clan. ]
[ Natalie: If you want, I’ll increase food shipments to your shelters. If you’re going to war, your people will need supplies. Eclipse Revenant’s weapons are the best. ]
Apparently, Natalie’s clan was now the largest food supplier to Shane’s shelter. After all, they couldn’t always rely on fish, vegetables, and bread.
[ Travis: If you need anything more. Just let me know. I can lend some of my Elite Warriors if you want. ]
[ Shane: Thank you. I will inform you if I need more assistance. ]
Just like that, Kai obtained the information he needed about the five shelters.

Shane sat in the command room of Eclipse Domain...
In his map, there were red marks on Sector 3, Sector 6, Sector 15, Sector 19, and Sector 20. Each one represented a Phoenix Phalanx shelter, each one a potential target.
He leaned forward, eyes narrowing as he studied them one by one.
With the information provided by the two Clan Leaders, he confirmed their shelters’ locations
Sector 3 was positioned near the northern cliff. The terrain was rocky, rich in minerals, and difficult to traverse. Phoenix Phalanx had likely chosen it for mining operations, extracting ore and rare stones to fuel their weapon production. It was a resource shelter, not a command hub.
Sector 6 was located near the old industrial ruins. That place was infamous for scavengers who combed through rusted factories and collapsed warehouses, salvaging machinery and scrap. Phoenix Phalanx would have used it to gather mechanical parts, maybe even old generators. Useful, but not where they’d keep a dragon.
Sector 15 was near Green Lake. A prime location for water and fish supplies, with fertile land for farming. Shane knew this shelter was important for sustaining their population. But it was too exposed, too close to trade routes. Alexander wouldn’t risk keeping Roan here.
Sector 19, on the other hand, was deep inland, surrounded by dense forest. The terrain was natural cover, perfect for defense. Travis’s spies had already reported heavier patrols and stronger talisman stockpiles here. Shane’s gut told him this was the heart of Phoenix Phalanx. If Roan were alive, he would have been chained inside Sector 19.
As for Sector 20, it was a smaller outpost, likely a staging ground. Natalie had mentioned rumors of its existence, but it was too minor to matter. It was probably a fallback shelter, nothing more.
Shane exhaled slowly as he made up his mind.
"Five shelters... but only one matters."
He checked the information about Sector 19 once again. It was the forested terrain, showing defensive walls, patrol routes, and supply caches...
"This is their main base," Shane muttered. "Alexander will keep Roan here. If we break Sector 19, the rest will crumble."
He thought of Raze, broken and bleeding, her left arm gone. He thought of Roan, bound in chains, his dragon blood being harvested drop by drop. Fury burned in his chest.
Shane took a deep breath as he began giving more information to Cloud, his A.I. Assistant... This way, he wouldn’t forget about all of this.
Anyway, Sector 3 and 6 would be secondary targets since they were resource shelters and destroying them would cut off Phoenix Phalanx’s supply lines. Sectors 15 and 20 would be eliminated later, once the main hub was destroyed. But Sector 19... that was the priority.
Shane then paused for a moment, his mind already calculating how he would be sending his people...
After some time, the plan was forming...
The Phoenix Phalanx would be annihilated.

After just a few hours of planning, the advanced team rolled out under the cover of night with an armored vehicle. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
At the front were Kael and Jaxon, Raze’s first teammates from the day they were transported into this apocalyptic world.
Behind them sat three other Super Soldiers, each armed to the teeth, their eyes scanning the horizon for threats.
The vehicle had faced countless battles, but it was reliable. Soon, they had activated an Anti-Zombie Talisman, its aura spreading outward like a protective curtain. With this, low-tier and mid-tier zombies would just move away from the road, unwilling to approach.
The group remained silent as they were outside the shelter. Strong zombies could appear at any time, so they should be ready.
Just like that, the armored car sped forward... Then, from the treeline, dozens of glowing eyes appeared...
The Anti‑Zombie Talisman pulsed weakly, but something was wrong...
"They’re high-tier zombies... Get ready!" Jaxon said as he pulled out a deck of cards.
