Ghost Exorciser: The Oust Fake Heiress Strikes-Chapter 150: OP friend
Meanwhile, Lana stood up and then looked at Naina and said,
"Even if I haven’t prepared a gift in advance, I still have something that would definitely make your mood good."
Naina looked at Lana curiously, and Lana took out a stack of yellow papers. The moment Naina saw those yellow papers, she immediately recognized them as talismans.
The moment she saw those talismans, she stared at Lana in surprise.
Lana then pushed a stack of yellow talismans towards Naina and said,
"These are basically exorcism talismans. As long as you use it on ghost-possessing cultivation below 5 years, then you can exorcise it with a flick of your finger."
Naina was surprised hearing Lana’s story and stared at the talismans with widened eyes.
Who doesn’t know that talismans, even the basic-level ones, are worth millions of dollars, let alone special connections?
Naina immediately shook her head and said, "This is too precious. I can’t accept it."
But at the same time, her heart welled up with joy.
After all, her own parents had given her some kind of cheap bags and sometimes even went as far as forgetting them altogether.
But for the first time, someone had apologized to her for not remembering her birthday and even went ahead and bought something that couldn’t be bought with just money.
It required a special connection. Even if someone claimed that they can get talismans, a single talisman might cause a lot of special connections.
Now, looking at a stack of other talismans that was pushed in her direction, Naina knew that it might have caused a lot of connections.
Lana checked and said, "You don’t need to worry. These were something that I had gotten by my own capabilities."
Naina looked at Lana hesitantly, and Lana said, "If you don’t accept it, then I will consider it you not forgiving me at all."
Hearing these words for the first time, Naina paused, then looked at Lana with a touched expression and accepted them.
But at the same time, she even vowed in her heart that if she got a chance, she would definitely repay Lana someday.
Meanwhile, Lana’s eyes were suddenly attracted towards Naina, and she frowned when she saw the black clouds that were slightly lingering above Naina.
Lana continued to stare at it in the hopes that she would get some kind of vision or clue, but even after a long while, she didn’t see anything.
She was disappointed; however, she tried her best not to show it on her face and instead looked at Naina, saying,
"You might encounter some kind of bad luck in the future, and hence you need to make sure that you don’t go somewhere unclean."
Hearing those words, Naina immediately nodded and said, "I will take care of it."
But then she paused and looked at Lana, asking, "What unclean places?"
And Lana almost had the urge to cry. She said, "Places like a cemetery or places where there are ghost zones."
Hearing those words, Naina immediately nodded and suddenly thought about something.
She looked at Lana with a strange gaze, asking, "How do you know that I might encounter something bad?"
And Lana said, "It is just because I can see a black cloud that is clouding above your head."
Naina’s eyes widened in disbelief, and she pointed at Lana, asking, "Do you have a third eye?"
After all, everyone knows about the third eye and how rare people are who have awakened their third eye.
When Lana nodded, Naina couldn’t help but mutter, "I have truly made an OP friend this time."
Lana laughed.
Meanwhile, Naina continued, "My boss is going to take the entire company on a field trip."
Hearing those words, Lana couldn’t help but frown and ask, "What kind of a field trip?"
Naina waved her hand, saying,
"It is a safe kind. In fact, it is just near a picnic spot and a mountain, and that mountain is regularly exorcised by some priest and celestial masters who are friends with the city lord of this city."
Hearing those words, Lana frowned and said,
"I don’t know how bad things will be... however, it won’t be any life-threatening disaster, most likely some injuries, and if you should, you should avoid going."
Hearing those words, Naina immediately nodded and said, "Then I won’t go."
But the moment she finished speaking, Lana saw something that made her blood cold.
The black fog lingering above Naina’s head had started to turn a hint of red, and she immediately shook her head, saying,
"No. You need to go on the picnic trip, because a red cloud has suddenly appeared in the black cloud."
Hearing those words, Naina was frightened and patted her chest, saying, "I will go, I will go."
She looked at Lana expectantly, who looked at the black cloud that had now changed from red and black to directly black, and she heaved a sigh of relief.
Naina couldn’t help but speak.
"If I stayed more at the picnic spot, maybe I would be able to avoid whatever was going to come in my way."
The moment she finished speaking, she looked at Lana for some kind of reaction, while Lana looked at the cloud above Naina’s head.
She waited and waited. However, the black cloud didn’t budge at all, and she shook her head at Naina, who frowned.
They decided not to talk about this topic anymore, since the black cloud wasn’t much. Lana believed that it wouldn’t harm Naina at all and that she would be able to dodge whatever disaster was going to come her way.
They talked and ate, and just as they finished, Lana left for a restroom break.
After she returned, she returned with a cake, and she brought it to the table.
The moment Naina saw the cake, she couldn’t help but smile.
To say that she didn’t guess would be a lie. But yet, she was still thrilled when her guess was confirmed, and she looked at Lana with tears in her eyes, muttering, "Thank you."
