Getting a Sugar Mommy in Cultivation World!!-Chapter 249 Change and Xin Yan’s Resolve! (Part 2)
"Why did you do that, grandfather? He cannot be trusted! He… he-"
"He did not kill Tian Boy!" Before she could complete her sentence, the old man corrected her in the middle; he knew what she would say and did not want her to do that.
"I know how much you cared about that boy, I did too, but he died because of the poison, not because he killed him by taking over." There was pain and heaviness in his voice as he looked at his granddaughter.
"But-"
"Do you think Xin Yan, the 'mother' of that child, wants to see someone else using her son's body… I have seen the pain in her eyes, even though she masks it pretty well, but she is in pain every time she sees the body of her son being used by that guy.." Ruo'er turned silent, hearing his argument as she was well aware in her heart that he was right.
"I just…"
"I know you are hurting, but hurting others that are not related to what happened won't relieve that pain." Ruo'er shed tears, feeling her grandfather patting her head. "Either you can believe what Long Tian promised and wait for him, or you can move on with your life. The choice is all yours."
"No! I will always wait for Brother Tian, no matter how long it takes for him to arrive. I will grow so strong that I can wait for him for eons if it will take him that much time." She announced with firm resolve in her eyes. The old man sighed at her stubbornness but he also smiled seeing her finally making up her mind.

"Talking about massacres like it's an everyday brunch." Xin Yan started teasing Noah, catching his attention.
She had noticed Noah and Elysia going downstairs so she followed after them, seeing.
This was not the first time she came down here. When Noah used to spend long nights studying and working on various things, she brought him food downstairs and even did her best to help him.
"Just completing the stone as soon as possible so I can leave the body."
"Don't overwork yourself; you can take it slow. I am in no hurry." Xin Yan smiled warmly at Noah as she said those words. Noah opened his mouth to reply, but he closed it as no words came out.
He could easily see the pain in her eyes; the way she looked at him with complicated expressions did not change from the day he told her about her son's death.
"I don't want to be the soul of that immortal woman, and beside her forces must have launched their forces to search the mortal worlds and look for me." He sighed and gave her a random reason for his hurry.
"As long as you are fine, it's alright." She replied before looking around at the things placed in the room one by one. "Noah, do you think I can break through now?"
Hearing her question, Noah froze. He started thinking about the reason; he did not want to break through.
It was mostly because of her inner demon; if it were before, he would have been worried about the regret of her son's death. He knew she had no choice but to face those fears somewhere in her heart.
"I have done all I can physically; all that's left is for me to face my mental demons." Seemingly aware of Noah's worries, she spoke them out loud. Stay updated through novelbuddy
He contemplated for a while before nodding in agreement with her suggestion.
"But you should be as prepared as you can just in case." Elysia also chimed in from the side; she was worried about her as well. After living for such a long time, they came to be close friends with each other.
"I am as ready as I can be; if I stay like this just from the fear of a mental demon, I will never be able to break through."
"Come with me.." Noah waved his hands and pulled both of the women inside the pagoda with him. They did not show any signs of rejection and let Noah pull them inside the powerful artifact he had received some time ago.
*Woosh!*
The three of them appeared in a huge library with many sections of shelves and books placed wherever one could look. Many shelves were even flowing in the air.
Noah gave Xin Yan permission to look around and select the techniques that might help her and also the ones that suit her. He also asked to take a cultivation technique if she could find a more suitable one than the one she was practicing currently.
"Just think about the kind of books you want; they will come to you," Noah instructed her for a while before he moved to another floor along with Elysia.

The two of them appeared on the lowest floor of the floor. Before Elysia could ask anything, Noah pulled out the familiar-looking object from his storage ring.
"Is it time?"
"Yeah, I will be able to refine it today." The smile on Noah's face was enough to tell how important the thing was to him. Soon a warm golden aura filled the room enveloping Noah in it.
Noah looked at the golden-colored lotus in his palms before he closed his eyes and immersed himself in the meditation.
The fact that Noah was able to use the lotus even before he could form his core meant that it was not the Golden Blossom Lotus; otherwise, Noah would have blown up, no matter how strong his foundation was. The gap between the two realms was, after all, very vast.
A golden energy was released from Noah's body and connected with the lotus. This energy was none other than his Soul energy.
The energy wrapped around the whole lotus before it disappeared without a trace.
Noah received the details of how to refine the lotus the moment he broke the shell protecting the lotus along with the details of the lotus. This lotus was more powerful and rare than just a mere golden blossom lotus.
It was the Soul Blossoming Lotus!
