Getting a Sugar Mommy in Cultivation World!!-Chapter 230 The Reason!
As the man exploded his aura on Noah, he was not expecting to see the boy being unfazed by it. Noah was sitting on the rock as if there was nothing wrong.
How could he not be fazed under his aura? He was someone in the golden core realm, after all! The only other person, besides the cultivator from the royal family, he was the only one who was this strong!
After looking carefully, he noticed a very thin and focused layer of golden light on the boy that he might not have noticed if not for his high cultivation base. He wanted to ask about that from the boy, but someone else interrupted him before he could even open his mouth.
"Wait, are you saying he is the guy who made our home what it is now?" Xin Yan, who was still shocked, snapped out of her thoughts and asked with an elevated voice. She was a little annoyed that she was living in a place made by someone like Liu Zhen. Among the bodies on the floor, most of them belonged to children who were below 15 years of age.
"Yep, the same guy?"
"How did you know?"
"Idiot left some bones under from his experiments under the house in the basement."
"What?! There were dead bodies in our home? There is a basement too, why didn't you tell me?"
"Well, I cleaned it-"
"SHUT UP!!!" Seeing the woman appearing out of nowhere, Liu Zhen was shocked and a little panicked, thinking how could he not notice her before. He would have thought she was a powerful cultivator, but knowing that there were no female golden core cultivators in the empire, he thought she was just hiding her cultivation.
He realized that he, someone who was at the third layer of the Golden Core realm, was being treated as air. He could not sit still. Enraged, he lashed out at the two of them, sending an attack at Xin Yan from his place.
*Woosh*
A bloody skull came out of his fist and charged straight at Xin Yan, trying to devour her whole.
*BOOM!*
Liu Zhen frowned, seeing the blood mist filling the room after his attack collided with Xin Yan.
'This is not what was supposed to happen. This only happens when my attack fails.' His eyes gained a wary expression as he waited for the mist to disperse.
*Whi…pack!!*
*Smack!*
He did not have to wait long as the sound of air being torn by a whip sounded before something heavy struck the ground, causing cracks to spread all over the floor.
As the mist dispersed because of the air, Xin Yan's figure revealed itself to both of them.
Noah grinned, seeing the changes in Xin Yan's appearance, while the man tensed in fear.
Liu Zhen was scared to see the inhuman part extending out of Xin Yan's body. Her scaled wings, similar to that of a dragon, were joined together, acting like a shield in the front, while her thick and hardtail rested on the ground.
As her wings moved back to their original position, her beautiful figure, covered in scales and thick skin, came into their view.
She was no longer wearing any robe, since there were no shredded clothes on the ground, Noah assumed that she changed them at the last moment.
Her private parts were covered by hard-looking crystal-clear blue scales. Her bare, slim stomach lay in front of Noah's eyes, seducing him to trace his fingers on her delicate skin.
Soon the scales started to grow and spread in all directions. They only stopped the moment they reached her cheeks. Her hands and feet seemed to have transformed into a more claw-like structure.
Seeing the inhumane appearance of the woman in front of him, Liu Zhen trembled in fear.
He did not want to tremble, but every fiber in his body was screaming at him to bow down and beg for mercy from the 'being' standing in front of him.
"Who… who are you, senior?" This time, the man's question was directed at Xin Yan, and his words were filled with fear and cowardice.
"Still with the questions…" Noah got up from his seat and walked forward, " I am the one asking questions here; answer that first. Then I will answer your question.
"Why did you work for that Demon woman and…"
"You know the Demon Empress!" Hearing the familiar name of the demoness, Liu Zhen's eyes gained a ray of light and 'hope,' but that light and hope were shattered the moment he heard Noah's next statement.
"Know her…, Met her…, Killed her!" Noah strolled around the guy as he started explaining in a mused tone. He stressed the last words slowly to let the news seep deep into the man's ears.

"That's not possible. The empress is an immortal!!" He retorted in anger and tried to turn towards Noah, but Xin Yan's eyes boring into his figure made him rethink the decision.
"She was an immortal. Now she is a dead immortal!" Noah clarified for the man. He did not mind the aggressive look on the man's face and continued, " So why help her? What did she promise that you did not have? You are clearly already very famous-"
"Famous?!" The man roared in anger, " Can being famous allow me to live longer? Can it give me more strength?!"
"All I want in my life was to reach the pinnacle of being the array master! I had a talent for arrays and Feng Shui, but what I did not have the talent for was cultivation. Before I could ever cross the boundaries of the foundation establishment realm, I was dying of old age."
Taking a deep breath to calm himself, the man continued,
"Everything changed after I met her! It was around the time I came to visit the Golden Edge City. Then I came across a portal, where I met her. She gave me a new technique that could ignore my talent and allow me to break through-"
"And in return, you had to help her with spreading the rumor about the golden Blossom Lotus and make the three great sects of the Empire visit the portal and trap them inside." Noah completed his words while looking straight into his eyes.
"So what are you going to judge me for what I did?" He scoffed while looking at Xin Yan from the corner of his eyes; he knew that he would be able to go out of this place alive if he did not do something.
As they were speaking, he secretly started covering the room with an array formations he had created, thinking he might take them off guard.
