As Sian slowly turned his face, he was confronted by the sight of Lan Qisheng’s eyes wide with a mix of fear and anxiety. The raw emotion etched on Lan’s features spoke volumes—he understood the weight of his disgraceful actions toward Sian. Despite the title of lover that hung between them, it was painfully clear that Sian had never fully embraced him or their connection. The tension in the air crackled with unspoken words, revealing the chasm that had grown between them, underscoring the reality of their fractured relationship.
For the first time in his life, Colonel Lan regretted his impulsiveness. He was just about to open his mouth to apologize when he heard a soft voice say, "Do you want to do it?"
The beautiful icy-blue eyes widened in shock, and silence filled the room for a few minutes.
Then, Lan Qisheng asked to confirm that his ears hadn’t deceived him, "Did you just say... do it?"
Sian raised an eyebrow. What’s wrong with this idiot? He touched me all over, yet he doesn’t want to sleep with me? He spoke his thoughts out loud, "Oh? Don’t tell me you were feeling me up just for fun. As a man, don’t you know that’s a cruel thing to do?"
At that moment, Lan Qisheng realized that the boy wasn’t joking—he truly wanted him, just as much as he wanted the boy. Fireworks exploded in the mind of a certain puppy, and his icy-blue eyes, which once resembled a frozen sea, were now filled with mixed yet dazzling emotions. They shone so brightly that they resembled a luminous blue lake on a beautiful spring day.
In one swift motion, Lan Qisheng flipped Sian over and covered the small teenager’s body with his broad frame.
Sian stared at the man pressing down on him in surprise, his beautiful face gradually cracking.
That was because Lan Qisheng had grabbed both of Sian’s wrists and pinned them above his head against the large, black velvet bed. The contrast between the boy’s milky-white arms and the dark sheets painted a breathtakingly seductive picture.
Ba-dump!
Sian let out a small cry of pain and snapped angrily, "Can’t you be a little gentler?"
The man above him raised an eyebrow slightly, his free hand already slipping under Sian’s clothes. "How gentle do you want me to be?"
Lowering his body, he brought his nose close to Sian’s neck and took a deep inhale. "You smell so good, baby."
Sian’s neck tensed, and he threw his legs between the man’s. What’s with this puppy? Did he enter some sort of dominant, feral heat? What does he even mean by asking how gentle he should be?
The man above him chuckled lightly and swiftly pressed Sian’s legs down, pinning them easily beneath his own.
Sian snorted coldly, his face carrying a hint of naked provocation. "How shameless of you, Colonel. What is this hard thing? Is it a toothpick?"
"Heh, not bad! I’ve always loved that sharp tongue of yours."
Sian’s words were completely inappropriate, poking at the very nerve that all men hated to be touched—especially since it was the furthest thing from the truth.
Lan Qisheng’s expression darkened slightly as he hovered over Sian. A strange, thrilling shudder coursed through him—one he had never felt before. Lowering his head, he let himself enjoy the moment.
"You still have a chance to refuse," he whispered against Sian’s neck, releasing the boy’s wrists and legs from his firm grip. With a sigh, he added, "You can sleep in another room if you want. Because if you stay with me tonight, I will eat you up this time."
The sudden change in events left Sian dumbfounded.
"You’re kicking me out?" he asked in shock.
With difficulty, Lan Qisheng nodded. "You’re still young. Maybe you only kissed me because of the heat of the moment... You might regret it later."
"Hah," Sian scoffed loudly. He pushed Lan Qisheng onto the bed with all his strength and straddled him. His face was slightly flushed from the previous excitement, and his breath was shallow as he spoke. "I already took my pants off, and this is what you’re telling me? Lan Qisheng, do you have no dignity as a man? If you want to have me, then do it properly! Why ignite the fire and stop halfway, you stupid puppy?"
A loud explosion went off in Lan Qisheng’s mind, obliterating what little reason he had left.
In the dim lighting, Lan Qisheng could see Sian’s stunningly seductive appearance—his eyes shimmering slightly with unbridled lust, his shoulder-length hair resting against his smooth skin and shifting temptingly.
Sitting on top of him, Sian could feel something growing bigger and bigger beneath him. To be honest, he had never done this sort of thing before—not with a girl, and certainly not with a man. Though many had desired him and wanted to have a physical relationship, Sian had only lived for the sake of surviving, carrying on for the sake of his family’s sacrifice. Love and relationships had never been part of his plan.
But now... Since he was in a new, peaceful world and had such a handsome and strong lover, he was going to take this opportunity to bid farewell to his lifelong celibacy.
Sian was never the shy type.
With a light tug on Lan Qisheng’s hand, Sian felt his body lose balance, and he fell against the man’s chest. Then, the world spun, and in the next moment, he was pinned back onto the bed.
Lan Qisheng’s hands roamed over Sian’s body with urgency. Then, suddenly, he leaned down, releasing hot breaths against Sian’s lips before finally capturing them in a deep, searing kiss—the kiss he had dreamed of for the past two months.
"Now, my little one... Even if you want to escape, you can’t anymore."
A hand dared to cross the fragile space between them, slipping beneath Sian’s loose garments with measured intent. His breath hitched as fingers traced along the fabric’s edge, testing the boundaries of patience before settling with a feather-light touch. The warmth of a hesitant yet deliberate caress mapped the contours of his form, leaving a trail of unspoken tension in its wake.
Sian’s body shook uncontrollably, a mix of fear and excitement rushing through him like electricity. It was a feeling he couldn’t quite grasp—exhilarating yet terrifying all at once. His heart raced as sensations bombarded him, leaving him lightheaded and not knowing how to respond; everything was moving at a breakneck pace, and he was being swept up on the wave of the moment.
His body relaxed and pliant, he put his arms around Lan Qisheng’s neck, returning the man’s next kiss.
The night loomed overhead, a vast and unyielding sea of darkness that seemed to stretch on forever. To Sian, every minute was an eternity, as shadows curled and writhed about him like ghostly apparitions. Meanwhile, a certain puppy romped in bliss, thoroughly enjoying his long-awaited banquet of treats. With each savoury bite, he savoured the moment, praying fervently for dawn to tarry, for the sorcery of the night to linger awhile.
Muted groans were suspended in the stillness of the night, entwining with the gentle, cadent creak of the old wooden bed. Each creak seemed to resound like a heartbeat, a stifled harmony that filled the atmosphere with a strained intimacy. Shadows danced upon the walls, illuminated only by the faint glow of moonlight peeking through the curtains, making the atmosphere in the environment surreal. The air was thick with palpable energy as if night itself was woven with unspoken longing.
Sian let out a weak sigh as he woke up in the morning. At first glance, this man might seem like a proper gentleman.
But in truth, he was a beast in bed.
That bastard... He has no sense of restraint!
-----------------------------------------------------
Sian: "This bastard...Let me go. We’re done. Our relationship is over..."
The puppy, carrying someone in his arms as he headed toward the bathroom, said, "Baby, don’t say that. Look at you, you’re so weak right now. Don’t worry, as a qualified boyfriend, I’ll make sure to clean every inch of you—inside and out."
Sian: "..." Don’t think I don’t understand what you mean! "Put me down! Let go of me! I don’t want to take a bath! Stay away from me!"
The puppy, struggling as his mischievous little cat scratched him, sighed, "Stop moving, darling... you’re making this difficult for me."
And so, Sian, who had lived through the apocalypse, found himself more exhausted now than he had ever been back then.
Lan Qisheng: "You’re making me look terrible, author. Am I such a tireless monster who throws his lover around like this until he passes out?"
Erato-san: "Hmm... let’s see... Of course.
One hundred per cent.
Absolutely.
Precisely."
Lan Qisheng: "..." I get it, I get it. I’m a monster. Stop it already.
