From Apocalypse To Entertainment Circle (BL)-Chapter 63: The Battle of Heaven’s Garden
Chapter 63: The Battle of Heaven’s Garden
While Sian stood with the Xia family, Lan Qisheng occupied his seat. Not that he did not wish to stand alongside his lover, but somehow it seemed like these criminals had no idea who he was as the CEO of one of the most powerful corporations.
Lan Qisheng surveyed his surroundings with vigilant delicacy, senses pickled and on sharp picket. There was tension in the air as he poised, muscle knotted like a tense spring, set to bounce into action at the slightest cue from Sian. Every little detail of the ambience became radiantly distinct in his scorching perception—the whispery crackle of leaves being stirred somewhere in the background, the distant rumble of conversation, and the faint whiff of damp earth—all uniting into his hot perception as he waited for the signal.
Meanwhile, Sian held Madam Xia and Ziming’s hands as he gazed around.
The robbers had queued up more than fifteen people beside him and were also negotiating on the phone seemingly.
While Sian tracked the black alleys of the garden, his senses heightened, he searched for a chance, waiting for the right time to attack. Suddenly, a cacophony shattered the tense air as the arrival of masked men on the scene caught everyone off guard. Their arrival was nothing less than pyrotechnic—bursting in with an aura of relentless ferocity, they knocked out the armed bandits in a flash of precision that bordered on the horrifying yet mesmerizing. The garden, once a calm background, was transformed into mayhem as the intruders let loose their skills with savage resolve, taking over space with every calculated move.
Sian and Lan Qisheng, who was sitting in his chair, surprised also by this unexpected meeting, looked at each other with questioning faces. Tension filled the air surrounding them like an open challenge as comprehension came that the men standing in front of them were from no organization connected with the authorities. Suspicions rushed through their minds like rustling leaves carried off by the wind: Who were these strangers who suddenly turned up? Why did they appear so unexpectedly? Were they really here to help, or did they come with a secret motive that was not yet disclosed?
Lan Qisheng’s mind was spinning with dozens of questions, but he didn’t sit back and do nothing. He jumped up from the ground and went into the immediate fray of nearby armed bandits.
Madam Xia grasped Sian’s hand in wild urgency, knuckles clenched in fear. They engulfed them with the chaos of a storm, as the newcomers in their masks plunged into fierce battles, their steps smooth and confident. They weaved through the combat with remarkable agility, overpowering the weapon-wielding robbers with ease, as if they were playthings. The tension-filled air, punctuated by screams and the sound of bodies crashing against each other, transformed the hitherto peaceful atmosphere into one of utter chaos. What took everyone’s breath away was the phenomenal display of expertise; this new bunch dominated their foes with nothing more than bare hands, showing a fighting mastery that was unbelievable.
Watching intently from the side, Sian realized something: the newcomers appeared to be buddies in this chaotic situation. Their movements were deliberate and surgical, aimed directly at the criminals that surrounded them. With every swift action, they cleverly diverted the attention away from the terrified spectators, opting to rescue rather than assault those who were trapped in the middle. Sian could see that these newcomers did not intend to kill the innocent onlookers, further cementing their role as protectors rather than enemies. At that moment, he knew that there was no need for violence; they could be trusted to provide a sense of security amidst the turmoil.
With this in consideration, Sian felt relieved. He had been struggling to find a way of dealing with all these criminals without any casualties. The arrival of this team had lifted a massive burden from his shoulders.
Seeing the chaos break out, the hostages in the queue at the garden edge began to flee for cover. Some were shot dead in the crossfire, but others managed to survive.
Sian was about to instruct the Xia family to leave when he noticed some of the guests acting suspiciously. Although they appeared frightened, they were clandestinely approaching them.
These were not ordinary guests.
They were the criminals—those Sian had previously identified as infiltrators who blended in with the hostages. And now, having witnessed their fellow comrades lose, they had made their moves.
"Ziming, Weilian, move aside. Regardless, don’t budge."
Sian’s voice was firm as he took off his jacket and loosened a few buttons on his white shirt.
As he continued on his way, he could still sense Madam Xia’s hand clutching his. He turned and met her eye—full of fear and worry.
But not for herself.
She was afraid for him.
Sian’s amber eyes glinted with mixed emotions. With a flicker of hesitation, he let out a soft sigh and patted Madam Xia’s hand reassuringly.
"Mother, I’ll be fine. Trust me and wait with the others."
Once again, that single word—"Mother"—worked like magic. Madam Xia hesitated before finally releasing him.
The twins watched the situation unfold with concern, but they weren’t foolish or reckless. They knew the best thing they could do now was to stay hidden while the real fighter handled the crisis.
Oh, but don’t misunderstand. It wasn’t that the twins blindly trusted Sian’s strength and waited for his protection.
No, they had seen something from the corner of their eyes—Lan Qisheng approaching.
And as their Shu Shu, even if they weren’t related by blood, Lan Qisheng was a reliable figure.
He would protect them.
After landing a few decisive blows on the men in his path, Lan Qisheng reached Sian’s side.
"It looks like this team is on our side, at least for now. So you can relax," he said. "And as I’ve told you before, even if you fight, you are not allowed to kill anyone, Sian."
"I know, I know. I get it. Stop lecturing me and deal with those guys."
Sian sighed impatiently, nodding toward the approaching figures.
Lan Qisheng wasn’t naive. One look was enough to tell that these weren’t mere guests but assassins.
The two assumed combat stances. And before the eyes of everyone present, Sian and Lan Qisheng began taking out the trash.
Lan Qisheng’s strength was expected—no one was surprised to see his opponents collapse after a few well-placed punches and kicks.
But what truly left everyone, including the Xia family, utterly stunned—was Sian.
The sight of the silver-haired boy, his shimmering strands dancing through the air with each fluid motion, was mesmerizing.
He was nothing short of a human weapon.
With a single manoeuvre, he incapacitated more than three men.
Ziming, watching intently, noticed something chilling—every single one of Sian’s moves targeted vital or sensitive points on the body. There was no doubt that his opponents would be permanently crippled.
Swallowing hard, Ziming recalled the last time Xian had injured him.
[He only fractured my limp last time... No, it wasn’t even a fracture, just a small crack... Thank god I didn’t push him further. And thank god he wasn’t serious back then, or else—]
His thoughts were interrupted when he saw a man collapse to the ground, his arm twisted at an unnatural angle. A shiver ran down his spine.
[Dear heavens... I will never provoke this monster again. Never.]
With that decision, Ziming clung to his mother and brother, continuing to watch the elegant yet deadly figure in the garden. He sighed.
Beauty truly was lethal.
Sian didn’t stray far from the Xia family, focusing solely on eliminating threats approaching them. If anything unexpected happened, he needed to be close to protect them.
Meanwhile, Lan Qisheng, a man of strong principles, seeing that Sian had the Xia family covered, took it upon himself to protect the other guests and keep them out of harm’s way.
The number of criminals wasn’t overwhelmingly large, and with the assistance of the masked newcomers, they were subdued with relative ease.
Minutes after the battle began, the outcome was clear.
Corpses lay scattered across the ground. Some criminals groaned in agony, writhing from the brutal strikes of Sian and Lan Qisheng—who, despite their skills, had refrained from killing anyone.
The air was filled with the lingering echoes of screams and sobs from guests who had only moments ago stared death in the face.
And just like that, the battle of Heaven’s Garden had come to an end.

And who was the team that rescued Sian and the others?
Ah, actually, I can answer that last one—it’s easy and doesn’t need much explanation.
Simply put, does anyone remember our dear supporting character with the silver mask and golden eyes?
Do you recall him?
Hehehe~
Well, I won’t say any more, or the Chapter price might go up!
