Fortunate to Have You This Lifetime-Chapter 785 - Stirring Waves_1
Chapter 785 -785 Stirring Waves_1
Purple Summers remained silent.
In her heart, she told herself that since she had already made a choice, she could not waver. She could try to make amends to the other person, to alleviate the guilt in her heart, but she could not invest her emotions, not even a tiny bit.
Doing so would only cause all three of them pain.
…Thinking this way, she really was both selfish and despicable.
But she couldn’t think of any other way, no noble and fair solution to the problem. It seemed like no matter what she did, it was wrong.
Alexander Summers started the car, ready to leave, but the car beside his moved faster, taking the lead.
...
As the opposite car passed in front of theirs, Purple unexpectedly saw a familiar face—it was Mrs. Fowler.
Purple wasn’t sure; she had only seen Mrs. Fowler once, and the lady sat in her car, separated by a windowpane, and was wearing sunglasses, making Purple’s view unclear.
She wondered if she had mistaken the person?
Elite ladies like her always traveled with a driver and a nanny. If it was really Mrs. Fowler, would she need to drive herself?
While Purple pondered, the car suddenly accelerated.
This was highly unusual in the parking area outside the restaurant, where many vehicles were coming and going and should have been moving slowly. However, that car sped away!
Purple was stunned; her mind raced, and she suddenly realized something. But before she could shout, the car was already headed straight for Nathaniel Summers and his group!

Without warning, with a sudden onset, everyone was shocked!
In a split second, Dylan Summers pushed Nathaniel away!—The car hit Dylan and Yolanda and Laura Summers behind him, their bodies lifted by the immense impact into mid-air and then crashing down heavily to the ground.
Screams erupted from bystanders.
However, the car did not stop; after pausing for two seconds, it swerved violently towards Nathaniel, who had narrowly escaped the first hit!
Nathaniel had regained his senses and quickly ran up the steps. The front of the car smashed into the column where he had been standing just moments before, instantly crumpling out of shape and coming to a halt.
Alexander and Purple immediately got out of their car, one after the other.
The restaurant’s patrons all rushed out, and the cars passing by stopped to look on. Everyone gathered around, forming a semicircle around the scene unknowingly, some calling the police and others summoning an ambulance.
Yolanda and Laura, unsure of where they were injured, couldn’t stand up for the moment and watched Dylan lying unconscious on the ground, faces deathly pale in shock.
Alexander rushed over and knelt to check Dylan’s breath, his expression darkening.
“How is he? Is he alright?” Purple asked anxiously.
Alexander didn’t respond. His face darkened as he stood up, marched over to the offending car, and violently yanked the door open to drag the woman inside out!
His vigor was so harsh that in her struggle, the woman’s sunglasses fell off, revealing her true face—
It was indeed Mrs. Fowler!
Mrs. Fowler, seeing Nathaniel unharmed and standing not far away, immediately flashed a look of hateful fury in her eyes, her face ghostly pale, yet her eyes were a vivid red.
“Why didn’t you die?!” Mrs. Fowler shrieked wildly, “You cursed my son to death! You murderer!”
Nathaniel’s expression was strange; he wasn’t looking at Mrs. Fowler, but rather unsettlingly at Dylan lying on the ground, his entire posture tense.
Mrs. Fowler continued hysterically, “Give me back my son! Give me back my son!”
She then saw Yolanda half-lying on the ground, her face even more twisted, “You should die too! You’re all murderers, all of you should die!”
She attempted to lunge forward but was restrained by Alexander, unable to move, her entire person thrashing as if mad, her nails barely missing scratching Alexander’s face multiple times.
Alexander, beyond annoyed, delivered a chop to the back of her neck, causing Mrs. Fowler to collapse limply.
He threw Mrs. Fowler back into the car, and when he turned around, he and Purple’s eyes met.
Both of their hearts sank simultaneously—
Wanting to leave the Summers family was likely to stir up new troubles.
