Former Interstellar Mercenary In Urban Cultivation World-Chapter 1371: The Fragment Of The Immortal Realm
Chapter 1371: The Fragment Of The Immortal Realm
"Block the passage, preventing the devils from entering and leaving freely." Yeom Hwaryeon knew this was a bit of a tough request, but they had no other way.
Amalia understood immediately. "So, Elder Yeom, you asked Namgu Jaeun to bring this item out in order to persuade him with this reason?"
Yeom Hwaryeon nodded. "Exactly."
Among the Five Vein Tribes, the Wood Vein Tribe had suffered the least damage, and their strong fighters were all still alive.
However, once powerful devils invade, the Wood Vein Tribe, which isn’t skilled in combat, would find it hard to avoid disaster.
The tribe’s treasures were important, but everyone’s lives were even more so.
Amalia took the Wood Pearl without saying anything, but her attitude had already conveyed her answer.
Yeom Hwaryeon’s anxiety was greatly eased.
If Amalia had been an ordinary genius from a humble background, he would never have asked her for this favor.
But she wasn’t just anyone—she was a disciple of Tian Wuya, supported by the powerful Green Lotus Sect.
He had no choice, but the Green Lotus Sect should have a solution.
After sending off Yeom Hwaryeon, Amalia returned to the tent with the five Elemental Pearls and called Wealth out.
"I’ve got the five Elemental Pearls. Do you know what we should do next?"
"Wow, Mother you really managed to get all five Elemental Pearls! That was fast!" Wealth exclaimed in surprise.
These pearls were clearly the most important treasures of each tribe.
It hadn’t even been two days, and he had thought it would take much more effort to gather the remaining ones.
"Put all five Elemental Pearls together. Maybe they will react. I’m not too sure either; there isn’t much information on the Elemental Pearls in the Beast God’s memories," Amalia said.
Amalia immediately took out the five pearls and placed them together.
However, the five pearls didn’t react.
No matter how she moved them, they remained as they were—just five pearls, nothing more.
Helpless, she decided to go back to Yeom Hwaryeon to ask how to properly use the pearls to summon the tribe’s great treasure.
Yeom Hwaryeon, feeling both helpless and amused, had always thought that Amalia knew.
After all, why else would she be so proactive in collecting the pearls?
"Although the five Elemental Pearls look like five separate treasures, many people don’t realize that they are actually parts of a single treasure. Only when these five parts are restored into one can it be activated to summon the great treasure. Therefore, we need to find a craftsman to help us," Yeom Hwaryeon explained. "The Fire Vein Tribe has many skilled craftsmen, each quite powerful. Would you like me to find one for you?"
"No need. I can handle it myself. Thank you, Elder Yeom," Amalia said, turning to leave, leaving Yeom Hwaryeon shocked, unable to tell that she was actually a master craftsman herself.
Back in the tent, Amalia had Wealth watch the entrance and took the Elemental Pearls inside.
The day passed quickly.
Suddenly, a heavy gray cloud gathered in the sky above the Fire Vein Tribe, and from within, occasional sounds of thunder echoed with great power.
Some of the stronger people quickly realized that this gray cloud wasn’t going to bring rain.
Instead, something was either emerging or someone was undergoing a tribulation.
It was unlikely to be the latter.
If someone were undergoing a tribulation, they would have known by now.
Yeom Hwaryeon walked out of his tent, his face filled with shock. "She actually succeeded so quickly?"
"Elder, what succeeded?" Yeom Hwaun asked.
"The Elemental Pearls. She’s combined all five of them. I thought it would take at least several days, but it happened so fast. The Elemental Pearls are truly treasures of the immortals. Once combined, they attract a tribulation. I wonder what treasure it will summon?" Yeom Hwaryeon frowned, though he believed it probably wasn’t something harmful to them, or Namgu Jaeun wouldn’t have agreed to give it to him.
Only the leader of the Five Vein Tribes knew the secret of the Elemental Pearls.
When the previous leader died, they hadn’t had the chance to pass on this secret to their successors.
So now, only the alive Ryusoo Jin and Namgu Jaeun who knew about it.
Amalia, after refining the Elemental Pearls, discovered that one of the pearls tried to escape.
She immediately controlled it.
At that moment, the thunder tribulation brewing in the sky descended.
She used the tribulation as a tempering tool, enduring several bolts of lightning.
Her skin was scorched, and her clothes were in tatters, hanging off her.
Amalia quickly changed into a fresh set of clothes and looked up at the sky.
After ninety-nine bolts, the tribulation began to dissipate.
She held the Elemental Pearl in her hand, still feeling a faint struggle.
Then, she fully refined it.
The refined Elemental Pearl soon quieted down.
As she received feedback from the pearl, she finally understood the secret of the Five Vein Tribe, her face revealing a hint of shock.
"Mother, what’s wrong?" Wealth jumped onto her lap and looked up at her with his little beast face.
"Now I finally understand why the Beast God didn’t have any memory of the Five Elemental Pearls. It turns out that this Five Elemental Pearl is a fragment of the Immortal Realm. After the Five Elemental Immortals broke apart in the Immortal Realm, they obtained several pieces of the Immortal Realm and refined them into five Five Elemental Pearls. Each pearl contains a trace of one of the Five Elements’ power. Only when they are combined can one understand the true nature of the Five Elemental Pearls. If they are not combined, it would just seem like one pearl with a single element’s power."
Wealth’s eyes sparkled. "Doesn’t that mean it’s been easy to obtain? But how come the people of the Fire Vein Tribe say that the Oryeong Mountains descended from the sky?"
"That’s not wrong either. The Oryeong Mountains might be a mountain range that the Five Elemental Immortal extracted from a piece of the Immortal Realm and slowly transformed into what it is now."
