Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 221: What is Lilin’s Quest?

Aaron’s POV:

It has been a week since Lilin had dumped me. The past seven days are the worst days of my existence.

My younger brother Anikan has told me to help Lilin in her quest—so that she would take me back. But I couldn’t come up with any such strategy. I don’t even know what her quest is. How can I help her?

I barged into my younger brother’s room without knocking. As soon as I got into his room, I regretted my decision.

He was seated on the settee, and there were two Succubus girls on either side of him. They both were wearing a fabric that was semi-transparent—which revealed their beautiful structure to me.

I admired the girls for a while before I fixed my gaze on Anakin. "If you are done screwing around with them, can I ask you a question?"

"Why are you here, brother?" he asked me in a little annoyed tone.

"I want to know about Lilin’s quest. Do you have any idea about it?"

He shook his head and said, "No! How can I know about that? You know that I don’t take an interest in the happenings outside the Ashland—"

Even though I don’t have an interest in such things—but for the sake of Lilin, I am obligated to know about these things. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

"My sister might help you with that," said the green-haired girl who had her arm on my brother’s neck.

I was surprised! Does a Succubus girl say that she can help me?! I thought all they knew was to booze up and have intercourse with the men they liked.

When she got up from her seat and walked closer to me, I realized that she was not a creature of lust—but a creature of venom. Her eyes were glittering green like the rare emerald crystals. She had legs, but this is not her original form.

"You are a Serpent girl, aren’t you?" I asked her.

She smiled at me. "Of course, I am! And tell me, do you want my sister’s help or not?"

"Yes—" I replied instantly as I was so desperate. Serpents are completely opposite to the Succubus. They are always aware of everything that happens in all three realms. Perhaps I will get the help that I need from them.

The Serpent girl took Anakin and me to a cottage that was entirely made up of mud.

"My sister doesn’t like it when someone talks back to her. So I would request you two to be polite with her," the green-haired girl said before she opened the door of the cottage.

Inside there was a girl who looked exactly similar to the green-haired girl. I looked at both the girls and wrecked my mind to figure out why they were similar. Then I realized that they were twins!

"Meet my sister Lyra," the green-haired girl said.

I shuddered a little when I heard the name Lyra. She is a famous assassin who has slain a lot of men with her venom and charms. I don’t have a good feeling about this! I looked behind the exit of the cottage. Perhaps I should just leave now.

"No one is allowed to enter or exit my place without my approval," Lyra hissed in a cold voice.

I turned to her immediately in horror. How did she know what I was thinking in my mind? Then the door behind me automatically slammed shut.

Lyra beamed viciously and said, "I can read everything that you think in your mind."

Oh my! It is dangerous even to think about something now. I glanced at Anakin, who was trembling beside me. Probably he was regretting the decision to come here with me.

Lyra instructed us both to sit down on the cushioned couch in her living room—we both immediately did what she said.

"Leah, bring these two men some tea," she said to her sister.

Lyra then sat down on the rocking wooden chair that was in front of us. Even though she looked gorgeous, I was scared of her.

I was scared of her sharp, fang-like teeth, which have bit many men in the past. The venom of a serpent can kill the victim within a few seconds.

"So why are the Incubus Princes here?" she asked me.

I didn’t know what to reply. Even the Demon Queen Lilith hasn’t scared me this much before.

Lyra chuckled when she read my thoughts. "I would like to take that as a compliment—"

I, too, chuckled nervously along with her. I can’t believe that my brother would have intercourse with dangerous Serpent girls. I should tell my father about his actions.

"We serpents might be dangerous, but only we can provide the best sex a man can ever have—"

She was not exactly right! I have had sex with a lot of serpents girls—even though it was good, none of them can match the intensity of Lilin. The demon princess is the best a man can ever have.

And thinking about Lilin brought even more pain to my heart. I want her back!

Lyra lifted her eyebrows. "You still didn’t answer my question—"

"I am sorry, my lady! I just came here to know about the quest of the Demon Princess Lilin—"

Her expression got severe. "And why would I say that to you?"

"Because I love her so much, and I want her back! If I help her with her quest, she might take me back—"

She smirked at my answer. "So you are a lovesick boy who is after a girl who doesn’t love you! I don’t see much difference between you and Silver Shadow—"

I shuddered again when she said the name Silver Shadow. Did she just compare me with him?! And he is too chasing a girl like me?!

"Yes, he is," Lyra replied after she read my thought. "Silver Shadow is chasing the Dawn vigorously. But she is not acknowledging is love; she is siding with her traitor father—"

This is surprising! Does Silver Shadow have to chase the Dawn?! I thought Dawn loved him...
