Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 206: Gift of the Immortality

Lilin’s POV:

The timid girl continued to scream as Ambrogio brushed away her long brunette hair that was covering her neck.

"Shush, my darling! It will be over soon before you even know it. I am just going to make you sleep—and when you wake up, you will become even more beautiful than you are now," he said to her.

Now I know why there are a lot of female Vampires in this land. Ambrogio hunts pretty girls from the mortal realm and turns them into Vampires.

Good for mortal girls! Ambrogio is doing a noble deed by giving these mortal girls the gift of immortality.

But this timid girl has no idea that she is receiving a gift. Instead, she was screaming and pleading with the Vampire King to let her go.

Ambrogio leaned closer to her neck and sank his razor-sharp fangs on her neck. I almost got deaf as the girl shouted out loud.

But the girl got silent after a while. Her eyes got closed, and her body got limp. That girl must have died now! Once the venom spreads throughout her body, she will wake up again as a gorgeous creature.

The Vampire King got down from the mattress and wiped the blood from his mouth with his sleeves. So this is what the Vampires call a feast!

"So where were we, Lilin?" he asked me and sat down on the red cushioned settee.

"You were telling me to join hands with my ex-lover, which I think is not a good idea," I said to him.

"Lilin," he sighed. "By joining hands, I didn’t exactly mean that you should reunite with him. All you have to do is manipulate him according to your will."

"Even that is impossible to do," I argued. "Silver Shadow is not dumb enough to trust me again."

Ambrogio shook his head and said, "If you have something that they lack or want desperately, then your opponents will have to listen to you."

"But I don’t have anything that he lacks or wants," I crossed him.

"Really? Then I would advise you to close your eyes and recall what Silver Shadow desires the most."

I didn’t have to think about that as it was not a very difficult question. Silver Shadow desires Celestia more than anything else—even more than the throne of the Celestial realm.

"Celestia is his biggest desire. But how is this going to help me?"

"It will help you! My spies who are in the light realm now told me that Silver Shadow is trying hard to win her back. He is now pretending to be Perspicacious Fae Lord Samuel’s son—and he enters the Highland castle in that disguise."

"Really?"I gasped. "So Silver Shadow is in the Highlands now?"

He nodded and said," Yes! So all you need to do is, offer him a way in which he can get his desire. Through this, you will win his trust again! And use him to create chaos in the lands. When all the light creatures are in a battle among themselves, we Shadow creatures should get into the land and turn the Faes and Mages to the darkness. By this, the light force will be diminished again—"

It took me a while to process everything that he said to me. After a while, I asked him, "Your idea is fine—but will Silver Shadow even listen to me? Because he will find out that I have an ulterior motive of diminishing the light forces. So he probably won’t listen to me!"

"Lilin, my sweet girl," he beamed at me. "Just remember that Silver Shadow will do anything for Celestia—he would even destroy all the three realms for her. And now tell me why would he refuse to listen to you if you provide him a way of obtaining his desire Celestia?"

Ambrogio had a precise judgment about Silver Shadow. He cares more about Celestia than everyone else in all three realms. I can use this against him!

"Thank you so much! From now on, I know what to do—"

This is exactly why I came here after my little conversation with Hage. My mentor Hage might be an expert in advising me, but he can’t create a flawless plan like this.

Ambrogio is a legend in plotting and scheming. I respect him for that. I bowed to him and walked out of the room.

After that, I didn’t need advice or guidelines from anyone else as I knew exactly what I wanted to do.

I disintegrated into the black smoke and reached the Shadow castle. I walked into my room and opened my closet door.

The dark blue moonstone was lying below the pile of clothes. I squeezed the stone tight in my palm and covered my head with the hoodie of the cloak.

The moonstone has the potential to give entry to the Shadow creatures into the light realm. I was always fascinated by the significance of the moonstone. It appears small in size, but it does so many amazing things.

I disintegrated again into the black smoke, and this time I reappeared again before the Fort of the Northern mountains.

The Northern mountains are the best in terms of living—since this region is always cool. Ambrogio told me that the people of this region are easy to defeat as people here are not physically strong.

Only Perspicacious and Healer Faes live here—who are not very powerful as they are just intellectuals but not warriors.

I stood outside of the castle and viewed its architecture for a minute. Then a purple armored young Fae boy came to me and said, "Hello, pretty lady! It is too nice to see you here."

Ambrogio forgot to mention that the Faes of this region can be a flirt too! My face is completely concealed by the cloak now—still, he addresses me as the pretty lady. Perhaps he is just polite to me. I should probably use his politeness against him.

"Young man, can you please tell me where the son of Lord Samuel is?"

"I don’t know," he shook his head. "Probably he is in the fort. And what house do you belong to? I have never seen you before here."

"I am a warrior Fae," I lied. "And thank you for the information, young man—"
