Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 104: What is the matter with Lilin?!
Celestia’s POV:
I got dressed up in my warrior suit and waited for Theo to come up to my room. I even wore my golden yellow cape around my neck this time. And I tied up my golden locks into a bun. I looked like a perfect warrior now!
I realized that I am still wearing a suit of the same design that I used to wear when I was back in the mountains. But I was not able to adapt to any other designs.
I liked the symbol of the rising sun that was on my chest plate. This is me! And I can’t be able to change my own identity. Theo didn’t seem to mind about my suit anyway. So I didn’t bother to change my suit to a different style.
Amelia arrived at my room half an hour ago and took away Tangerine with her. It was so hard to bid goodbye to her. But Tangerine didn’t seem to care that I was leaving when she laid her eyes on Amelia.
Even though I got a little hurt, it is good to know that Tangerine will be happy with Amelia. And before Amelia left the room, she advised me again to ask Theo about the reason why our energies match.
But I think that it has something to do with the oath. I am bound to him forever, and it must be the reason for our connection.
Theo appeared in my room after a while. He, too, was suited up in his usual warrior robes like me. "Shall we leave now, my love?" he asked me.
I immediately shook my head. "I need to ask you something before we leave. Why are we not able to hurt each other?"
Theo seemed to be confused by my question. "Celestia," he breathed out. "I have no idea about that either. I am trying to find out more about that."
"Doesn’t this.... Doesn’t this scare you, Theo?"
He beamed at me, and even I felt dumb after I asked that question to him.
"Why would I be scared, my sweetness?" He chuckled. "You and I aren’t able to hurt each other. It means that we both have some kind of a mysterious bond. And it is a good thing!"
He was right! Why should I have to be intimidated by this? Sometimes I am just worried for nothing!
Theo bent down and gave me a soft peck on my cheek. He then wrapped his arm around my waist and said, "Shall we leave now, my love?"
I nodded to him. After that, we both disintegrated into thin air.

Theo and I appeared directly in the chamber of the Mage Lord Arcadia. For a while, he clearly didn’t have any idea that we were standing right before him. Arcadia was pacing around the room restlessly. He seemed to be tense!
"Lord Arcadia," Theo called out and brought him back to his senses.
He almost jumped to his feet when he saw us. "I am sorry, your highness. I didn’t notice you there," he said anxiously.
"You can relax now, Arcadia. Now tell me everything about the attack that happened yesterday," Theo questioned him.
"Lilin has become so vicious now! It took all of us Mages to tackle that single lady. So many of us are injured, and they won’t be in battle tonight in case she appears here again."
"But how was she able to cross the barrier?" I asked Arcadia.
"She didn’t cross the barrier! But she was able to create a portal directly to the battlefield."
"Lilin has the moonstone. So it is not impossible for her," Theo reminded us.
I sighed out after that. Theo was the one who gave her the moonstone, but he was obligated to give it to her as payback for learning the Demonic language from her.
Why did Theo have to learn from Lilin? He could have learned dark arts from some other demonic entity!
’Celestia, please don’t make me feel more guilty about this,’ Theo whispered in my mind so that Arcadia won’t be able to hear.
"Okay," I groaned and looked at Arcadia. "Everyone says that her powers are doubled. Do you have any idea what she is able to do now that she hasn’t done before?"
"I don’t know," Arcadia mumbled. "I was the first one to get knocked out on the battlefield."
"What?" Theo and I both cried out at the same time. Arcadia’s face turned red with embarrassment.
"Please don’t judge me! I was the first one to strike Lilin with my ax. Then she just raised her spear and pointed it at me. After that, I completely got knocked out and fell on the ground hopelessly. I am not even aware how she defeated me!"
This is not good! Lord Arcadia is not an easy person to get knocked out, even before the battle began. I remembered what my father said to everyone in the courtroom yesterday.
Even he needed the help of the other Faes to defeat Lilin. I glanced at Theo immediately! What is the matter with Lilin? How has she become so powerful?

Fortunately, today is a full moon day! The Selene Goddess was shining brightly above us in the sky. We all stood on the battlefield and waited for the arrival of the Demon Princess Lilin.
Half of the Mage Warriors got injured in yesterday’s battle, and they were not on the battlefield. But Lord Arcadia was standing in the front lines with us. He seemed to be keener on taking down the Demon Princess today.
It is way past midnight now. We all waited and waited for the Shadow creatures to arrive. But they didn’t show up! Has Lilin changed her mind?
Or maybe she got to know that Theo was here. That is why she didn’t attack. It seems like Lilin is still in love with Theo!
Suddenly, white smoke appeared in front of us. I got alerted immediately. But it was not Lilin or any other shadow creatures. A lot of Siren girls appeared in front of us.
What are they doing here? Maybe they are here to help Theo. I froze for a brief period when I saw Queen Cynthia walking towards us at a distance. This is strange!
The Siren Queen never arrives at the battlefield unless it is necessary.
