Shen Qi shouted suddenly, picking up the stool beside him and smashing it toward Er Gui’s head.

Unprepared, Er Gui’s head was struck by the heavy object, feeling a warm stream flowing down his head. He threw the man in his hands to the ground like a rag, his bloodshot eyes glaring at Shen Qi, "What? Want to be a fugitive couple with this kid?"

Blood flowed from Er Gui’s forehead to the corner of his eye, then down his brow. The man didn’t seem to feel pain, and those eyes carried a captivating danger. Shen Qi instinctively took a step back, but her back was already against the bed.

Er Gui’s menacing eyes locked onto Shen Qi. He wiped the blood off his face with his hand and licked it, the smile on his lips growing bigger, "Daring to hit your Lord Gui, you really have some guts."

As he spoke, he moved forward but found his pant leg tightly grasped by the unconscious man. Er Gui mercilessly kicked him away.

Seeing the man lifeless and covered in blood, Shen Qi cried out again. Just as she was about to move forward, Er Gui blocked her.

Lu Yi shielded An Ran behind him, stepped forward, and grabbed a stool on the floor, smashing it fiercely at the man about to assault Shen Qi.

Hearing the commotion at the door, Er Gui turned around only to see the stool crashing down; he caught it with a reverse hand and kicked Lu Yi.

Seeing Lu Yi and the man fighting, An Ran hurried toward Shen Qi.

But before she could reach Shen Qi, Shen Qi seemed to have gone mad, dashed out of the room, and returned with a fruit knife in hand, stabbing it at the man who was fighting Lu Yi.

Shen Qi stared blankly at the fruit knife in Er Gui’s body. After he fell, she glanced at her hand stained with his blood, her face turned pale with fright.

However, she was only stunned for a moment before turning back to pounce on the motionless Zhu Pengfei.
