"Where did everybody go?" An Ran asked.

"Guo Xinyi and Sun Beibei didn’t come back last night. I heard they’re both locals. Also, Guo Xinyi’s dad seems to be quite influential. Wang Xiaoyi went to the cafeteria. I’m not sure about Shen Qi; she went out early in the morning, probably to the cafeteria as well."

Shen Qi arrived just yesterday afternoon. She seemed like a very introverted girl.

"An Ran, hurry up and pack. There’s only half an hour left until assembly. There’s no time to go to the cafeteria. I have two pieces of bread here." Xiao Xiao said as she handed An Ran a piece of bread.

It was already announced yesterday that the freshmen’s military training for the medical department would take place at the Guard Team base. Today, trucks would come to take the students there.
