Flower Stealing Master-Chapter 720: The Antidote
It was impossible to tell how much time had passed when Huang Rong finally turned around—only to find Song Qingshu drenched in sweat. She couldn’t tell whether he was exhausted from struggling to suppress the poison in Guo Jing’s body or from his rampant actions on her b0dy; the very thought of the latter made her shudder uncontrollably.
At that moment, she felt utterly limp, as if she were nothing more than a pile of soft, rotting mud.
The unusual surroundings combined with the torment of her conscience had rendered her far more sensitive than usual. Yet with her husband nearby, she dared not express even the slightest hint of her b0dily sensations. Instead, she clutched her mouth and stifled her reactions.
Even so, after their encounter, she was drenched in sweat—her entire b0dy wet as though it had been soaked in water.
Huang Rong wondered how much longer she could endure this state. The mere thought that her uncontrolled sounds might alert her husband to something amiss sent chills down her spine. The only consolation was that Song Qingshu seemed determined to keep the matter secret; his thrusts were gentle, and he avoided producing the embarrassing sounds that would arise from their b0dies colliding. Yet that slow, inch-by-inch progression only made every sensation feel even more pronounced…
Her whole b0dy tensed, and her legs began trembling uncontrollably. She had cl!maxed so many times that she had lost count, but the man behind her seemed as unyielding as iron, showing no sign of stopping—instead, he grew ever more ar0used!
“Thank heavens…” With her legs trembling again uncontrollably, Huang Rong felt a continuous surge of warmth flooding into her w0mb, blanking her mind completely. In that moment, she no longer even had the strength to open her eyes.
“Great Hero Guo, I’ve managed to temporarily suppress the deadly poison within you. There’s no danger to your life for at least three days,” Song Qingshu gasped as he withdrew his shaft from her gloryh0le.
Guo Jing assumed that Song Qingshu was simply exhausted from the strenuous effort of suppressing the poison and said without further thought, “Thank you, Young Master Song.”
“But… what happens after three days?” Even though her whole b0dy felt weak and she could barely open her eyes, Huang Rong was determined to learn the answer at once. After all, she had paid such a heavy price only to secure her husband’s safety for three days.
Song Qingshu frowned and replied, “Madame, the poison in Great Hero Guo is truly overwhelming. I’ve barely managed to hold it at bay for now—please forgive me.”
Hearing his earnest tone, Huang Rong felt a surge of absurdity. Only moments ago, she hadn’t known who had been so wildly indulging in her body, and now he acted as if nothing had happened. Truly, no man could be trusted…
“Rong’er, I’m not exaggerating. This poison is indeed too fierce and domineering. Had I not taken Liangzi Weng’s snake-blood medicine earlier—which granted me a certain resistance to toxins—and thanks to my profound inner strength, I fear I would have perished on the spot,” Guo Jing said, his voice still trembling with lingering fear. Now that his Nine Yin True Qi had reached its pinnacle, he could usually force most poisons out with ease. Who would have thought that this time, not only did it fail to expel the poison, but it also left him completely drained of inner energy.
“Brother Jing… can you see now?” Huang Rong suddenly realized a critical problem. Previously, Guo Jing had lost his sight when the poisonous fumes surged upward. Now that the toxin was temporarily suppressed, wouldn’t he be able to see every unseemly detail of my condition?
Her heart had never been so conflicted—on one hand, she longed for her husband’s recovery; on the other, she dreaded that once he did, he would learn the whole truth.
Guo Jing, however, did not pick up on his wife’s inner turmoil. Shaking his head with a bitter smile, he said, “It still isn’t working. Perhaps I’ll be like Master Ke Zhen’e for the rest of my life. Rong’er, you won’t despise me, will you?”
Knowing that the “Master” in his words referred to Ke Zhen’e, Huang Rong felt a pang of sorrow. “Brother Jing, how could I ever despise you? If anything, I’d expect you never to despise me.”
The thought of her husband’s unpredictable temper, combined with the weight of having wronged him, brought Huang Rong to soft, stifled sobs.
Clearing his throat twice, Song Qingshu said, “Madame, there’s no need to worry too much. If my calculations are correct, once the poison is neutralized, Great Hero Guo’s sight will naturally return and his inner strength will be restored. Besides, we still have three days to find an antidote. I will not fail you.” R𝓪ΝỖꞖЁS

“Really?” Huang Rong looked up in delighted surprise, suddenly finding that the man before her wasn’t so detestable after all.
“Of course,” Song Qingshu replied with a wink. “Since I’ve already received my fee in advance, why wouldn’t I take this matter seriously?” His wink deepened the blush on her cheeks.
Before Huang Rong could speak, however, Song Qingshu’s hand slipped into the lapel of her garment. Her heart skipped a beat—was he about to proceed further?
But he quickly withdrew his hand, raised the handkerchief he held, and—under a look that could kill—used it to wipe himself clean before casually tossing it in front of her. In a low, confidential tone transmitted in secret, he added, “This handkerchief carries both your scent and mine. Keep it as a memento.”
Fuming inwardly and nearly cursing him, Huang Rong was also worried that her husband might catch a whiff of that scent. Hastily, she stuffed the handkerchief back into her b0som and, to cover her embarrassment, quickly asked, “But how exactly did Brother Jing get poisoned?”
Seating himself on the couch and while helping her smooth out her disheveled cl0thes, Song Qingshu replied in a low voice, “With such a formidable poison, among those people like Wanyan Liang’s, I fear only Ouyang Feng could have employed it.”
Feeling his gentle t0uch, Huang Rong’s heart fluttered, and her eyes grew somewhat hazy. Moments ago, he had seemed like a demon; now he was so considerate—reverting to that dashing young martial hero she once knew. She couldn’t tell which side of him was truly his.
“I remember now. After I was captured due to my mishap, Ouyang Feng did administer some medicine to me. At the time, I noticed nothing amiss with my body, so I paid it no mind. Now that I think about it, my escape prevented me from taking the antidote on time, which caused the poison to take hold.” Guo Jing, still blind and drained of his inner strength, was unable to discern any sounds and remained oblivious to everything around him, lost in memories of his time in captivity.
“In that case, we must hurry and find Ouyang Feng to get the antidote.” Huang Rong instinctively stood up—only to have her legs give way and collapse once more.
“Madame, be careful,” Song Qingshu swiftly caught her.
Flushing red, Huang Rong hurriedly pushed him away, inwardly fuming, ‘If it weren’t for you—always harassing me, you scoundrel—I wouldn’t even be able to stand steadily!’
Guo Jing sighed, “Rong’er, Ouyang Feng harbors deep hatred for us. I’m afraid he won’t give us the antidote so easily.”
“If he won’t give it to us, can’t we just steal it?” Huang Rong’s lips curled into a determined smile as she suddenly seemed reinvigorated. “With our unmatched Young Master Song on the case, wouldn’t it be a piece of cake?”
“Madame, you truly have faith in me,” Song Qingshu said with a bitter smile. “Since that’s the case, I shall do my utmost. But, Madame, you’ve always been clever—could you lend me a hand?”
“That works too,” Guo Jing agreed. “It’s best if both Rong’er and Young Master Song have each other’s support.”
Seeing her husband speak, Huang Rong stamped her foot in irritation. Yet she had so much she wished to discuss with Song Qingshu that, after a brief hesitation, she agreed, “Very well. We shouldn’t delay any longer—let’s leave now.”
No sooner had Huang Rong taken a step than a gurgling sound emanated from between her legs.
Guo Jing let out a startled, “Huh?” and turned his head to ask, “What is that sound?”
