Chapter 85 - 85. Protein Bar

I pointed at my pants, and Henry's eyes followed; naturally, there was no wet spot visible, even with supersight. Instead, all of it was in my orange boxer shorts, making me feel sticky and gross.

Every time he meets a girl, he will ask himself if it were her with whom I have seen him.

Every time he sleeps with her, he will ask himself if I am watching him from the past. AHAHAHAHA, go to hell.

The glove was gone, and I stood up and took a few steps towards the surrounding forest.

"Kenny." The voice behind me spoke. He was still crouched down and had only turned his head.

"Not now." I walked behind a thick tree where I conjured up a tissue. When I opened my zipper and wiped myself without taking off my pants, I swore that if he was the sole one to fuck around while I still rotted in prison, then I would really kill him.

Nonono, I will become a chief; every girl loves chiefs. I'm gonna be fine.

When I returned from behind the tree, I found Henry standing there, waiting for me.

I sat down at the fire again and saw that the meat was once again lying in the grass.

"And you are eating these?" I conjured up a cigarette behind my back, so the girl wouldn't see it.

"The protein bars were soon finished." Henry still stared at me; apparently he was still hung up on our talk before.

"I didn't meet anybody else, so I ate these guys; nothing bad had happened to me."

The girl wept, and I pointed at the deer.

"Don't you get that he talks about the monster? He didn't eat humans." I looked away from her and stared into the flames, itching to finally go look for my grandma.

"What is there to cry about..." I mumbled.

"Kenny. I have no intention to get myself a girl. Never. Aren't you my master now?" He swore strangely.

"You can. Just don't touch me so that I have to experience your romantic adventures for myself. And don't go on them while everybody thinks I am a convicted murderer." I took a drag and fixated him.

"Clear my name, then your debt is cleared, and you can do what you want."

"Won't you need to touch me to look into the future? You wanted to go look for your grandma, right?" Henry asked with a dark face, apparently not happy with me drawing the lines.

Tch. If he wanted to be friends, he could have just not sliced my legs when a monster pulled us away. Then maybe there would still be a chance.

"Isn't she here?" I motioned at the girl with my cigarette, and she broke into another crying fit.

"Apparently she is not up for that." Henry smiled annoyingly.

I sighed and smoked, calming down from the embarrassment of what had just happened. Just because we are all men, besides the crying girl, there was no way I found it amusing to cum in my pants before an audience. Especially if it was from a memory that showed himself in a sexual activity. It was creepy as fuck.

But this little journey into what seemed like a high school problem was soon over.

"We should go. The fire could lure the monsters here." A bit late for that, but it had only been twenty minutes since I had arrived.

"They stay away from corpses or blood of their kind." Henry explained and pointed at himself, as if to explain why he looked as if bathed in blood.

Then I remembered something. Not only the flowers, even the deer themselves would wither away in my visions; why is there still a corpse that could even be eaten?

"In my visions they did not die to leave a corpse, but withered away instead." I only saw it with Henry's counterpart, not in other visions, but it seemed to be a thing in this world.

He looked back at what he heard,

"Mhm. Strange."

"Do you still want to eat this?" I asked Henry regarding the sparerib he held again to the fire. I placed my cigarette in my mouth while taking my backpack down to hand him a protein bar.

"Do you want a protein bar?" I asked the girl.

She froze, before she nodded timidly.

"Catch?" I asked having it in my hand.

She nodded again with a small smile, probably because I made no attempt to go near her. Being frustrated at the thought again, I made sure to throw it directly into her hands.

She greedily opened the package and ate like a little hamster.

"You should also put blood over you." Henry suddenly said with an irritated tone.

I snorted.

"No, thank you." I reached my hand out, and he did the same, placing his hand on mine again like a good dog would. He stared at me intently.

I waited and looked if it happened again—the unvoluntary visions. But it didn't, luckily. I flipped the coin, and it never turned black again. Dammit.

"It doesn't work."

"Because of before?"

"Mention that again, and I'll kill you." I let go of his hand and addressed the girl.

"Hey. Regarding your leg, one of us has to carry you, right? Is that okay with you?"

"Y-yes." She hung her head low.

"You carry her." I spoke to Henry. He was taller, my dog, and I was still pissed at him, so he had enough reasons.

"Yes." Henry said, seeming in a much better mood.

"Let's go." I stood up and took a few steps to the side. Henry followed up and threw the meat in the fire. He had stored the protein inside his jacket.

"Do you need water?" I asked him, and he shook his head, walking to the girl and bending down in front of her.

"C-can I have water?" She asked with clear desperation, while trying to stand up, which wouldn't work on her own.

I nodded and came closer, making her flinch. I stood still until she smiled slightly and reached for me. Only then did I help her up and put her on Henry's back before giving her a water bottle out of my backpack. She, again, greedily downed the drink while Henry waited in attendance.

"Let's go." Time to search for a dragon.
