Flip the Coin [BL]-Chapter 78 - . Fences
Chapter 78 - 78. Fences
The guard, as if to spite Henry, pulled my hair with even more force.
Henry's movements became grander, while I still clenched my teeth together.
"He is having these every so often." A man said loudly. It was the only guy who had hair under the group of baldies that came with us.
"Only uncuffing helps, or waiting."
The guard gripping my hair chuckled.
"Yeah, uncuffing. Sure." He punched in my face with full force, I think he broke my nose.
"HEY!" Henry roared.
Other guards were boarding the bus, asking where the problem lay.
"Just a little inconvenience." The guard spoke.
His punch had really stopped my seizure at last. Didn't hinder me from being furious, though.
"Get them out!" The other guards started to uncuff the prisoners, while 'my' guard pressed some tissue against my nose, only harming me more. I made sure to burn his face into my mind. He would definitely get that back.
"Do it yourself," The guard said, letting go of me and the tissue, thankfully. I didn't even need to hold it, as it was full of my blood, sticking to my nose. Oh this fucker, I will think of something good for him, how about cutting off his nose?
First a dick, then a nose. I'll make a nice serial killer, only that my trophies disappeared.
The guard got Henry's handcuffs separated from the iron 'T'.
The next thing I heard was a really loud noise and someone cursing.
I leaned to the side with the bloody tissue covering the middle of my face, like some deceased person.
What I saw was the guard that had just been headbutted by Henry, with blood all over his face.
I broke into laughter, nearly choking on my own blood.
Henry grinned at me with his red forehead before he was struck with the handle of the guard's gun.
"Hugh! Stop that and get them out!" The other guards had brought the other prisoners out in the meantime, and this one saw that there was a scuffle now with the last people inside—with us.
He came to me and ignored the tissue on me, uncuffing me from the T and pushing me out. Meanwhile, Henry was at the mercy of the one having aggression and a similar, if not graver, injury than me, apparently called Hugh.
When I was shoved down the stairs of the bus, more guards welcomed me, holding their weapons, ready for any case.
I let the tissue stick to my face, and met the eyes of a girl behind the barricade.
This was a average but cute girl, one of those that would have surely loved it if I looked into her past. One that would smile at me if I told her some little nonsense about her everyday life.
My eyes were fixed on her, even when the tissue was pulled from my face by a guard. It was as if I had developed masochistic tendencies, wanting my heart to be torn apart again. Wanting to dwell in the pain and pity myself until entirety.
"Why are you three looking like this?" A new guard with a mustache asked me, looking from me—who stood in front of the bus door and staring at the girl—to Henry—with a wound on his head from headbutting the other guard and from being beaten—to finally Hugh, who had a bloody nose as well.
Mustache didn't wait for answers and sighed instead,
"It doesn't matter, bring them in."
"Are you okay?" Henry shuffled to my side and followed my eyes, to the girl.
First she looked at me shocked, then she turned to her friend, who glared at me before, now, finally screaming,
"THE RED-EYED MURDERER! THAT'S HIM!"
I got it—my evidence that I was no more than that in everyone's eyes. Confirmation that this was not some fucked-up dream once more. Others pushed to the barricade to get a better look at me. I laughed hollowly when I noticed that a drink was thrown at me.
Henry stepped before me under the curses of his guard, shielding me and getting hit by the drink. His hair was all wet, as he looked down at me.
"Are you okay?" He asked again as he was pulled back by the furious guard.
No. Damn. I am really heartbroken, this was my first time getting confronted with the outside world, and it went exactly like I expected it to be.
I couldn't bring myself to even curse Henry just now. Not because headbutting a guard and shielding me from a drink was excusing everything he had done to me, but I just felt overwhelmed with powerlessness.
"THE RED-EYED MURDERER!"
"WHY IS HE OUTSIDE?"

"LOCK HIM UP!"
I saw a few camera flashes and chuckled.
"I'm good."
The guard came and dragged me to the other prisoners amidst the screams of the audience. Henry was dragged by the bloody guard behind me, while the baldies and the one with hair from before, walked in front.
It was good like this, I wanted to finally get in that hole—another way of burrowing my head in sand, literally.
I thought I would look into the abyss, but what greeted us was a at least four-meter-high construction, a wooden wall, at which the barricade for the people left and right from the street ended. It was heavily guarded by soldiers with weapons. Not just puny guns, but real machine guns. Long ones, with a ton of bullets.
Would love to get my hands on them.
The earth hole, it seemed, was not only guarded, it was also fenced by this wooden wall, that they had put up. I could not see inside, no idea where exactly we were brought to.
We were dragged to a door in the construction, that opened, the soldiers talking shortly with the guards, looking at us prisoners with silent belittlement.
The door was opened, and there it was, around forty meters in front of us....
I glimpsed between the other prisoners who walked in front of me, only getting a good look when they made a turn to a tent on the right.
Another hip-high iron fence around it, yet, what I saw was not just a big hole, but the entire south district of the city, that was just...gone.
