Flash Marriage: She becomes Mrs. CEO after the Failed Dowry Talk-Chapter 1001: This Hunger Is Not That Hunger
Nora Northwood yawned while responding to Jasper Sinclair, then slipped into the covers like an eel, "Is the blanket warm?"
"You try it."
"Not warm."
A soft click emanated from Nora’s nasal cavity.
Jasper kissed the corner of her lips, murmuring gently, "You sleep first, I’ll take a bath."
His voice, already pleasant, overflowed with tenderness.
Nora extended her arm from the silk quilt, smooth and delicate, just a look was enough to stir one’s imagination, "Hold me again, Jasper."
The man leaned his face closer following her words.
"Hurry up and wash, I’ll wait for you to come back to sleep together."
Nora’s soft and tender voice was enough to make a person almost crazy with desire.
Jasper’s lips pressed together, his eyes darkened.
With two sounds of movement, the shoes supporting his feet fell to the floor, and the surface of the silk quilt rippled with waves.
The beige towel wrapped around Nora’s chest had already been pulled away by those big hands, tossed to the foot of the bed.
At this moment, her entire body was bare.
The two bodies were separated only by a thin shirt, that little fabric barely enough to cover Jasper’s body heat.
"Nora, who do you want to sleep with?"
Such a blunt question from Jasper’s mouth carried an indescribable sense of incongruity.
"Go take a bath."
Nora nudged him, her soft strength more like a playful refusal inviting him closely.
"No rush."
Hot air brushed against Nora’s cheeks, making them itch, her neck instinctively retreating.
Retreating quickly, she was grasped by someone, "Nora, what are you hiding from?"
"Jasper, do you know you’re like a hungry wolf right now?"
"Been hungry for so long."
This hunger was not that kind of hunger.
His eyes fixed on her fair face, carrying the clarity of just having bathed, between his brows, traces of coquetry lingered.
Jasper found an opportunity, lowered his head, and kissed her.
At the same time, his long arm reached into the covers, his hand clasping Nora’s lower back.
Chest pressed against softness, the troubles filling Nora’s mind were scattered by this passionate deep kiss.
Until the kiss left her breathless, Jasper reluctantly let go.
"Nora, let’s just have this one baby."
"Why?"
Right after asking, Nora regretted.
How could she not know Jasper was holding back painfully?
The man didn’t respond to her question, instead affectionately pressed against her forehead, only then did he rise.
Soon, the sound of water trickled from the shower.
The room gradually lost its romantic ambiance, and listening to the water sounds, Nora fell deeply asleep.
The night was silent and clear.
By the time Jasper came out, the person nestled in the bed had completely fallen asleep.
One after another, the crystal chandeliers in the living room were turned off, leaving only the bedside, palm-sized night light, casting a warm yellow glow.
Jasper half-reclined on the bed, deeply gazing at that familiar face, quiet breathing, the pink remaining.
Seemingly in a nightmare, Nora’s brows were furrowed tightly.
Jasper watched for a long time, until exhaustion swept over him, then he changed to a more comfortable posture, ready to sleep.
Before sleeping, the pad of his thumb repeatedly brushed between Nora’s brows.
The ridge of his fingertip aligned with her delicate skin, quickly smoothing out that wrinkle.
