Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot-Chapter 555 - 554: He Must be Blind
After hearing what Charles Northwood said, Julia Adams’s anger didn’t surge; instead, it slowly calmed.
She couldn’t afford to lose her temper now, or else Nia Mitchell would only feel more smug.
"Alright, if you all say it’s my fault, then it’s my fault. I can’t win an argument against you anyway," she said.
With that, she jerked away from the boys restraining her and sat down.
She reached for a wine glass on the table and downed it in one gulp.
Would she really let Nia get away with this?
Impossible.
"Charles Northwood, since you’re siding with Nia Mitchell so much, then there’s nothing I can do," she said.
She could only blame herself for loving the wrong person.
But would she really let it go?
No one knew.
Charles Northwood thought for a moment, then guided Nia Mitchell to a spot to the side. "Nia Mitchell, sit over there. Don’t stay here."
"Okay, relax. I’m not a child; I’ll be careful," Nia Mitchell said with a laugh, though she didn’t take his concern too seriously. After all, she rarely went out alone these days.
She was either accompanied by Charles Northwood, a driver, or Fiona Sutton.
Thinking of Fiona Sutton, Nia Mitchell suddenly grew a little worried again.
"I want to go upstairs and check on Fiona."
"What’s there to see?" he replied. "Fiona Sutton is asleep. You’re not planning to disturb her, are you?"
Hearing Charles Northwood’s words, Nia Mitchell nodded. He has a point.
The afternoon passed quite quickly, and soon, it was dark.
Nia Mitchell wanted to leave early, but it was clear her classmates were determined to make her pay for everything and wouldn’t let her go.
"Come on, don’t leave! This is our last get-together. Let’s all stay until the end."
"Yeah, if you leave, our class won’t be complete."
"We’re all staying. Besides, the classmates who got drunk at noon should have sobered up by now. Let’s go upstairs together and get them."
Everyone chimed in enthusiastically, completely ignoring what Nia Mitchell said, so she was forced to stay.
「Meanwhile, in a hotel room, Fiona Sutton slowly woke up, her head throbbing as if it would split.」
"UGH..." she groaned.
Her head ached terribly. Helplessly, she reached up to hit her head, only to hear a SMACK.
Huh...
It didn’t hurt.
How strange. Fiona Sutton hit her head again, hard. SMACK.
Still no pain.
"Have you hit yourself enough?"
Yancy Hastings had already woken up the moment Fiona Sutton stirred.
A man’s voice!
Fiona Sutton’s eyes snapped open. It had to be said, his voice had somehow even cured her headache.
"Yancy Hastings!!"
When she clearly saw who was lying beside her, Fiona Sutton was utterly dumbfounded.
Damn it, why is he here? 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
"You..."
Her mind was a complete muddle; she didn’t even know how to form words.
"Get off my damn bed!"
Fiona Sutton kicked out unceremoniously, but the man remained as steady as a rock, completely unmoved.
Fiona Sutton’s face darkened. Her lips twitched as she looked down to check her clothes.
Good, my clothes are intact. That means nothing inappropriate happened.
"Stop looking," Yancy Hastings sighed, a note of regret in his voice as he lay there. "I do wish something had happened, though."
He’d been too exhausted these past few days. The moment he hit the bed, he’d fallen asleep, with no energy left for *that*.
Looking at Fiona Sutton—her face flushed, still reeking of alcohol, and acting extraordinarily crude—Yancy Hastings found himself strangely drawn to this side of her.
He... he was probably blind.
That was Yancy Hastings’s self-assessment.
