Fierce Daddy: His Million-Dollar Sweetheart-Chapter 613: Brought Back
Chantel was trembling as she got out of bed and approached Howard Yeats. Her chest should have been very painful, but at this moment she couldn’t feel it because she was too scared. She didn’t know what Howard Yeats would do to her next.
Howard Yeats reached out his hand, and Chantel was so frightened she closed her eyes, almost kneeling.
Howard Yeats pulled her into his arms beforehand and said, "Don’t be afraid, I’m not a devil."
Howard Yeats’s voice turned gentle and he continued, "Didn’t you say you’re my woman? That’s right, from now on, you are my woman."
Chantel looked at the scene in disbelief, her eyes still brimming with tears. Could it be that Howard had multiple personalities? He disliked her so much last time, so why now...?
Chantel quickly figured it out. Jade Yeats called Ivy Linden "sister-in-law," so does that mean Ivy Linden and Howard Yeats really are... Could it be that Howard Yeats is using her to provoke Ivy Linden?
Realizing this possibility, Chantel’s only feeling at this moment was relief that her life was safe for now, and Howard Yeats wouldn’t hit her.
Because she had value to offer.
Howard Yeats glanced at Ivy, seeing her still with her head down, unresponsive, seemingly not getting angry, nor minding him holding another woman. This stoked a fire of rage within him.
"Why are you still standing there? Can’t you see my woman is thirsty? Go and make coffee."
Chantel wasn’t thirsty, but if it weren’t for the recent surgery on her chest that hadn’t healed yet, she would have taken the opportunity to cling closely to Howard Yeats. She didn’t mind being used; in fact, she welcomed the possibility of getting used to advance her modeling career.
"Understood."
Ivy turned around to make coffee, feeling absent-minded. She almost scalded her fingers with the hot water, unsure of what was happening to her. Seeing Howard Yeats holding Chantel, she felt a bit uncomfortable inside.
Jade Yeats, with Nicole, dared not linger outside. After Nicole had a dessert, she asked the shop to pack a box to take back. But upon returning, she was shocked and furious by what she saw.
Ivy was refilling coffee for Chantel, who, instead of being punished by Howard Yeats, sat comfortably enjoying the coffee Ivy refilled, as if she were a lady of the house.
Jade Yeats became enraged and rushed forward, smashing Chantel’s coffee cup to the ground: "Brother, what do you mean by this?"
Jade Yeats looked angrily at Howard Yeats: "You let my sister-in-law serve this shameless woman?"
Hearing Jade Yeats call Ivy Linden "sister-in-law" made Chantel angry: "What sister-in-law? I’m sitting right here! Don’t call it wrong."
"Bah! How can you qualify?"
Jade Yeats spat at Chantel.
Chantel frowned: "Yes, I qualify. I am your brother’s chosen one."
"What the hell are you?"
Seeing Howard Yeats drinking coffee without saying a word, as if indulging Chantel’s antics, Jade Yeats became furious. She turned and handed the pastry to Nicole, saying to Nicole, "Be a good girl, let’s go eat the pastry in the room; there are annoying people here."
Nicole nodded and went to the room with Ivy.
Jade Yeats looked at Howard Yeats and said, "Brother, even if you’re upset that sister-in-law left earlier, you shouldn’t use this woman to bully her. You’re not a child, don’t act so immaturely."
Howard Yeats’s fingers tightened, and with a sound, the coffee cup shattered, startling Chantel.
Howard Yeats looked coldly at Jade Yeats: "My affairs are none of your business. Now go home, and from now on, without my order, you’re not allowed to see Ivy Linden again."
"I’m not going. Why should I go back? And why can’t I see my sister-in-law?"
"Jade Yeats, if you’re so eager to meddle, I don’t mind marrying you off within three days. Several wealthy families in Ravenswood have approached me for a match already."
"My marriage is my own decision, don’t meddle."
"Really? Dare to meddle in my private affairs and I’ll marry you off. Don’t test my patience."
"Brother, you’re too much."
"Someone, take Jade Yeats back for me. Without my command, she’s not allowed to step out of the house."
Two bodyguards came forward, apologized to Jade Yeats, and took her away.
Howard Yeats suddenly stood up, and Chantel immediately followed suit.
With just one look from Howard Yeats, she sat back down in fear.
Howard Yeats pushed open Ivy Linden’s room door. Inside, one adult and one child were eating cake. Ivy’s mouth was covered in pink frosting. Seeing this made his gaze cold; this woman still had the mood to eat cake?
"Uncle Howard, this cake is so delicious! Do you want to eat cake together?"
Howard Yeats shook his head to Nicole and said warmly, "Nicole, go ahead and eat!"
His gaze fell on Ivy’s face, turning cold again: "Are you going to follow me back willingly, or should I...?"
The rest went unsaid, but Ivy could guess the next line was "or should I send bodyguards to take you back?"
Ivy licked the cream from her lips and said, "The environment here isn’t as good as your place, I’ll go back with you."
Howard Yeats’s eyes narrowed slightly, watching her licking the cake, cursing inwardly at his urge to go over and capture her lips.
Going back with Howard Yeats.
Nicole was assigned to be looked after by a nanny and slept with the nanny. Ivy didn’t say anything because she knew whatever she said was useless, and Howard Yeats would never let anyone harm Nicole.
Ivy was placed in a room next to Howard Yeats’s, which was terrible because the soundproofing was especially poor. At night, she could hear Chantel’s moans echoing from being brought into Howard Yeats’s bedroom.
The sounds rose higher and higher.
Ivy clenched her blanket, feeling utterly frustrated. Didn’t Chantel just have surgery? How could she manage such vigorous activities?
Wasn’t she afraid of ending up in the beauty clinic again?
And as for Howard Yeats, how could he have the heart to touch someone who had just had surgery?
Beast!
Ivy covered her ears, refusing to listen to those annoying sounds, but the more she tried not to hear, the clearer they became, lasting until two or three hours later, when Chantel’s voice became hoarse, and it finally ended.
At a certain mall.
Ian Keane’s father went to the toy store to buy gifts for the two kids.
Ivana Monroe held Ian Keane’s hand, and Timmy held Serena Norton’s hand as they picked out children’s clothes in a children’s clothing store.
Serena Norton didn’t have a pretend baby, but knowing she was going to the children’s clothing store to choose clothes for her "child" filled her with joy. She seriously selected clothes suitable for newborns in the store.
"Is this all? Do you want to choose more?" Ivana asked Serena with a smile.
"No, these two boxed sets have a lot of little clothes, enough for my child to wear." Serena was very satisfied with her choice, her eyes sparkling with maternal light as she handed the clothes to the salesperson.
"Ah, I forgot to bring money, what do I do?" Serena searched her pocket but found no money, suddenly becoming anxious.
"Grandma Serena, don’t worry. My mommy is here! My mommy brought money." Timmy said.
"You brought money? Then consider it a loan from you."
Ivana smiled and shook her head: "No need for loans. Timmy calls you Grandma Serena, so we are family. When you buy something, it’s only right I help you pay."
Outside, a woman in her fifties or sixties stopped in her tracks, looking incredulously at Serena Norton inside the children’s clothing store.
Ian’s mother’s heart began to race, her eyes filled with hatred: "Why is Serena Norton here?"
