Fated to the Alpha's Sons: An Omegas Rise to Fame-Chapter 60: Reading the future.
Chapter 60: Reading the future.
"Son of a bitch." She cursed, slipping her phone into her purse. She turned the knob opening the door, only to see Theo standing just before her, a mischievous smirk on his face.
She stood fuming before him, and just as he tried to touch her face, she slapped his arm away, lifting her other hand to punch his cheek, but he caught it mid air.
"Let me go." She whined, trying to get her wrist out of his vice grip, but he wasn’t letting her.
"I swear to God, I’m gonna shove my feet up your ass." She spat, narrowing her eyes at him.
Theo chuckled lightly at her threat, nodding his head.
"You’re free, when we’re done eating though, okay?" He said giving her mischievous grin, angering her even further.
"Son of a-" She tried to curse again, but Theo put his palm over her mouth, shushing her.
"I think you’ve called my Mother and your Luna a bitch way too many times today." He said causing her to pale as his statement sank in. His grin could not get any wider.
"I hate you." She muttered, struggling again to free her hand.
"No, you don’t." He said, pecking her forehead lightly.
"Let me go." She said through gritted teeth, but Theo wasn’t moving.
He had to give it to her, she had plenty strength and vigour.
"Nop." He said popping the ’P’.
Bethany couldn’t help but huff in frustration.
She looked up to his face to see a wide grin plastered on it, stating that he was clearly enjoying her annoyance.
Seeing her frustration, he pulled her closer, taking her lips with his. He kissed her softly, releasing her arm.
She leaned into his kiss, after some time before pulling away quietly.
"I’m sorry. Was joking with you." He said quietly, his eyes in hers.
’Okay.’ She wanted to say, but didn’t, smiling at him.
"Apology not accepted." She chirped, walking away.
"Oh, come on." He whined. "I even tried to make my apology romantic."
"Oh please." She said, walking into his sitting room. "You mean, you tried to satisfy a tad of your desire, trying to entrap me at the same time."
"I’m not that bad, Princess." He defended, hugging her from behind.
"Yeah. Of course, you aren’t, Alpha."
She was going to get her revenge, one way or the other.

"So, this spot you spoke of, what kind of food do they serve?" She asked as they drove out of the parking lot.
"Well, honestly, nothing fancy. Just burgers and fries, fried chicken, roasted beef and pork. Mainly meat and meaty foods." He answered, shrugging.
"Mmm. Burger isn’t meaty food though." She pointed out.
"Yeah it isn’t, but theirs has lots and lots of meat. Especially if you’re their regular." He said, winking at her.
"Mm, okay." She said, absentmindedly, as she looked out the window, staring at all the high rise buildings they passed.
They passed by a bus stop that was overflowing with people who seemed to be interested in something that was happening in their middle.
"Someone’s reading the future." Theo explained, his eyes fixed on the road.
"Reading the future? Is that even possible?" She asked, looking at him.
"Yeah, it is. But the person they are listening to is a huge fake."
"And how would you know that?" She asked, giving him a judging look.
"Because, I know people, Princess, and I know that if he was real, the witch council wouldn’t let him be on the streets." He stated.
"Witch Council?" She asked, quite confused. "I didn’t know there were still witches." She said, abit withdrawn.
"Oh, Princess. They are as real as day. Trust me. It took me a while to believe as well." He said, turning into a cramped parking lot.
"They do their bests to stay out of sight, but the exist. And looks like we’d have to take our food out." He said, opening his door and stepping out.
Bethany followed suit, leaving her purse behind.
"Why is that?" She asked, going to meet him where he stood.
"Why is what?" He asked, looking up from his phone where he texted a familiar employee his order so he could bring it out back.
"Why do they stay out of sight and why do we have to take our food out?" She asked, peering into the restaurant.
"They stay out of sight because, that’s what’s best. For them and for anyone else. And we are taking our food out because, the restaurant is really full. It’s lunch hour. Eldradors are heavy eaters."
"Mmm." She sighed, nodding in understanding. That explained why she couldn’t see much from where they stood.
"Stay right here, I’m coming. Let me go get our food." Theo said to her, pecking her forehead lightly before walking away.
She watched him walk to the side of the building, going around back. It didn’t take long till he was no longer in sight.
Sighing, Bethany walked back to their vehicle, leaning on it. She observed the way people trooped in and out of the restaurant continuously. Some came out with their take-outs wrapped in white bags that had the company’s logo, while some came out empty handed, but the satisfied looks they had did the explanation.
Somehow in her periphery, she saw three boys hassling each other, muffled grunts in their background.
Looking closely, she noticed that one of them was smaller than the other two, and looked like he was just returning from school.
The older boys seemed very interested in his backpack or something in it, and were trying to take it from him, but he didn’t seem to want to hand it to them, irrespective of how much they scared him.
She had to give it to him for being so brave, but knew he needed saving as soon as possible. His watery eyes showed just how soon he was going to break.
So she decided to go help the poor boy, her heart thundering in her chest as she got closer to them.
Images of how she’d been in his shoes sometime ago in her life flashing across her mind.
"What’s going on here?"
