Heavens POV

I was still on the bed and I didn’t even know what to do. I couldn’t even stand up to defend Mrs Huggins because I was weak.

"Sofia didn’t do anything!" Damon yelled

He did mt turn his head to look towards Sofia. His eyes were still on Mrs Higgins.

"You didn’t directly say it was Sofia but you implied it," Damon growled at Mrs Huggins and I saw her flinch.

Damian put a hand on Damon’s shoulder.

"Damon, calm down." Damina said trying to calm Damon but it seemed that the whole situation as escalated.

And I know Damon so well. He only does what he want and would never listen to anyone and certainly not his brother.

But Damon shook Damian’s hand off and bagan to walked towards Mrs Higgins who still had her head down.

My heart as hammering inside my chest. What was going to happen now? I hope he doesn’t sentence her to death or get her beheaded.

"Sofia has done nothing wrong, She has been loyal to this pack. Loyal to us. And you dare accuse her without proof?" 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

"I’m not accusing her," Mrs Higgins continued to stand her ground. She was alao as stobborn as they head and she wasn’t scared of anything.

"Yes, you are!" Damon shouted. "Don’t think that because we respect you doesn’t mean that we can’t treat your fuck u," he said.

His eyes were blazing blue. It seems like His wolf was at the surface and was about to crawl out.

"You’re saying Sofia tried to kill Heaven. You’re saying she’s capable of black magic. You’re saying she’s a murderer!"

"Damon, please," Sofia said .

What a joke. She’s pretending like she cares now.

Damon looked at her, and his expression softened immediately.

"No, Sofia. I’m definitely not going to let this go. She’s accusing you of something horrible." He said

He turned back to Mrs. Higgins, and his face was filled with anger.

"Take it back right now!!," he demanded.

Mrs. Higgins shook her head. "I will not Alpha, but until an investigation has been carried out,"

Then suddenly. I don’t even know the crazy thought that was going through Damon head.

I’m a second Mrs Higgins was standing just in front of the quadruplet and was backing me and in the next second, Damon had pinned her to the wall.

His hand had transformed into a massive wolf’s paw, claws extended. It pressed against her throat not too tight. Simon eyes had now transformed into his Wolf’s

"You will not accuse her, Do you understand me?" Damin growled:

Mrs. Higgins gasped, and her hands went to his furred wrist. "Alpha..."

"Sofia is innocent and you will apologize to her. Now." He said

My eyes were widened and I was filled with horror.

Damon was hurting the same person who had saved them from dying when they were just pups. He was pinning her to the wall and was strangling her just because she said that his mistress should be investigated too. Such an ungrateful being.

I pushed myself off the bed, even though my legs were weak, and I forced myself to stand.

"Heaven, no!" Desmond said.

But I ignored him. I ran. Mayb not really run but I tried to toward Damon. I stood between them and pressed my back against Mrs. Higgins. I faced Damon, and my hands were shaking. I shook my head frantically.

I wanted him to stop this madness.

Damon stared down at me. His wolf hand was still raised, still so close to Mrs. Higgins throat. But he couldn’t hurt her now, not without hurting me first.

"Move, Heaven," Damon said, his voice sounded really angry.

I shook my head again and again. ’Please stop this maddest!’ I said in my head hoping that he would understand me.

"She accused Sofia of trying to kill you, She deserves to be punished." Damin said.

I shook my head again. Tears were filling my eyes. I couldn’t let them hurt one more person that I cared about. Mrs Higgins is the only one who I had to guide and support me no matter what and he just trying to kill her?

I reached out slowly and placed my hand on his chest, right over his heart. It was beating so fast. I looked up at him, begging him with my eyes.

I was hoping that I could lay least soften him a little bit but I should have known that Damon was for more stubborn to be persuaded by a mute nobody like me.

Damin then smiled. He had an horror smile, the most scariest of smile I had ever seeing.

"Oh, I see. You want to be punished with her. Right!" He said.

I shook my head. No, no that wasn’t my intention. I wanted him to stop, that was all.

"How about beheading you two? or emm, oh, yes! I have the perfect one. I’ll behead her while you watch. Maybe this time, instead of loosing your voice you might just as well take your life," Damon said.

My eyes became teary. Damon was making fun of my parents death. Was I a joke to him? Why did he hate me this much? I kept crying and crying and it somehow made Damon more happy. He had a wide smile on his face.

"Enough of this Damian." Dylan said, he was walking towards us.

But then what Damon said was just playing in my head and I became more and more angry and sad.

Then I felt like I shouldn’t just cry. Something snapped inside of me and wanted to erase the fucking smile he had in his face. I didn’t even know when I raised my hand up and hir his face. Desmond that was coming towards me to protect me stopped in his track.

Sofia’s hand flew to her mouth. She was in shock. And I heard Mrs Higgins whispered my name and gasped.

I looked up at Damon as I expected him to be Socked but he wasn’t. Instant, the horrid smile he had on his face was still there. Only that it was a lot wider now. I swear, Damon was a psychopath and I was sure of it it.

Desmond resumed his walking and came to stand with me. "Don’t do anything Damon," Desmond but he just smiled.

"Okay Brother." Damon said raising his hand.

"I like making it slow and painful so I’ll wait."

My eyes widened. What did he mean by that? I was now regretting my decision of slapping. Damon was a crazy person and he’ll definitely take his revenge on the most horrible way possible.

He looked at me one more time before walking back to go see back ti stand with Damian and Dylan.

I turned around immediately. Mrs. Higgins was pale and shaking. I hugged her quickly, and she wrapped her arms around me.

"It’s okay, dear. Im okay," she whispered. But I could still see her trembling.

Sofia came forward and stood in front of I and Mrs Higgins. The moment she was standing in backing the quadruplets. She smiled mockingly.

"Mrs. Higgins, I’m so sorry. I never wanted this to happen." She said sweetly but we knew it wasn’t genuine

She doesn’t mean a word of it. I could see right through the act. Sofia didn’t care about Mrs. Higgins at all.

Mrs. Higgins looked at her and said nothing.

Sofia turned to Damon. "Thank you for defending me. But we shouldn’t always choose violence."

Damon’s expression softened when he looked at her. "I’m sorry. I just couldn’t let them stain your name like that.

Sofia smiled sadly. "I know. But it’s okay now."

She looked at me, her smile widening just slightly.

"I hope you get better now." She said

Liar, Heaven thought. You don’t care if I’m safe at all.

"Let’s go. I need you four to check out my room. It’s so perfect. And let’s spend the night together." I head Sofia say.

"Sofia has moved to this wing." Mrs Higgins said.

I turned to looke at her surprised. How can they allow such a thing to happen. The east wing was meant for Alphas and Luna only but they had brought their Mistress.

They really had no respect for me whatso ever.

" Heaven you can stay here if you want to, the quadruplets are coming to stay in my chambers." Sofia said smiling.

Why did she have to tell me? She could have just done what she wanted to do just like she gas always done. She even sounded like we were sharing the quadruplets.

"Mrs. Higgins, get all the staff in this mansion to gather for the meeting tomorrow," Damian said. "Anyone who is missing will be beheaded. And I’m not even joking about it,"

Mrs Higgins nodded. Even after what happened, she had no choice but to do as they said.

Sofia’s voice chimed in sweetly. "I’ll be there for the meeting. You know I’m good at noticing when something is off about somebody." She smiled brightly, placing a delicate hand on her chest. "I’ll help you get the person who tried to kill Heaven."

But Heaven knew the truth. Sofia was only pretending to care. She didn’t want to help find who hurt Heaven, she probably already knew exactly who it was because she planned it.
