Heaven’s POV

I looked at the mansion and I was happy to finally be home. At least I would be able to go up to my room and lock myself in it without having them around me. I was really glad

We just took another step in and I saw two young women at the entrance. They had wide smiles on their faces as if they were happy to see us

It was Maddie and Elle, the quadruplet sisters.

"Oh sister! You’re here!" Dylan said as he turned to acknowledge them. His face lit up when he saw Maddie and Elle.

Maddie was thirty years old and was still unmarrried and mateless. She was beautiful and tall. She lives in a different pack far away, where she works as a teacher. She moved there years ago because of the scandal.

Maddie and Elle do not share the same mother as the quadruplets. The former Alpha had a hidden mistress that than birthed Maddie and Elle and because of this, the pack didn’t full accepted them so they lived elsewhere to avoid the gossip.

Elle was much younger, she was exactly the same age as me, but she just as mean as Madeline.

Maddie walked up to Dylan and gasped she was in shock. "What happened to your face, Dylan?" she asked as she examined the wounds on his cheeks.

Dylan looked away. I’m sure he didn’t know how to explain that he had gotten into a fight because of me. That he had had fought

Remus, because he had touched me, even though he claimed that he did not care about me at all. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Before Dylan could think of a better for a better lie, Damon spoke up.

"You didn’t tell us you were coming," Damian said. He didn’t seem happy to see them. I could see that he was trying his best not to throw them out.

Maddie turned to him and smiled, but it wasn’t a sweet smile at all.

"I didn’t know I had to get permission before coming to my father’s house," she said sweetly.

"In case you haven’t noticed, our father is dead, and this pack belongs to us now," Damon said.

I could see that Maddie was offended by what Damian had said, but she didn’t show it on her face. She just kept smiling.

Elle stepped forward as she smiled sweetly at Damian.

"Brother Damian, we came all the way here to see you, we missed you."

"It’s Alpha Damian, you need to address us properly," he said.

Elle’s smile increased. "Alpha Damian, we are so happy to see you."

Damon turned to look at Maddie, he crossed his arms over his chest. "Why didn’t you come for our ascension ceremony, sister?" he asked.

He sounded like he was actually hurt that she was not there.

Maddie sighed and dramatically placed her hand on her heart. "I was truly going to come, but I had children to teach. You know I’m a teacher at the Moon River Pack School. The children depended on me and I couldn’t leave them."

"And thank the Goddess that I didn’t come," Maddie said.

The quadruplets stared at her. What did she mean by that? Why would she be glad not to have been to her brothers’ ascension?

Then Maddie turned her eyes to look at where I stood. She looked at me with total disgust.

"If I had come, I would have had to pluck my eyes out if I had witnessed this thing standing beside you as your mate and the Luna of this pack. It makes me sick," she said as if the thought of it made her want to throw up.

I clutched the side of my dress. I felt my chest rise and fall in anger. I didn’t say anything. I just stared at the wall as the quadruplets all turned to look at me.

"Sister Maddie!" Sofia let go of Damian’s arm and hurried forward into Maddie’s arms. Her eyes were leaking with fake tears.

Maddie grabbed her and stroked her hair as if she were a child.

"Oh my goodness, what happened to you, Sofia? Your dress is all torn!" she asked.

"It was Heaven! She ruined my chest and spilled wine all over my dress," Sofia sobbed as she pointed a finger at me.

Here we go again. She was spewing out more lies. She was the one that drenched my dress in wine, and now she had turned the whole thing upside down.

Anyone who heard her right now would think that I had walked up to her when she was minding her own business and tore her clothes for no reason.

Maddie and Elle believed all her lies. They looked at me like I was the devil himself.

They had always hated me long before my father had committed any crime, and I didn’t know why. Now that my father had committed treason, their hatred for me had grown so much.

And I didn’t care because the hatred was mutual; I hated them just as much as they hated me.

Elle stepped towards me with her hands on her hips. "I dare you to touch her again."

"She needs to be punished for this. You can’t let her get away with hurting someone you cherish so much," Maddie said, turning towards the quadruplets.

"Exactly. Let’s give her punishment three," Elle said, nodding her head.

My eyes widened in shock, and my heart began to beat faster.

Punishment three was the most ruthless punishment ever.

It was the kind of punishment given to witches when they were caught. I would have to be stripped naked and forced to walk around the entire pack while people watched and threw things at me. It was the worst.

"Guards! Come and take her outside to start her punishment!"

Two guards started walking towards me. I backed away. I looked at the brothers, waiting for them to stop this. Were they really going to allow their mate and the Luna of this pack to walk around naked all in the name of punishment?
