Chapter 855 -855: Showing Off to Mr. Cheney
The next morning, the temperature had risen a few degrees compared to the day before, and it was neither raining nor foggy.

It was indeed rare good weather.
At seven o’clock, Chale Cheney was woken up by Butler Santana.
“Little master, it’s time to get up.”
“Mmm… no…” Chale Cheney did not open his eyes, wriggled his bottom, grabbed the blanket with his small hand, and suddenly covered his little face.
Not listening, not listening.
Today was Saturday after all.
Saturdays were meant for sleeping in.
Butler Santana was both amused and exasperated as he called out again, “Little master, it’s time to get up, the driver will take you to see Miss Yale.”
“Emmm…” The little guy hummed twice in the bed, unwilling to move.
“Little master, didn’t you want to see Miss Yale all day yesterday? Don’t you want to see her today?”
“Jasy…” Little Chale Cheney called out softly under the covers and smacked his lips.
Um, he wanted to see…
Chale Cheney moved a little under the covers and rubbed his eyelids.
The curtains were not drawn, only specks of light filtered through the door.
Chale Cheney groggily sat up on the bed, his eyes sleepy, hair hanging over his forehead.
“Baby wants to see Jasy,” he said groggily as he glanced at Butler Santana.
“Alright, come on, little master, let’s get dressed, and then we can go downstairs for breakfast,” Butler Santana said as he handed him his clothes.
“Baby wants to wear the sweater Jasy knitted!” Chale Cheney puckered his lips, shaking his head.
“Alright, I’ll get it.”
Butler Santana knew that Jasmine Yale had knitted a sweater for Chale Cheney, which Chale usually didn’t like to wear for fear of wearing it out.
The little guy’s favorite thing to do was to wear the sweater knitted by Jasmine Yale, put on the scarf she had made, then stand in front of Mr. Cheney and show off.
Butler Santana had been in Landon for over half a year.
Actually, she didn’t quite understand Chale Cheney’s feelings for Jasmine Yale.
Did he see Miss Yale as a mother?
But Miss Yale was indeed very gentle and especially kind to the young master.
However, over the years, there had been many women who were kind to the young master; whenever there were special social events, when Mr. Cheney appeared with Chale Cheney, those women would come over, entertain Chale Cheney, and buy him snacks and clothes.
Yet, Chale Cheney wasn’t as close to them.
Even with Yolanda Fern, Chale Cheney wasn’t as attached to her as he was to Jasmine Yale.
This attachment and reluctance made Butler Santana feel fascinated too.
Jasmine Yale also doted on the little guy; sometimes, when Mr. Cheney scolded him, she would protect him.
That feeling… was like a mother’s for her child.
Butler Santana handed him the clothes.
Chale Cheney, holding his clean clothes, hopped into the bathroom, peeking his head out to close the door and smiled at Butler Santana.
Butler Santana was touched by his smile and smiled too.
This child was indeed the most sensible baby she had ever seen.
Butler Santana had raised him single-handedly and was very fond of him.
Downstairs, Lilac Serval was holding a teacup, sitting on the sofa.
The living room was very warm and comfortable, with a homely feel.
Such a feeling, Lilac Serval experienced it rarely, but she could tell.
The living room walls were adorned with colorful oil paintings, and the tables and coffee table were decorated with fresh and fabric flowers, including lilies, starflowers, and roses.
The living room decor was rather luxurious, rich with a strong European style.
Every line and decoration was as if drawn with bold strokes, splendid and grand.
The teacup felt warm in her palm, and Lilac Serval sat there, looking around without feeling tired.
She couldn’t afford a house, living in a perpetually rented apartment in Lonton, and drove a basic car.
