Fate: Hero of Justice Takeover-Chapter 311: [] The Final Outcome of the Story Shall Be Decided by Me!
Chapter 311: [311] The Final Outcome of the Story Shall Be Decided by Me!
The Third Magic – Materialization of the Soul.
After sacrificing seven heroic spirits, the Holy Grail was once again filled with pure magical energy, and a new Heaven’s Dress emerged to protect the soul of the Magician.
At the cost of sacrificing his physical body and unleashing the Third Magic—which normally required an extremely long casting time—Sakatsuki finally stood on equal footing with Draco once more.
"You’re right, Draco. It was always you who watched over me. You know everything about me, even my Magic—" Bathed in golden light, Sakatsuki smiled like a saint. "But do you have a way to counter the Third Magic?"
"Tch..." Draco flung away the remnants in her hand, glaring at the tantalizing soul before her, not bothering to hide her displeasure.
The Heaven’s Cup, forged from the convergence of seven heroic spirits and used for her own purposes, was powerful enough to elevate even the most fragile human to the level of a high-ranking Phantasmal Species—let alone someone as absurdly strong as Sakatsuki.
By the later stages of the Fourth Holy Grail War, Sakatsuki had already been able to fight Nameless—who was empowered by his Mythological Mystic Code—to a standstill using the Third Magic. How much further had he advanced in his mastery of the Third Magic since then? To what heights had his soul materialization reached?
Draco had no desire to find out, yet her wariness of the Third Magic had become an undeniable reality, the greatest obstacle standing between her and freedom.
Destroy him, or be sealed away once more in the depths of the Imaginary Numbers, forced to endure that woman’s incessant singing for all eternity...
That was a fate she would never accept again!
"You think unleashing the Third Magic will be enough to defeat me? How laughable!" With a furious roar, the Beast of Sodom surged forward atop towering waves, blotting out the sky. "Compared to Nameless and his Mythological Mystic Code, you’re still far from a threat!"
"But you’re no longer a complete Beast either—at best, you’re just a juvenile." A glimmer of white-gold light flickered to life, precarious at first, but as it fell into the tide of black mud, it erupted into a blazing conflagration!
Holding the Heaven’s Cup, the materialized soul softly chanted as divine swords once more rained from the sky. Draco angrily batted them aside with her wings, only for a cacophony of clashing metal to erupt behind her—countless Noble Phantasms had formed into a massive hand, gripping her crimson barrier and nearly crushing it to pieces!
"O Seven-Headed Dragon, become my fingers!" At her command, the Demon Beast Hydra surged forth like whips, lashing out and scattering the storm of weapons. Blades sliced deep, tearing through scales and leaving gaping wounds that gushed with blood—yet in the next instant, the injuries regenerated as if they had never existed.
While such formidable regeneration was indeed worthy of praise, the way Draco’s face suddenly scrunched up in pain nearly made Sakatsuki burst out laughing.
"Does it hurt?"
"What kind of stupid question is that?! Of course it hurts, you bastard!"
Pain turned to anger, anger into killing intent. Draco opened her maw, her wings spreading wide as they reversed course and devoured the black mud tide scorched by the white-gold flames. She squeezed out the last remnants of power from the Black Mud Grail, unleashing it in the most violent, unrestrained manner possible!
To Sakatsuki’s senses, countless blades lost their connection in an instant, as though the spreading darkness had swallowed everything whole.
A corrupting breath capable of annihilating all souls and life filled the arena, spilling outward until it even breached the barriers erected by the Three Supreme Gods, leaking out the faintest wisp.
Yet even that wisp was enough to utterly erase a section of the spectator stands. The heroic spirits of the Roman soldiers vanished without a sound, erased alongside that destruction.
The land itself was dying.
Flowers and plants that had once bloomed under the light of Rome withered and crumbled in rapid succession. The soil, nourished by the black mud, twisted and mutated, giving rise to grotesque new lifeforms that greedily consumed the existing ecosystem.
Then, shadowy figures reminiscent of Dragon Tooth Warriors emerged from the ground, fragments of heroic spirit Saint Graphs coalescing into Phantom Servants who silently raised their weapons against the Savior.
The white-gold flames, deprived of their medium, scattered and dissipated. In their place, the infernal flames of the Beast raged unchecked across the arena!
"Rosa Sanguis!" Shouting the name of her destruction, surrounded by a cage of crimson, Draco sneered at Sakatsuki.
"What use is grasping the Heaven’s Cup to you? Without a Grand or that insufferable Nameless here to interfere, I am invincible!"
Laughing triumphantly from the heart of the transformed battlefield, the Beast of Sodom stood unchallenged. The spectator stands were deathly silent—faced with such a vision of apocalypse, where bloodfire burned and shadows marched, even the bravest warrior would doubt their victory.
Crack, crack.
The blood crystals shattered—not the condensed malice of Lord Wu An, but a bulwark forged of pure iron, now assimilated by Draco’s tide into fragile crystal. As the shell peeled away layer by layer, the white-gold-clad youth with radiant eyes reappeared before Draco.
In his hands, he held a book—one imprinted with ancient sigils, threads of azure light swirling within its pages.
"This is..." Just looking at it made Draco’s hair stand on end, as though her very soul was being drawn inside.
Could this even be called a "book"?
What shocked her more was that she had never seen it before—not with Sakatsuki, nor even with Nameless!
"Fool. Did you really think I’d use the Heaven’s Cup to defeat you? It was just a stepping stone! A Holy Grail taken from you, paired with the Third Magic you already knew about—of course you’d have a countermeasure ready. If it were me, I’d have prepared for this form long ago!"
Laughing loudly as he mocked her, Sakatsuki raised the book high. The Holy Grail he had taken from Draco had long since been embedded within it, serving as the fuel for the manifestation of the Fate Compendium.
Yes, the Fate Compendium.
After absorbing the Moon Cell bestowed upon him by Nameless, it had finally gained the possibility of manifesting in this world!
Even if what it contained were but the records of countless heroic spirits, so long as Sakatsuki’s will remained unbroken, he could shoulder those records and bring the Fate Compendium into reality.
And its function was—
"I’ve wanted to say this line for the longest time!" Grinning excitedly, the white-gold soul raised the Fate Compendium and loudly proclaimed:
"The final outcome of the story shall be decided by me!"
Answering its owner’s call, the Fate Compendium began flipping its pages with a rustle.
[Third Magic activated. Faith concept extracted.]
[Records unfolded. Spiritron conversion prepared.]
[Phenomenon editing preheating complete.]
[Story begins.]
And so, in that moment of absolute silence, only the young man’s magnetic whisper could be heard:
"Once upon a time, there was a hunter..."
