Farming with Entries: From Lord to Emperor-Chapter 463 - 250: Magic Potion Workshop (7K)_2
As Luo De’s personal guard, even after the turmoil of last night, Vivian wouldn’t sleep.
She stayed dressed, alert, guarding Luo De’s safety.
"What are the plans for today, my Baron?"
Vivian asked softly.
Luo De yawned and then instructed, "Inform the guards to have Vika come over after breakfast."
"Alright, my Baron."
Vivian swiftly jumped off the bed and conveyed the order.
Then Leah came in to assist Luo De with getting up and washing, while the servants brought in the prepared breakfast.
Luo De had long shed the impoverished lifestyle of a lord, and his meals had gradually become more lavish.
The clay pot was filled with cooked shrimp, the shells slightly pink from the steam, sprinkled with fine salt and chopped scallions.
Pieces of salt-cured ham were sliced thinly, with glossy yellow fat, laid out on a sturdy wooden plate.
The toasted bread was sliced thin and neatly placed on the side.
On the table was a stew of wild mushrooms and wild boar, with chunks of carrots, and a thin layer of oil floating on top of the fat.
At the corner of the table were a small jar of crystallized light honey and jam, with chunks of hard cheese beside them.
Leah spread jam on the bread slices, placing the ham and shrimp between them, laying it in front of Luo De, and also served half a bowl of meat soup.
Leah had to serve Luo De, while Avril and Vivian dined, and with Luo De eating quickly, Leah could not pause for a moment.
Yet Leah felt no fatigue, her face was full of the joy of serving the lord.
This was also what allowed Leah to command most of the manor’s servants.
After Luo De’s life force recovered, his appetite decreased somewhat, and he only ate six sandwiches and three bowls of meat soup before getting up and returning to the hall.
Vika had long been waiting outside the hall, and upon seeing Luo De, he immediately bowed in greeting.
"Good morning, my lord, is there anything you need?"
"No particular commands, just that you and your wife Nessa and your clan have done well, and something will be rewarded to you."
Luo De made no secret, directly placing the bone polyhedron in front of Vika.
"Thank you for your gift."
Before Vika could see what it was, he first bowed.
In the days spent in Frost Leaf Town, Vika had already learned etiquette.
After bowing, he raised both paws, accepting what Luo De handed over, and examined it carefully.
"My lord, this item is..."
"This is what you desire most,"
Luo De smiled, looking at Vika,
"The Ancestor Spirit Box."
...
...
Vika walked out of the manor in a daze, his steps somewhat unsteady.
Countless thoughts surged in his mind.
Coincidentally, Nessa, who was delivering herbs to Luna, saw the vacant-eyed Vika and hurried up to support him.
"What’s the matter with you?"
Nessa looked at Vika nervously, "What did the lord say? Why are you wandering here?"
"Nessa, the lord gave me three days off to comprehend the skills of the ancestors."
Vika was staring blankly at Nessa.
"The skills of the ancestors? But where do we find our ancestors’ skills..."
Nessa’s questioning tone abruptly stopped, suddenly realizing, "Could it be..."
The morning breeze swept through Vika’s fur, and he looked at Nessa, nodding solemnly.
Nessa’s eyes widened, and she couldn’t help but cover her mouth.
"Oh my! Is this true?"
Vika pointed to his head, "The ancestral heritage is now in my mind."
"That’s great!"
Nessa jumped up in excitement, tightly hugging Vika.
"We don’t even know how many years we’ve been waiting!"
"The ancestral heritage has finally returned!"
Nessa’s voice trembled with excitement.
"No wonder your aura has changed, looking more mysterious!"
Nessa wasn’t exaggerating.
The mountain cat people contacting their Ancestor Spirit Box naturally differed from someone like Luo De.
What Luo De saw were merely images and memories, but the mountain cat people could awaken the talents in their bloodline; the rest is the method of cultivation.
"Where’s the Ancestor Spirit Box? Let me see it now!"
Nessa eagerly reached out, searching over Vika, even reaching into the mountain cat man’s chest.
Vika quickly stopped Nessa’s actions, awkwardly pulling her aside,
"The Ancestor Spirit Box is still with the lord, I didn’t take it."
Vika explained in a low voice, "The ancestral soul is very fragile, it might shatter and disperse at any moment, and the lord is trying to stabilize it."
"The lord wants me to first familiarize myself with the heritage, awaken the talent, and then guide the other clan members."
Vika looked towards the distant, rising walls, imagining,
"Once our talents awaken and stabilize, based on actual cultivation experiences and heritage information, we’ll collaborate with Lady Avril to document our heritage."
"In this way, the heritage of our mountain cat people will never be lost again!"
"That’s wonderful!"
Nessa even more excitedly couldn’t help praising, "The lord is truly a great human!"
"Yes, this time the lord made no demands or conditions, without hesitation handing over the Ancestor Spirit Box, and
Vika held Nessa’s shoulders, looking at her solemnly,
"We mountain cat people must not betray this trust!"
"Mm-hmm! We must diligently complete every task entrusted by the lord!"
Nessa nodded vigorously,
"Then I’ll go deliver the herbs, and you quickly return to comprehend the heritage!"
"Alright."
Vika nodded heavily, raised his paw to bid farewell to Nessa, and returned to his wooden house.
The mountain cat people were still living in dormitories, only mountain cat couples had independent apartments.
As a leader, Vika’s apartment was twice the size of the other mountain cat people’s, effectively an independent wooden house.
Back in the house, Vika crouched on the ground like a mountain cat.
