Farming is OP-Chapter 90 Oasis fun and leaving the desert*
Apparently, the Knight captain thought the prince could handle the first watch, which he very well could have… If he didn’t immediately go over and start pissing into the oasis, the same water we had and were going to drink from in the future, and that’s how the elemental got a hold of him, because he bypassed the safe zone I set up like a fucking moron.
It was hard to get back to sleep after the intense fight that happened. It was good to know that the safe zones even stood up to a mini-boss's attacks. It was because of the sudden fight, but I also had to deal with how sexually pent up I was. Ever since I met Tems, I haven’t gone a single day without having sex; most days, I’d spend hours having sex, and the only thing that really changed was the number of women who would meet me in bed.
It had been a fight, with just Tems, she wasn’t enough at one point, then Silk joined, soon they weren’t enough together, then Cherry also became my wife. My sexual prowess only increased with each wife I gained; now was one of the few times I could go to sleep fully satisfied while also having my wives all satisfied as well. And now I had gone days without a release, I was pent up.
I could see it in my wives as well. At least the ones who burned hot and craved sex as badly as I did. Those would be Tems, Olivia, Sophia, and Milly(Millicent). Silk would be if she were in heat, and Sarah had mostly calmed down and focused on my wives more than me. Cherry, Leaf, and Roka had lower libidos; they loved sex but didn’t crave it every single day like my other wives, and Delilah had the mindset to focus on an objective, possibly the least likely to have sex with me while we weren’t in town.
I had my horny wives sneak out with me. Marcus was on watch now and gave me a head nod as we made our way into the water. I stripped down to my underclothes and made my way into the water. As gross as the prince pissing in the water was, the oasis was a significant amount of water, so it was diluted to almost nothing, and only the act of pissing in our water source was remembered. I found the cave he was talking about and came up to show my four wives the way.
That night, I learned that a mana crystal vein left plenty of sharp shards on the ground nearby as I drained all our pent-up lust in that cave. The next morning, I was slightly tired, but was in a far better mood than the day before. I bit into one of the last apples we brought with us, as we would need to start eating rations soon. We made it about half the distance we travelled before we saw the dungeon switch, which would still take hours to eventually reach at our pace.
That was when the third mini-boss appeared. We were once again ambushed as a fucking gigantic scorpion popped itself out of the ground right beside us. “Another fucking mini-boss! Are you kidding me? Did this dungeon spend all its resources on just minibosses?” That had to be the case, but I couldn’t tell because the dungeon was destroyed.
I’m just about to rush in and overwhelm it like we had done for the last two, but something felt off about the situation, so I stayed back and looked around. I see the prince running away, which was good; we didn’t need him getting in the way of the fight. His running so the knight captain could focus on fighting was a good thing.
That was when the second giant scorpion popped out of the ground. “We got two!” I pushed the surviving mercenary away just before the second scorpion's pincer attack landed. Its tail shot forward in front of the scorpion before unleashing a spray of acid where the mercenary was.
You’d think the carapace would make the scorpion the most defensive, but that was the case, unless you were strong enough to break the carapace, then its defense was less than the Roc or Water elemental, and we had a lot of strong fighters in our group. They were weaker, but the Roc had a long lead-up to its attack, and the water elemental had to drown the people it got hold of; the scorpions' attacks could instantly kill someone if they hit.
The first scorpion was almost dead, while the mercenary and I kept the other distracted… That was when the baby scorpions popped out of the ground. I say baby, but they were still the size of a large dog. Their exoskeletons were white instead of black, and they waited until their mother or father lured me and the mercenary between them.
I grabbed the one behind me by its tail and swung it like a weapon as I retreated. The mercenary didn’t retreat, but fought instead, which I thought was a mistake. I wasn’t an experienced fighter, but I knew fighting while completely surrounded was incredibly stupid, and that was clearly shown when he was stung from behind, which distracted him from the gigantic scorpion in the front.
The giant scorpion's tail lashed out, striking him. I heard him scream out in pain before his lungs were filled with that corrosive poison, killing him before it tried to focus on my wives, who were now done with the first scorpion. I killed three of the dozen little scorpions as we made our way away from the other fighting; they slotted in fighting the next gigantic scorpion while I kept the babies busy.
The fight slowly leaned more and more in our favor as time went on, and the only loss was the mercenary who was still recovering from being dropped from the sky by the Roc. I healed his legs to the best of my ability, but I didn’t have the experience to make sure nothing went wrong. He might not have thought of escaping because he didn’t have the speed he had just a day earlier and knew it.
I was frustrated with this dungeon; the ambush mini-bosses were fucking annoying, and even though the centaurs killed more of our people than this dungeon had, I still felt like this one would have claimed more lives if we hadn’t gotten so lucky. This was the first time I had seen how dangerous dungeons really were.
We made it out of the desert and into a grassland or flatland dungeon next. I was already sick of this and just wanted to kill the corrupted dungeon, but as we hadn’t entered an actual living dungeon, but the area where a dungeon was just destroyed, I knew we’d need to make our way through this one before hopefully getting to the final dungeon.
This dungeon felt eerie. I could tell it would have been the most dangerous if it still had a core, but it no longer did. Something was supposed to be happening, but without the core to direct it, nothing was. It was equivalent to the desert where we walked for a long time without seeing much. There were rocks and trees here and there, but it was mostly barren.
We made it about halfway through the dungeon again when we finally came upon it. A gigantic tree, easily the size of a castle, stood before us where a gigantic battle had taken place. Both sides had the most casualties I had ever seen. Armies of the lizardmen, a half dozen of those false-dragons, and a mixture of monster races, as I saw gnoll, kobold, goblin, hobgoblin, bugbear, orc, ogre, and troll corpses scattered in this fight. I looked on in awe, as I hadn’t seen anything like this before.
We made our way inside and started climbing our way up. Making it past the hundreds of other monsters trying to stop the corrupt dungeon from making it to the top, that was when we made it to the top and looked in at a royal chamber. I gulped as I tried to piece together the fight that took place here.
