Farming in a Parallel World and Becoming a God-Chapter 2198 - 999: Luring the Enemy Deep
There are mainly two sources.
The first is natural evolution, like Skeletons, Zombies, Ghosts, Shadows, and Specters.
No human intervention is needed. In some unique natural environments, such as areas rich in Negative Energy or regions filled with resentful death, they may arise.
This type of Undead often follows its original biological characteristics.
Human corpses can only transform into Regular Skeleton Soldiers or Zombies and will not become Giants.
The Skeleton Soldiers transformed from Trolls are also large-bodied.
Even if human intervention occurs, it only increases the transformation success rate, and cannot easily change the form.
The second type is artificially created, like Death Knights, Witches, Death Stalkers, Corpse Hounds, including Reaper Demon Lords, which belong to this category.
They cannot be born naturally; they must go through complex spellcasting ceremonies, requiring a suitable transformation subject to summon them, both aspects are essential.
For example, a Witch must be a powerful Spellcaster before transformation; ordinary people cannot endure the Witch’s transformation ceremony.
The Reaper Demon Lord must have been a mighty warrior in life to withstand the torturous transformation ceremony—while alive, having their body dissected, Negative Energy Channel runes inscribed on their bones, then sewn back together, allowing the Negative Energy to complete their transformation, turning them into a carrier of the Negative Energy Channel.
Before transformation is complete, they must remain alive. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
Negative Energy amplifies their physical pain, distorts their soul, making them exceptionally insane, even modifying their perception of pain, as is the case with General Sethstein.
The Soul Pool on the Plains of Bone can only summon the first type of Undead and will not summon the second type.
"Could it be the influence of a Divine Power Presence? The one invading here is not a Divine Power Presence of the Upper Plane, but a death-related True God, though which Divine Power they wield is unknown?"
General Sethstein, being quite knowledgeable, immediately reacted.
The two situations above are confined within the mundane, while a Divine Power Presence is a rule-breaking existence.
In issues like the Territory of Giant Bones affected by Advanced Undead Lords, everything heavily trends towards giant bone structure, let alone a Divine Power Presence specializing in death; their ability would be even more demonic.
This hypothesis made General Sethstein even more excited.
This implied the enemy’s Strength is more compatible with his own. If he defeats the enemy, even if he cannot replace them, his abilities will undergo a qualitative leap, possibly even acquiring the Six-armed Skeleton Soldiers.
"Test their ability." General Sethstein did not directly send a large army but selected a force of Half-Giant Skeleton Soldiers roughly equal in number to the opponent, about ten thousand or so.
He wanted to test the enemy’s combat prowess and further probe their details.
He became the top general under the Giant Bone King not by reckless actions but by being coarse yet meticulous, hiding conspiracy and calculation within madness.
Including the prior assault on the Giant Bone King, all served multiple purposes.
He was probing the Giant Bone King’s Strength while showcasing his own madness, establishing a personal image.
If the opponent remained as formidable as ever, he would continue to serve beneath them, fulfilling his role as a general.
If the opponent showed even slight weakness, he would transition from probing to a fatal assault, replacing them.
The same applied now; he scrutinized the capabilities of the opposing Divine Power Presence but dared not underestimate them.
Upon seeing the overwhelming Undead Army surging forth, the Vanguard Army of the Slaughter Skeleton Legion showed no fear, charging forward with full momentum at first light.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
The two Skeleton Legions from different affiliations collided heavily, producing no roars or howls, just countless sounds of bones clashing.
Both Skeleton Legions focused more on Attack and less on defense.
One relied on heavy and powerful force, with robust bones; one swing from a Giant Bone Club could send a Skeleton Soldier flying, including the Six-armed Skeleton Soldiers.
The other relied on additional attacks provided by multiple arms, intending to eliminate the enemy before they inflict damage.
Upon first engagement, it was evident that the Six-armed Skeleton Legion was disadvantaged.
Because the Half-Giant Skeleton Soldiers had a superior charge, the advantages of the Six-armed Skeleton Soldiers had not yet manifested before being smashed apart by a Giant Bone Club.
But when both sides plunged into a chaotic fight, the smaller Six-armed Skeleton Soldiers gained the upper hand, with Bone Blades wildly slashing everywhere, the Half-Giant Skeleton Soldiers unable to defend themselves; their attack speed slow, struggling to wield their Giant Bone Clubs amid crowds.
The most deadly was the red glow that occasionally emanated from the Bone Blades of the Six-armed Skeleton Soldiers.
At such moments, balance kept shifting.
The Half-Giant Skeleton Soldiers were either destroyed or weakened, while the Soul Fires of the attacking Six-armed Skeleton Soldiers burned even brighter.
On the battlefield, even the slightest advantage snowballs; such is the case with the Six-armed Skeleton Soldiers Legion.
By the time the Half-Giant Skeleton Soldiers Legion was eliminated, at least sixty percent of them remained, albeit many were barely holding on.
"Slaughter Divine Power! Haha... Slaughter Divine Power... Bal’s Slaughter Divine Power did not end up in Hell, but rather descended into the Bottomless Abyss... Haha...
Praise Okas, this is the Undead Monarch’s gift to me... Haha... If the Slaughter Divine Power can be converted and seized... the Undead Monarch would see me differently, it’s not impossible I’ll be elevated as the new lord of the Plains of Bone..."
